I see how in the papers how the world powers are so shocked and afraid of Iran having nuclear capabilities. Iran has started how many wars in the last 300 years? Not a word is said about Israel having a stockpile of nukes that numbers in the hundreds. Or Pakistan or India. Israel has started how many wars in the last 30 years?
Oh but, Iran funds terrorist groups they say. Hamas and Hezbollah are bound and determined to wipe Israel of the face of the Earth. It seems that Israel is making good progress in wiping the Palestinians off the face of the Earth. According to the US any group that disagrees with their view of economics is a "terrorist group".
I've said it before, the real terrorist countries in this world are the US and Israel.
You sure have that right!!!! The Terror Coalition, the predators, the USofBLOODYISRAEL/BLOODYISRAEL the world's largest terror distributor, the war mongers of the world, the world's vacuum cleaners of wealth, resources, quality of life, war exporters, chaos spreding, scum of the Earth. Now, they have their 'boy' O-bought-ma himself, in person, having to go to the UN and appologize for the previous, junta's mis-administration. Sweet! This is what ChickenCheney/sockpuppet have done to Amerika, SEIG HEIL!!!!
... is one of the things I find most disgusting and telling about the US media. At least on WMD there was some aknowledgement of error (not nearly enough but some). But with Iran its taken as a fact that they have a nuclear weapons program when nothing of the kind has ever been proven and even US INTELLIGENCE (like the CIA) have said they don't. Yet the facts are completely irrelevant. And what pisses me off most is that even most people on the left, I think I've even heard Olbmerman and Maddow, take it for granted that Iran has a nuclear weapons program.

Dick Wolf's shows tend to shift to the left while Bruckheimer is a Gooper (granted, his shows don't generally reflect it; he was a hardcore McCain supporter).
A guard a Abu Ghraib is shot by a lawyer he sought out to help him get back some of his benefits denied upon his return to the States. The lawyer (had the role of a John Yoo, but looked like Alberto Gonzales--a twofer!) wrote the torture manual that resulted in the soldier's basically losing it and getting discharged. The lawyer pulls all sorts of tricks to avoid the charges, but McCoy decides to go after him and bushco as part of a conspiracy. Despite objections from the Justice Dept, the trial proceeds at the State level. A verdict is reached, and as it is about to be read, the Feds come in and nullify the whole procedure. Kinda expected the ending, but overall, the set-up was good and I really hoped for a verdict to be presented. Woth TIVO'ing or watching if you can.
Hope you're doing well...

Same here. I come in to read every day, but don't always post. I have a heap-o-shit to do getting settled in Prague. Now I have to search for an apartment.
I did get a job though, and have started working.
I don't post because US healthcare doesn't affect me, but it's "interesting" (??) to see these wingnuts in operation. And what can we say about FOX????? I don't watch those clips.
I'd sure vote for Spitzer, because he pissed off the WALLSTREETBANKSTERS with his unrelenting investigation of AIG!!! So, of course, he got the ax, and is still behind bars for the audacity of bucking WALLSTREETBANKSTERS.
No mention of Rush on Leno last night. A lousy interview full of bs. Jay was cordial but did take him to task on somethings he said.
The one thing that Rush said that echoed a concern of mine, is that a government run health care program, on a broad scale, could really restrict many of the liberties we take for granted in the name of "controlling costs"
He did not expand but to me it would be things like:
- Drug testing to receive medical insurance
- Penalties for obesity
- People may be forced to stop smoking tobacco
Now, private insurers are already doing these things, but if push comes to shove we have the freedom to not participate. but if participation becomes required, and there are no measures to stop the government from employing the "cost saving measures" then things could get ugly.
I wonder if this is ever a concern in the countries with socialized medicine? I could see it in England, but most other societies are more progressive.
It is the goal of the DEA to make tobacco illegal. This may sound insane, but it is illegal in many communities across the US. You aren't even allowed to smoke it in your home in some municipalities.
subsidize tobacco, which kills people, but makes pot, which doesn't kill people, illegal? How much money could the government save by not subsidizing tobacco? How much money could it make by legalizing pot and taxing it a bit?
"The US has an army of 90,000 soldiers in Afghanistan and is spending $100bn a year, but has still been unable to defeat 20,000-25,000 Taliban who receive no pay at all." - Patrick Cockburn
I mean I hate the evil government and all too but why can the government tax and control tobacco and not marijuana? They are pretty much plants right? I think it also has to do with various interests who didn't want marijuana and hemp to compete with them at certain points in history and on going dis-information about pot that exists to this day.
and it reminds me of the Marlboro's I used to smoke. They're pretty much smokin' and drinkin' the hard stuff for the entire show.
Oy.....
To think of those days back in the 70's....
Chevis Regal, Marlboro's and dates with the L.A.P.D. at The San Francisco Saloon on Pico after leaving my ICU shift at Century City Hospital at midnight.
What a great nurse I was then!
Ha!! (I quit smoking after two years of it).

after the interview he went out in a electric car and ran over our former vice president twice. Well, a cardboard of him on the track.
Lot of BS in that interview, and particular to the free market BS, but no public option.
Rush is correct tho that if we get Public option healthcare that if fall in the hands of the Republican, they will be deciding your freedom of your health. People will be force to stop smoking under the republican plan.
as an excuse to drop you off their plans, or put you in the "high risk" bracket where you have to pay through the eyeballs.
Also, most drug testing is carried out by private corporations. A lot of states have laws in which drug testing is not a condition for employment, many corporations make you pee in the cup before even grant you an interview.
So keep agreeing with Rush... or lay off whatever sh*t it is you are smoking... your call.
If we had 99 other Bernie Sanders in Congress we'd all probably be chillin' out right now...not that worried about the future.
But we don't have 99 other Bernie Sanders in Congress.
We have, pretty much, 99 other SNAKES in Congress, doing the bidding of multi-national corporations who don't give a rat's ass about the American People.
Which brings me to "The Public Option".
How many of the 65% of the American People who were polled and said they are for "The Public Option" have ANY IDEA WHAT SO EVER of what it actually would entail?
Seriously.
I have done a lot of research on the subject and the best I could come up with is this article I found over at Commondreams.org:
I beseech my fellow C&L'ers to read this article and then try to tell me that "The Public Option" (assuming there even may be one!!!) is "a good idea."
I appreciate everyone's comments.
"The US has an army of 90,000 soldiers in Afghanistan and is spending $100bn a year, but has still been unable to defeat 20,000-25,000 Taliban who receive no pay at all." - Patrick Cockburn
There is no public option yet, and may never be one. All that exists are possibilities. Many, many possibilities. How can anyone approve of something that doesn't exist?
I'm going to TRY to get the skivvy on "The Public Option" tomorrow at an Obama "Listening Tour" meeting in Northampton, Mass.
I'll report back with my findings....

It'll be an hour and 15 minutes driving for me out of Pittsfield....scenic of course...through the mountains....the trees....the leaves....picture taking hoo-hah.
I'll be the one shooting off her mouth about Single Payer and griping about the fines/penalties and asking, "WHAT IS IT EXACTLY THAT THE FOR-PROFIT INSURANCE CORPORATIONS ARE BRINGING TO THE TABLE TO PROMOTE HEALTH CARE FOR THE AMERICAN PEOPLE????!!!"

Bruce Dixon of Black Agenda Report, the article you linked at CommonDreams has articulated the matter of the "Public Option" better than anyone so far.
To begin with, there are no less than three versions of the public option. The first is an imaginary public option first conceived by Political Science grad student Jacob Hatcher in 2001. It was to postpone the death of private insurance companies by forcing them to compete with a publicly funded insurer open to all comers which would drive their prices downward. This imaginary public option has never been written into law, and is not under consideration in Congress this year. It lives pretty much in the minds of the public and the lips of the Congressional Progressive Caucus, MoveOn.Org and many others. It's in the mouth of Howard Dean, who says it will be just like Medicare, only available to everybody. To distinguish it from the President Obama's version, it is usually called "the robust public option."
The "robust public option" is in other words, the one THAT DOESN'T EXIST. We wish that it existed.
Then there is the one that does exist, unfortunately:
The second version of the public option is not imaginary, it is all too real. President Obama explicitly outlined its contours in his health care address earlier this month. Unlike the expansive and inclusive imaginary public option championed by MoveOn.Org, the president's public option will be stingy, means-tested, socially divisive, actuarially unsound and doomed to failure, unless its objective is simply to discredit the word "public" in the term "public option." The president has said it will be limited to 5% of the nation's population, those Americans too poor to afford the cheapest insurance available on his regulated "insurance exchanges" which won't be fully implemented anyway till 2013.
This is what I have been calling the FLIM FLAM Public Option.
Between these two is the one that we should be talking about which is HR 676.
Kudos to Bruce Dixon and thank Abbybwood for bringing it to us.
for highlighting the "finer points" of "The Public Option" for our friends here at C&L.
"The US has an army of 90,000 soldiers in Afghanistan and is spending $100bn a year, but has still been unable to defeat 20,000-25,000 Taliban who receive no pay at all." - Patrick Cockburn
Beyond the imaginary "robust public option" of MoveOn.Org, and the divisive, destructive public option of the president, there is a third public option, a very real one. It's HR 676, the Enhanced Medicare For All bill, sponsored by John Conyers and Dennis Kucinich. Unlike the mostly imaginary "robust public option" of MoveOn.Org, it actually exists and ordinary people can read and understand it. Unlike the president's public option, which does not take effect till 2013, a fact still ignored by most of the mainstream media, HR 676 can be put into effect almost immediately. The first Medicare back in 1965-66 took only eleven months to send out the first cards and pay the first medical bills. ..
And although the progressive caucus in Congress continues to wistfully describe its imaginary version of the public option as a line in the sand, it is neither lining up votes for a promised HR 676 floor vote, nor are they demanding that caucus members support amendments to let states to pursue their own versions of single payer in the near future.
...
I believe the author is wrong.
Days before the August recess Anthony Weiner proposed an amendment to HR 3200 that would have substituted HR 676 for the body of HR 3200. But Waxman asked him to withdraw the amendment saying Pelosi had promised to bring his proposal to the floor this fall.
Then just a couple of days ago Pelosi announced there will be a Public Option and that it would be modelled on Medicare, or perhaps would simply BE MediCare.
When will government of the people, by the politicians, for the corporations perish from this Earth?
"The US has an army of 90,000 soldiers in Afghanistan and is spending $100bn a year, but has still been unable to defeat 20,000-25,000 Taliban who receive no pay at all." - Patrick Cockburn
Pelosi is planning to include a government-run public option in the House version of the healthcare bill. She wants to model it on Medicare, with providers getting reimbursed on a scale pegged to Medicare rates.
I'd favor "MediCare For Everyone"; make it illegal for a for-profit insurance company to offer Basic Medical Coverage, and make Universal Coverage free for all - paid by taxes on the wealthy.
But the "MediCare E" (E for Everyone) Thom Hartmann proposes would be almost as good. Let people under 65 buy into MediCare.
In any case, MediCare already exists, and so it would be much easier to simply expand MediCare (whether as Universal Care or as a Public Option) instead of creating a whole new system.
Also note that Kucinich has proposed an amendment to HR 3200 that would allow individual states to have their own Single Payer plan.
When will government of the people, by the politicians, for the corporations perish from this Earth?
I have not trusted a word that has come out of her rotten/criminal mouth.
Take Obama at his own words. "The Public Option will cover 5% of the currently uninsured."
Keep your antennae up MountainMan23.
Come 2013 when "The Public Option" rubber meets the road, I believe you will be in for one helluva shock. Along with a lot of other Americans.
STICKER shock. Fines/penalties and, oh...."Sorry. You can't join "The Public Option". You're not QUALIFIED."
Call Pelosi's office. Ask her for the DETAILS.
"The US has an army of 90,000 soldiers in Afghanistan and is spending $100bn a year, but has still been unable to defeat 20,000-25,000 Taliban who receive no pay at all." - Patrick Cockburn
Because if he wants to keep his job he'll HAVE to back off.
It's called, "Going along to get along".
If he doesn't, he'll just be "Cynthia McKinney'd".

The Progressive Caucus will do its work until it comes time to vote, then Obama and Pelosi will sit them down and tell them what's what.
They'll be good little Democrats and vote the party line...They'll be some little quid pro quo for their districts to insure their re-elections....
Or else.
We'll see.
Again, I'm not being negative. Just a little cynical.
"The US has an army of 90,000 soldiers in Afghanistan and is spending $100bn a year, but has still been unable to defeat 20,000-25,000 Taliban who receive no pay at all." - Patrick Cockburn
I really like ya, Abbybwood, and I remember that before the NCAA hoops pool that I didn't really like you all that much because you were such an ardent Ron Paul supporter...So I've gotta ask just what it is that you expect from politicians, process, governance....I mean if you'd have had your way in '08, there would be no fucking way we'd even be having any conversation about public options, other than saying what a rat Paul is for promising to veto any health care reform bill.
Ron Paul was the only candidate (except Dennis Kucinich) who was running for POTUS and who was clearly for ending those military interventions and bringing all our troops home from the hundreds of bases we have around the world.
He was the only candidate who was explaining that any enemies of the U.S who might want to "terrorize" us would be to pay us back for what we had done to their countries and to their people.
It's called "Blowback" and when Ron Paul mentioned it at the debate McCain and Giulianni made a JOKE out of it.
The idiots they are. It was the CIA's report....NOT Ron Paul's.
I still support many of Ron Paul's legislative ideas, as does Dennis Kucinich. Auditing the Federal Reserve is a good one.
I fundamentally disagree with his Libertarian philosophy, as I believe health care should be treated the same as other primary public functions in society: police, fire, post office, street/highway maintainance, public schools and colleges. libraries, parks, etc.
"The US has an army of 90,000 soldiers in Afghanistan and is spending $100bn a year, but has still been unable to defeat 20,000-25,000 Taliban who receive no pay at all." - Patrick Cockburn
vote down a bill without a public option, and he would not give a "yes" or "no" answer. He equivocated. A clear sign of holding out for more money. I think it was on Rachel's show.
not quite so constrained as SD. Factor that in before you have him caving. Rangel will cave, maybe already has. he's about ready to move to his villa in St Maarten. Not Weiner.
I just wish he had answered the question directly, one way or the other. He gave a "maybe," which is a "no" because it isn't a "yes." Learned that from my favorite professor.
if he ever does, he is kind of beholden to the big dogs for support. He could be legit. I certainly hope so, but I have been disappointed so many times, I am really gun-shy.
There ARE more people like Bernie Sanders in American politics.
They're just not running for public office....
Yet.
How about YOU?????

Guy who built Gitmo facility says we lost the moral high ground. The Repugs tried to block the appointment of Kennedy's successor. Afghanistan-based commander needs more targets, er, troops. The Guvernator will still screw parks, but just not shut them down. If Susan Atkins was a Republican, would she simply be "misunderstood"? The census worker killing resembles a Klan-style hit. Small businesses feel the stimulation in the stimulus. China celebrates its anniversary by refusing to let tourists visit Tibet. Walmart doesn't care about history. Public schools around the country suffer from toxic water. Gun nuts are arming themselves to the point that manufacturers are running out of bullets. Antidepressants might be bad for pregnant women. Does spanking eff up the IQs of children? Johnson + Johnson is forced to recall children's Tylenol products. Hope in the fight against AIDS? GITMO may stay open past January. Meanwhile, a judge tears into our "evidence" used against a Kuwaiti detainee. Bush-style affirmative action, the anti-Zionist edition.
Uninsured 22-Year-Old Boehner Constituent Dies From Swine Flu
hjnyoungkimberly09-_568332bA 22-year-old woman from Oxford, Ohio, died from swine flu on Wednesday. Kimberly Young graduated from Miami University in December and continued to live in Oxford, Ohio, within Minority Leader John Boehner’s congressional distrct. Reports now indicate that after initially getting sick, Young put off treatment because she was uninsured:
Young became ill about two weeks ago, but didn’t seek care initially because she didn’t have health insurance and was worried about the cost, according to Brent Mowery, her friend and former roommate. […]
On Tuesday, Sept. 22, Young’s condition suddenly worsened and her roommate drove her to McCullough Hyde Memorial Hospital in Oxford, where she was flown in critical condition to University Hospital in Cincinnati.
“That’s the most tragic part about it. If she had insurance, she would have gone to the doctor,” Mowery said."
Thank you so much TheThinkerWhoNe... for bringing this to our attention.
This make me ashamed to admit I am an American.
The American people deserve far better than this.
Sadly, to the members of Congress and to Obama, she will just be another "statistic" for them to IGNORE while their contributors make more and more obscene profits.

Kimberly Young of Oxford, Ohio, d ied Wednesday morning a few days short of her 23rd birthday. Hospital officials have said she appeared to have the H1N1 virus, also known as swine flu.
But here's why Young's death is news beyond her southwest Ohio community: people who knew her are saying she resisted treatment that could have saved her life -- because she didn't have health insurance.
And adding to the political resonance: Young's member of Congress is Rep. John Boehner, who as the House Republican leader has led the effort against reform. http://tpmlivewire.talkingpointsmemo.com/2009...
So the fact that your country has invaded a dozen or so other countries, funded coups, fomented coups, propped up dictators, funded "freedom fighters", killed millions of people the world over and promises to kill more, doesn't make you ashamed to be American? One person dies because she doesn't have health insurance and that's the tipping point? Wow!
When I heard Bernie Sanders was finally running for the senate
I sent him some money without question. Wasn't even my state.
We had hillary in NY. She goes to state & doesn't even think to
find someone capable to replace her, so we wind up with a
republican posing as a mocrat. Obama gets elected and
sure as hell no one knows who is, or isn't filling his seat.

The problem are the INDIVIDUAL PEOPLE who run these corporations, and the mentality of the people they exploit that supports their position in society.
Remove these people and smash the class structure, and build a society of a radically different type - that will get you there, eventually.
The Soviets failed because they valued the elite over the masses: the party will bring the masses to the new promised land.
The Chinese failed because they traded their Leninist elite for a post-Maoist junta who were bent on conformance rather than transformation (typically Chinese).
Of course, what it eventually comes down to is responding in kind to the douchebags in Kentucky who killed that Census worker. That of course won't happen until the redneck retards are backed up against the wall by their blind obedience to the political economy's status quo and the liberal left are so immiserated by the banking system destroying their wealth, that the two forces are forced into competition over the same resources, pushing them into mortal conflict.
In such a scenario, the redneck retards will win because they are better marksmen - people who live by the sword get shot by people who don't.
But that won't happen for a while [Deleted. Knock off the abuse-Sitemonitor] It's not going to matter.

This song was released on november 10, 1998. I never really listened to the lyrics. Some of it was just not clear enough, until you read the damn song. And boy, does it open the eyes. In one of the verses it clearly said that the Health insurance scam is there and that the banks and FDA are threats.
"Health insurance, rip-off lying
FDA, big bankers buying
Fake computer crashes dining
Cloning while they're multiplying
Fashion shoots with Beck and Hanson,
Courtney Love and Marilyn Manson
You're all fakes, run to your mansions
Come around, we'll kick your ass in."
Ladies and gentlemen, Greg Alexander wrote this in 1998!!
Just another tune, upbeat, uplifting but no one saw the message in the lines....
So the government works for the corporations and corporations looking out for themselves. Who's looking out for the interests of the citizens? Just sayin.
Beck doesn't think before he talks. He just spits out whatever pops into that pea brain. He will literally contradict himself in the same sound bite (Obama has displayed an ongoing hatred of white people, ... I'm not saying Obama hates white people) The sad thing is that people like Time treat him seriously when he's just a fool.

Dick Wolf's shows tend to shift to the left while Bruckheimer is a Gooper (granted, his shows don't generally reflect it; he was a hardcore McCain supporter).
about Bruckheimer? I like his work, but when I see him I get goose bumps. Not the good kind, either.
I was shocked at how young he is. And I got a bit of the creep factor, too, much like when I see Gary Sinese, another Gooper lover.
1945. Not that young. He's 64
me-oww!
No wonder he gives off creep vibes. Ick, ick, ick.
I guess I pictured him in the Aaron Spelling older-than-dirt vein. :-)

On the same Issues Bernie speaks about:

Go Bernie!
"- People may be forced to stop smoking tobacco"
Good luck with taking my fags away! From my dead hands!

It is the goal of the DEA to make tobacco illegal. This may sound insane, but it is illegal in many communities across the US. You aren't even allowed to smoke it in your home in some municipalities.
Thank goodness fags are not illegal.
Oh wait! They are!
Fags aren't illegal.
We just can't get married (in most states).

:)
subsidize tobacco, which kills people, but makes pot, which doesn't kill people, illegal? How much money could the government save by not subsidizing tobacco? How much money could it make by legalizing pot and taxing it a bit?
Stop asking such pertinent questions!!!
It just muddies the conversation!!
Jeeshh!
"The US has an army of 90,000 soldiers in Afghanistan and is spending $100bn a year, but has still been unable to defeat 20,000-25,000 Taliban who receive no pay at all." - Patrick Cockburn
Have you noticed?
The reason ALCOHOL, TOBACCO AND FIREARMS are LEGAL and marijuana ISN'T?
Here's how it works:
The government CONTROLS WHO MAKES IT.
The government CONTROLS WHO DISTRIBUTES IT.
The government CONTROLS WHO SELLS IT.
That's why they TAX IT.
The government CAN'T do any of that with marijuana.
Since the government ISN'T MAKING MONEY FROM IT....IT'S ILLEGAL.
That's the key.
A bit simplistic, perhaps. But that's the core of it.
I mean I hate the evil government and all too but why can the government tax and control tobacco and not marijuana? They are pretty much plants right? I think it also has to do with various interests who didn't want marijuana and hemp to compete with them at certain points in history and on going dis-information about pot that exists to this day.
IMHO it's quite simple-it's an income that's NOT
taxed! Why would those profiting from it want that to change????

If we had 99 other Bernie Sanders in Congress we'd all probably be chillin' out right now...not that worried about the future.
But we don't have 99 other Bernie Sanders in Congress.
We have, pretty much, 99 other SNAKES in Congress, doing the bidding of multi-national corporations who don't give a rat's ass about the American People.
Which brings me to "The Public Option".
How many of the 65% of the American People who were polled and said they are for "The Public Option" have ANY IDEA WHAT SO EVER of what it actually would entail?
Seriously.
I have done a lot of research on the subject and the best I could come up with is this article I found over at Commondreams.org:
http://www.commondreams.org/view/2009/09/24-11
I beseech my fellow C&L'ers to read this article and then try to tell me that "The Public Option" (assuming there even may be one!!!) is "a good idea."
I appreciate everyone's comments.

Bruce Dixon of Black Agenda Report, the article you linked at CommonDreams has articulated the matter of the "Public Option" better than anyone so far.
The "robust public option" is in other words, the one THAT DOESN'T EXIST. We wish that it existed.
Then there is the one that does exist, unfortunately:
This is what I have been calling the FLIM FLAM Public Option.
Between these two is the one that we should be talking about which is HR 676.
Kudos to Bruce Dixon and thank Abbybwood for bringing it to us.
statusquObama, change you can only pretend in
them exist in current reality. Those are just the best articulated examples to me.
for highlighting the "finer points" of "The Public Option" for our friends here at C&L.
"The US has an army of 90,000 soldiers in Afghanistan and is spending $100bn a year, but has still been unable to defeat 20,000-25,000 Taliban who receive no pay at all." - Patrick Cockburn
From the "Black Agenda Report" article you quote:
I believe the author is wrong.
Days before the August recess Anthony Weiner proposed an amendment to HR 3200 that would have substituted HR 676 for the body of HR 3200. But Waxman asked him to withdraw the amendment saying Pelosi had promised to bring his proposal to the floor this fall.
Then just a couple of days ago Pelosi announced there will be a Public Option and that it would be modelled on Medicare, or perhaps would simply BE MediCare.
When will government of the people, by the politicians, for the corporations perish from this Earth?
Not soon enough!
Careful of that Kool-aid Nancy's pourin'.
It might make you SICK.
"The US has an army of 90,000 soldiers in Afghanistan and is spending $100bn a year, but has still been unable to defeat 20,000-25,000 Taliban who receive no pay at all." - Patrick Cockburn
Here's the link to the C&L post where I read about Pelosi's recent statement:
Good! Pelosi Nixes Agreement With Blue Dogs, Pegs Public Option to Medicare
Not soon enough!
"Off the Table"...

Don't try to confuse the issue with half-truths and gorilla dust.
and the CIA's assessment of "Blowback".
I fundamentally disagree with his Libertarian philosophy, as I believe health care should be treated the same as other primary public functions in society: police, fire, post office, street/highway maintainance, public schools and colleges. libraries, parks, etc.

vote down a bill without a public option, and he would not give a "yes" or "no" answer. He equivocated. A clear sign of holding out for more money. I think it was on Rachel's show.
not quite so constrained as SD. Factor that in before you have him caving. Rangel will cave, maybe already has. he's about ready to move to his villa in St Maarten. Not Weiner.

I want to see and hear Boehner's response to the sad news of Ms Young's unnecessary and tragic demise.
I'm not holding my breath, though. There are no 'journalists' in the MSM who would ever ask him about it in the first place.
Disgraceful.
Wow!

Gangsters/Banksters, yep! Amerikan 'investments' as in 'kill them all' that's what the PUKIES support. O-bought-ma, Geither, Paulson, Lehman Bro., AIG, who could be surprised to see the 'Health Care' mafia owned by WALLSTREETBANKSTERS????
Tell it ....YELL it....Go Bernie!
Cue the Kabuki....
It's called the American Dream because you have to be asleep to believe it.

You know the song: "You get what you give."
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=91WgM6dNLTE
This song was released on november 10, 1998. I never really listened to the lyrics. Some of it was just not clear enough, until you read the damn song. And boy, does it open the eyes. In one of the verses it clearly said that the Health insurance scam is there and that the banks and FDA are threats.
"Health insurance, rip-off lying
FDA, big bankers buying
Fake computer crashes dining
Cloning while they're multiplying
Fashion shoots with Beck and Hanson,
Courtney Love and Marilyn Manson
You're all fakes, run to your mansions
Come around, we'll kick your ass in."
Ladies and gentlemen, Greg Alexander wrote this in 1998!!
Just another tune, upbeat, uplifting but no one saw the message in the lines....

As seen on CNN. Pretty interesting.

So the government works for the corporations and corporations looking out for themselves. Who's looking out for the interests of the citizens? Just sayin.
Beck Refuses To Define What He Meant By The Phrase ‘White Culture’: ‘Ummmmm, I Don’t Know’
Just the youtube
This is very very strange. But it is Beck so it should be expected.
Thanks for posting.
