i don't know if commenters are supposed to issueretractions; hell, i don't even know if bloggers are supposed to issue retractions.

but last weekend, i told ya'll a story about my library having two finely-sculpted busts by the main entrance: abraham lincoln & u.s. grant.

well, i went there the other day, and certainly abe is there, but the other one ain't grant. unless it's a disheveled grant in a robe, with his hair and beard all wild, perhaps after a bender at a toga party. i think it's sockertees, or maybe airistoddle. not sure.

anyhow, just wanted to clarify...

Grant spent his last years here in Humboldt, Northern California? It's a great place to give up, drink yourself to death.

bullfrog's picture

humboldt's a great place to score some dank nugs, if you're into that sort of thing.

wouldn't be surprised if grant was ingesting thc one way or another; poor guy died of cancer, and was probably in pain!

have guessed that I had anything in common with the GOP elite. I have contempt for evangelicals too. Just goes to show you there is some good even in the GOP.

dude you were on fire last night. raising holy hell. thanks for putting up with my shenanigans. i know some of my stuff seems a little weird sometimes, but trust me, there's method to the madness.

if we make it thru this shit, i'll one day write a book, and publish it online for free...

Orangutan.'s picture

I get the impression you know what you are doing. I'll look forward to it :)

bullfrog's picture

we understand "war is a racket". we understand the federal reserve is a hydra.

how different might history have been, had the banksters never been allowed to set up shop, in 1913?

could we have avoided world war 1? and if we avoided world war 1, could we have avoided world war 2?

and WHO WAS SIR GILBERT PARKER?

i'll tell you who parker was, he was england's premiere propagandist, who meticulously orchestrated america's involvement in world war 1, the most pointless "endeavor" in human history.

he operated out of wellington house, in total secrecy.

he was a secret society tool, who resigned once america was committed to entering the "great" war, claiming he was in poor health, but probably felt a deep shame.

he claimed to have been able to see ghosts.

he wrote a book called, "the money master".

can you connect him to tavistock square, or tavistock house, where english blood was splattered on 7/7?

somehow, i suspect the rumpelstiltskin family, who operate out of london, are neck-deep in this shit...

Amitola's picture

the broadening of propaganda "as a profession" (public relations is what we call it now) you might want to read up on Edward Bernays, nephew of S. Freud and integral to the use of manipulation of the masses by governments/corporations in the 20th cent.

"Egotism is the anesthetic that dulls the pain of Stupidity" - Frank Leahy

bullfrog's picture

is this the "fast eddie" you're referring to?

Amitola's picture

I don;t know a lot about him, but what I've read in the past seems to indicate that he was quite a prominent fellow in the "corrupting" of the media by corps and gov't to steer the masses. As a close relative of Freud, he used Freud's ideas/understandings about the psyche to develop his PR crap.

I find this interesting as most of us are completely unaware of how little control we have over our subconscious motives for our actions in life. Unfortunately, these guys and those corporate fascists running the gov't and the "other" illuminati
do.

better hurry or ysbs book will be out first!

that's the name of the book i'm gonna write, ty. actually, i'm gonna probably write a few.

"how rudolph hess got lost in the mel blanc madhouse" isn't just about world war 2, it's about the struggle versus dogma we face today.

it's about how men's minds solidify like steel, but how even steel melts when it reaches a certain temperature.

another book i've been thinking about writing would be called "tyree: an untold story from a forgotten war", but i probably should get the crazy old bastard's permission first!

guess i could learn to spell hess' first name properly! it's "rudolf".

bullfrog's picture

back in the fall of 2006, just before the election, on a whim, i visited c&l and started this thing called "the people's illuminati of america"

it surely sounded like a joke, but it wasn't. my intent was to demystify a certain word, which is the name of a very real world-famous secret society (and let's face it -if your secret society is world-famous, you're doing something wrong.)

my idea for the "people's illuminati of america" was that anyone could join, you didn't have to report to me or anyone else. all you had to do was tell the truth, all day, every day.

Peter G's picture

I heard some talk about the motive to get women into the workforce and basically have each and every human being be a taxable entity. I don't know about that. I'm all for womens rights, but I don't like the breakup of the family trend I've seen over the last fifty or so years. I wish one person could support a family of four or five as well as they did in the past.

This guy comes across as pretty honest to me.

Yeah, I can see that this is one drawback to families where both parents work. I wish there was a way to try and encourage employers to pay decent wages again, without limiting women's opportunities to have work if they want it...

back !saturday mornings a bad day for walking ol bandit , hes allways trying to run after cars even though hes on a leash and he goes crazy seeing people out washing thier cars but the truth is he just wants to lick them to death but youd think he wants to tear them limb from limb, anyway ask yourself why the second building went down first, its as plain as the nose on your face if you think about it!

bullfrog's picture

why did it go down 1st? i've never thought about that aspect...

tyree's picture

well the radios were being monitored by the opperatives of that event and they intercepted that radio call from the fire chief on the floor where the fires were at , he said if you get me some fire crews up here fast we can put this fire out, a few minutes later it came down ,it had to ,or else!

bullfrog's picture

i remember reading that somewhere.

and was the whole thing run from building 7? might explain why that building had to come down, too.

i always wondered if maybe the 4th plane, the one that went down over pennsylvania, was intended for building 7, but that perhaps an air force pilot not with the program went up and shot it down.

i do remember seeing news video of rumsfeld accidentally referring to that plane as having been shot down.

tyree's picture

7 was the control center ,from the first set up for everything from guilinis command post office , and used to send the work crews from for the setup , the collapse was the coverup

bullfrog's picture

and unless i'm mistaken, building 7 wasa major spook hive, filled to the brim with all sorts of documents that needed destroyin'...

mudshark's picture

That stated that there was a debris field over 8 miles wide with regards to that plane that went down in Pennsylvania. I'm not going to make any conclusions yet. But this is very weird.

What is your conceptual, continuity?

tyree's picture

i watched that but all i saw was a hole in the ground little debree, i have never seen an aircraft crashed that thier was no debree close to the scene!

Amitola's picture

about 9/11 just a couple after. I'd previously read all of the PNAC docs, so I was suspicious. But, after perusing a lot of photos and videos and articles on the Inter-tubes, it's pretty evident to anyone with an open mind that elements of our own gov't made those buildings crash.

I really believe we will get to the truth and expose the whole thing sooner rather than later. I tell everyone I have conversations with about 9/11 and why they need to understand how/why that happened - it's the basis for everything that's gone down since - including the engineered collapse of our economy, which is currently underway. Call me crazy.....

we americans really better hurry up and take care of this, because the rest of the world is figuring it out, with or without us!

and if we do nothing, we'll be hated within the western world, much as israel is starting to be!

very sad!!

in reality if you were a terriorist wich would you choose to destroy completly? the white house, the house of congess, or two useless buildings , in ny ?

bullfrog's picture

well, i'm not really sure how terrorists think, ty.

maybe rahm emmanuel's dad would be better suited to field that question!

tyree's picture

wich would be missed more as time goes by ? if someones smart enough to set something like that up thier smart enough to see the history lost with the whitehouse and capitol hill destroyed, but especially the whitehouse!

bullfrog's picture

i was only kidding; just wanted to get a good rahm jab in there.

here's another: i heard rahm emmanuel personally wiretapped every room of the white house, from the bowling alley to the oval office, with a direct feed back to tel aviv, where mossad listens to the days events unfold, the way you or i might watch a reality show on teevee! ;o}

as for your theory on the 9/11 targets, i agree. a muslim fanatic would target the white house; government insiders would never let that happen!

tyree's picture

yes government must not be disrupted never never never!

that was the argument the British gave the colonials in 1775-6.

Obama's War
Liberal interventionism in the age of Obama
by Justin Raimondo

Illusions die hard. Especially the ideological kind. When the illusion of Barack Obama, the peacemaker, is finally dispelled, we are going to wake up and find ourselves waist-deep in a war that will soon threaten to dwarf the disastrous invasion of Iraq, both in human and material cost.

We know this from what he has said he will do, and what he has already done. He's already announced he's sending 17,000 more troops to Afghanistan, bringing the total to nearly 40,000. Not that this comes as any surprise: his entire critique of the Bushian foreign policy during the campaign was that we've been fighting the wrong war: that we had to get out of Iraq so we could occupy and pacify Afghanistan, and make a proper job of it. He advocated going into Pakistan, and outflanked the Republicans on the right.

Democrats attacked Republicans for underestimating the number of troops it would take to topple Saddam and set up a full-fledged, multi-year occupation, and there was that controversy over General Eric Shinseki, the former army chief of staff who resigned after contradicting the official administration estimate and testifying that we'd need at leas a couple of hundred thousand instead of Rumsfeld's fifty-thousand or so. The Democrats made Shinseki into a hero, but one wonders if they'll ask him about Afghanistan. He's liable to answer half a million.

important stuff. we better get busy on some serious "truthiness", especially regarding the lie that brought us to afghanistan in the 1st place.

i'm pretty hot and bothered myself; we just had another kid from my area lose his life in that clusterf*ck.

the majority of people unfortunately wont care until their power is shut off, and their supermarket shelves start running low.

i sometimes believe the only thing that will get americans off their fat, lazy @$$es would be if the walton family cut everybody off from their nachos, slushees and cheese dogs at wal-mart.

when is huffington post going to publish less badly photoshopped pics of pam anderson's boob, and more stories like this one:

I finally found some common ground with the GOP Washington elites: I have contempt for the Evangelicals too. (I also have contempt for the GOP Washington elites, so I guess one cancels out the other.)

EXCERPT FROM "WHEN GOD SPOKE TO ME" - Jacque Chirac had purportedly confessed to the journalist some personal remarks regarding the faith of George W. Bush that seemed quite daunting. He told the journalist that the latter called him twice beseeching him basically, in the name of their common “spiritual faith”, i.e., “Christianity”, to join the collective effort of the coalition being formed to wage a preemptive war against Iraq. In his first telephonic call he reportedly said to Jacque Chirac: “Gog and Magog are at work in the Middle East” and then added that “the biblical prophecies are being fulfilled”.
