Senator McGrumpy Says Obama's Foreign Policy Is 'Naive'
February 20, 2014

Senator John McCain just can't resist a swipe at a president who won't send in the bombers at first light, can he?

The Hill has the money quote about the Ukraine:

“This thing could spiral out of control into a major international crisis,” McCain warned on Thursday. “The first thing we need to do is impose sanctions against people in leadership positions, including the oligarchs who control this collapsed economy.”

In case you weren't aware, Senator McCain was photographed in December palling around with leaders from Svoboda, the neo-fascist ultra-right wing opposition party. Not only did he pal around with them, he actually supports them.

McCain claims putting boots on the ground isn't an option, so how is it naive for the administration to support sanctions if that's what McCain thinks should happen? (Hint: he doesn't. He wants war.)

Tell me again who's naive?
