Two Morons: Bush and Saakashvili
"President Bush, Will You Please Shut Up?"
http://www.counterpunch.org/roberts08132008.html

The purpose of the Georgian attack on the Russian population of South Ossetia is twofold:

To convince Europeans that their action in delaying Georgia’s NATO membership is the cause of “the Russian aggression” and that to save Georgia from conquest Georgia must be given NATO membership.

To ethnically cleanse South Ossetia of its Russian population. Two thousand Russian civilians were targeted and killed by the US-equipped and trained Georgian Army, and tens of thousands fled into Russia. Having achieved this goal, Saakashvili and his puppet-masters in Washington quickly called for a cease fire and a halt to “the Russian invasion.” The hope is that the Russian population will be afraid to return or can be prevented from returning, thus removing the secessionist threat.

That is Awesome!!

Thanks

One thing I don't understand about this election is: 1) how did John McCain actually get the nomination, and 2) what good comes out of a choice between Caligula (McPapen) and Heliogalabus (Obama)?

I can answer the first part -------McCain got teh nomination because he is the dumbest candidate and can be jerked around to say anything -- Just like Bush!

Actually, out of the bunch of asshats the Repubs were giving their candidates, he was their only semi-passable one.

Even so, he's still Caligula and Obama's still Heliogalabus.

Damn, if only Heliogalabus had been Augustus in 330 BC...

That was amazing! Great video work!

Hoooooo Aggghhh!

Very funny!

Thank you...

LOL I'm sorry but seeing Obama's head on a white guys body is funny.

McCain's face on Clubbers body is even funnier.

Bill As Paulie is a hoot.

But nothings as funny as seeing hillary's head on a shirtless Black Dudes body.

You think Obama is like a sun god? Or like Varius Avitus Bassianus?

Jerome Corsi, author of 'Unfit for Command" with John O'Neill, and latest Obama smear "Obama Nation" say's John McCain is backed by a Muslim terrorist group with ties to Al Quaida.

And the first paragraph:

Presumptive Republican presidential nominee John McCain has enjoyed strong support from a lobbyist group that backs the Kosovo Liberation Army despite allegations the KLA is a Muslim terrorist group with ties to criminal drug networks and al-Qaida.

Money Quote...

In April 1999, McCain and Sen. Joe Lieberman, D-Conn., co-sponsored the "Kosovo Self-Defense Act" with the goal of arming the KLA in their battle against the Serbs.

McCain co-sponsored the legislation despite serious concerns voiced at that time in Republican policy forums, warning the KLA was a criminal terrorist organization with ties to al-Qaida and Osama bin Laden.

Say it ain't so, Joe!

Newsweek is reporting that Pervez Musharraf will resign Monday, in exchange for being allowed to go into exile in Saudi Arabia. A current aide to Musharraf states that this is accurate, though officially Pakistan is denying it.

Great, a destabilized nation where a "Bush buddy" is on his way out the door and there will be a mad scramble to claim the top job. And it's got nuclear weapons...

Excellent piece of work. Well done.

Now that they've had a TV show based on those idiotic caveman car commercials, when can we expect a sitcom based on the Rock-em Sock-em Robots?

Let me reemphasize that McCain believes a child is conceived at inception so under his Presidency any rape victim is stuck with carrying that child to term.

Clinton as Appolo was awesome, but I think that was actually Baracky III, wasn't it?

Oops I mean a child viable at conception.

Unless the rape victim is his child.

Yes. It was Rocky III with James Clubber Lang...

You think Obama is like a sun god? Or like Varius Avitus Bassianus?

The Emperor who would have been Constantine had he lived some 300 years later.

The Augustus Varius was 300 years too early for what he tried to do.

Worshiping Elagabal might have been...different, but it probably would have ended up quite similiar to Christianity, considering the two religions were both Near Eastern monotheistic religions. Alas, Augustus Varius was too damn early.

Obama meets his best new buddy T. Boone:

"The presidential hopeful praised Pickens as a "legendary entrepreneur" and deflected a question about the billionaire's role in helping to fund a television ad campaign that undermined John Kerry, the 2004 Democratic nominee. "You know, he's got a longer track record than that," Obama told reporters when asked about Pickens' association with the ads by a group called Swift Boat Veterans for Truth."

Yep. "Legendary".

"On the GOP side, the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth and the Progress for America Voter Fund raised about $58 million, of which T. Boone Pickens pitched in $4.5 million."

BARACKY II ... very funny... much needed grins!
thanks!

Saudi Arabia?

I guess where else would a Urdu-speaking kid from Delhi who grew up in Turkey retire to?

He must have knocked something loose when he fell out of that mango tree as a child.

Didn't the shah move to Georgia? (I mean US Georgia, home of peaches and peanuts and Coca-Cola.)

The guy was a visionary, and he attempted to convert Rome to a Near Eastern religion some 200 years too soon.

In the same way, Barack Obama represents something entirely new, a Christian Leftist politician who can actually have a chance of running the country worth a damn (as opposed to the last time we tried it) and is a black man.

Hopefully Obama's visionary attitude will get better press 200 years from now than Heliogalabus did.

Look, "Clean Coal" is a big coal corporate lie and "safe" nuclear power (fusion) is decades off (2035).

So WTF is Obama talking about?

Maybe the fact that he's taken hundreds of thousands in donations from and has advisors closly linked to big coal and the nuclear power lobby has something to do with it...Ya think?

Go figure.

Great video. Thanks.
The Rocky analogy made me think about the Olympics and the importance of playing by the rules.

Regarding his constant use of negative ads, McCain should be disqualified for, in boxing terminology, constantly hitting below the belt. He fights dirty.

I've already bookmarked this as a favorite video. Greatness!

Plus I would mention that the two party system is flawed (insanely), but I still like Obama. I can see on this site that no one is really excited about his VP candidates. Every name that has been floated around has been met with disdain, feint praise, or downright pessimism. Can everyone agree that the VP choice will be good? I have faith that Obama knows what he is doing in picking his running mate.

I believe his choice is reflected upon his strategy of state by state wins (Tim Caine), despite his seeming lack of "not bringing anything to the table." If he picks Biden then he's filling a need for experience and nation security. And despite is very public bouts of verbal diarrhea, he will be a junkyard dog when it comes to the campaign (see his Rudy comments and going after Pres. Dum Dum/VP Vader).

“The Gulag Archipelago” by Alexander Solzhenitsyn:
Along with other prisoners, he worked in the fields day after day, in rain and sun, during summer and winter. His life appeared to be nothing more than backbreaking labor and slow starvation. The intense suffering reduced him to a state of despair… So he gave up.

Leaving his shovel on the ground, he slowly walked to a crude bench and sat down. He knew that at any moment a guard would order him to stand up, and when he failed to respond, the guard would beat him to death, probably with his own shovel. He had seen it happen to other prisoners.

As he waited…he looked up and saw a skinny old prisoner squat down beside him. The man said nothing. Instead, he used a stick to trace in the dirt the sign of the Cross. The man then got back up and returned to his work.

As Solzhenitsyn stared at the Cross drawn in the dirt his entire perspective changed…. he knew there was something greater than the evil he saw in the prison camp, something greater than the Soviet Union…Through the power of the Cross, anything was possible.

Hmm…POW story…silent meeting…the sign of a cross traced into the dirt in a show of Christian solidarity…the strength it gives to go on…Oh, but it gets better still, because it turns out McCain is a big fan of Alexander Solzhenitsyn, indeed McCain even wrote about Solzhenitsyn in an article, and even specifically mentioned “The Gulag Archipelago” in that very same article. And this would have been quite recent in his memory, since the article is from only two weeks earlier.

From a post at HuffPo.

Loved it!!! Very light and fun! Thanks for posting this video!

Nuclear energy and coal both have enormous problems that no world leader has ever satisfactorily addressed. A federation the size and wealth of the United States should have an easy time doing that, non?

Jerome Corsi never let a fact-checker get in the way of publishing a pile of lies. He can go suck on a bag-full of (insert degrading noun here).

Video was inspirational in a goofy kind of way. Thanks for posting bluegal!

HuffPo has an article about a "post-American era." From what I see, it's already begun. Most of you know I live in South Korea, and China is now its biggest trading partner, same with Japan. We are not in a recession here.

I was in Canada this summer, and we are not in recession either. It seems largely limited to the USA.

For the last 11 years, I've watched East Asia grow at staggering rates. The USA is quickly becoming irrellevent here.

Canada does thank you for buying our energy and other stuff, it's keeping our economy strong. I didn't hear a peep about recession in three weeks there.

Seconds 14-16 are gold! Ha ha!

That clip was fantastic! It needs to be on tv. I'm still laughing!

Over a year's worth of shotty, irascible, and most importantly inconsequential news clips ...reduced to 5+ minutes of pure entertainment truth..., (albeit,my truth)...quite an achievement! BRAVO!!! Enjoyed immensely!!

Very entertaining. It's ironic though that we have "Baracky" and earlier in the primaries Hillary channeling Rocky when Sly Stallone in fact endorses (unofficially I guess) John McCain.
I would have preferred a wrestling analogy rather than the boxing one but hilarious nonetheless.

I always secretly suspected McCain and Hillary were really black men.
