Democrats get caught in many fewer (and usually less severe) scandals.
Democrats don't try to cover it up. They usually get caught trying to fix the issue.
Democrats take responsibility. They don't blame 'God's Plan' for their behavior.
Democrats usually resign afterward.

Not a scientific observation, just an observation. I'm sure one could point out a dozen Democrats that don't fit this profile, and I could point out 100 or so 'Family Values' Republicans that are caught cheating on their wives, usually with men, who are often paid for the privilege, many times with illegal drugs in the mix, and are alarmingly often underage, almost always a day or two after speaking out against gay rights, who then say they need more God to cast out the "Gay Demons" (though it's funny how non-religious people never seem to be afflicted), and still keep their jobs because they are better than some LIBERAL!

You know what's better than Cokie?

While Cokie was graduating High School in 1960, another young girl was walking to school in her hometown, Ruby Bridges, the first African-American child to attend an all-white elementary school in the South.

Bridges was assigned to William Frantz School. Her father initially was reluctant, but her mother felt strongly that the move was needed not only to give her own daughter a better education, but to "take this step forward ... for all African-American children."

The court-ordered first day of integrated schools in New Orleans, November 14, 1960, was commemorated by Norman Rockwell in the painting The Problem We All Live With. As Bridges describes it, "Driving up I could see the crowd, but living in New Orleans, I actually thought it was Mardi Gras. There was a large crowd of people outside of the school. They were throwing things and shouting, and that sort of goes on in New Orleans at Mardi Gras. As soon as Ruby Bridges got into the school, white parents went in and brought their own children out; all but one of the white teachers also refused to teach while a black child was enrolled. Only Barbara Henry, from Boston, Massachusetts, was willing to teach Bridges, and for over a year Mrs. Henry taught her alone, "as if she were teaching a whole class."
