Mary Matalin, or should I say Lady MacCheney defends the vicious McCain crowd reactions to Obama by using the Bill Ayers defense. Colmes did a good job of attacking the hate filled Republican party.

Colmes: Someone yelled out "terrorist." At a Palin rally someone yelled out "kill em."

She refuses to answer the question of course. Then Hannity goes through his litany of Obama smears including Rev. Wright which has been the one name surprisingly missing from McCain's lips. I have a feeling this will be unveiled soon since Hannity played a clip of him Friday night. Usually it takes 36 hours before a Hannity's talking point is made into a McCain ad.

So because Obama knew Bill Ayers it completely justifies the psychotic reactions of McCain supporters. I'll keep saying this. Our country has been polluted by the Limabaugh, Savage, Hannity hate machine for years now and it's rearing its ugly head publicly for all to see. I'm telling you, violence it not far behind "my friends." Matalin wouldn't go as far as Sean when he stated that he didn't trust Obama.

Hannity: I don't trust him. I don't think he's being honest. Do you think he's honest?

Matalin: I, I , I don't really don't want to answer that. I think it's legitimate to ask, what has he done, who is he. I don't question his motives or really his honesty. I just don't think he has the attributes to be a leader at this point in our history.

And McCain does have the attributes to be a leader because?...

UPDATE: (SilentPatriot) NPR has an interview with McCain strategist (and Rove protege) Steve Schmidt in which he says that the issue of Rev. Wright will not be raised. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

Aren't the boosh's compadres of the Ben Laden family?

the Bin Laden family is, to my knowledge, the second most powerful family in Saudi Arabia, after the royal family itself, controlling pretty much all large scale construction, and a host of other businesses. Doubt you can do much business there without actually cooperating in some way with them.

Anais's picture

Right after 9/11, the Bushes had members of the bin Laden family flown out of the country. So can't the Bush family be said to "pal around with terrorists?" And a longtime McCain associate and "pal,"Charles Keating, who wrecked the savings of widows with his savings and loan scandal, wrote that he would be McCain's "until death do us part." Downright strange.

whose son wasted a perfectly good chance to pre-empt much of this when he took too little gun with him to shoot Raygun...

I'd be the first one in line to bash on Reagan's policies (and the Repubs in general), but let's not sound like the meatheads that have made themselves famous by saying vile things about Senator/soon=-to-be-President Obama.

We're above that and that klind of talk does nothing to benefit us.

yes they have been and are, why do you think we have not found their boy. Besides, they are both making tons through the Carlyle Group on the war.

Having to listen to Mary Matalin curls my toe nails. Giving her air time on this site is just wrong.

That was what I was going to say. So the Bush family are terrorists too... Well, they are, but being friends and buddy buddies with the Bin Ladens makes that case even stronger according to what Palin is smearing.

I would take Ayers over the likes of Matalin, Malkin et al 10 times out of 10.

He and McStain, though some years--and most of a generation--apart chronologically, were/are different sides of the same coin.

Both were born to privilege and power. Bombin Johnnie followed in the family bidness--killing (mainly brown) people--while Ayers, a little later, saw not only the folly but also the criminality of it, and in that criminality the 'ethical' warrant to fight fire with fire...whereas Bombin John rationalizes his baby-killing sortees as battling commies...

The same instinct, directed differently...g'won choose...

The right won't be able to continue their "Obama is an evil Muslim Arab" meme if they spend time on Wright and then it will open a whole can of worms as to the whacko "christian" church that Palin is affiliated with.

If they start flogging the Wright story again, that would have to go down as one of the all-time dumbass political moves in history. They're just now on the heels of trying their Ayers smear, which went over like a 40,000 lb lead baloon... and they're gonna turn around and try the exact same thing again with a new face? Not only that, they've ALREADY trumpeted Wright... and it did nothing of any consequence to Obama other than kill off a few news cycles.

So, basically, knock yourself out McCain. Afterall, it's not like you have anything else to talk about... and it's not like anything else of importance is happening in this country that your potential supporters might want to hear your opinion on.

If Hannity wants to play "guilt be association", then one would have to conclude that Hannity is an obvious racist, evidenced by his close friendships with both Andy Martin and Neo-Nazi/White Supremacist Hal Turner, not to mention the fact that he calls anti-Islam, anti-Catholic, anti-semitic and homophobic Jerome Corsi a "friend".

Turner was quoted as saying "Suffice it to say that my recollection is that when Sean and I spoke by phone, while no one else was listening, he and I exchanged the kinds of views that most White, Irish-Catholic guys hold, but wont speak in public."

So, since Hannity and Turner are friends, wouldn't "palling around" with a guy who says (on Dec. 6th, 2006) "We may have to ASSASSINATE some of the people you elect on Nov. 7! This could be your LAST ELECTION CHANCE, to save this Republic... Sorry to have to be so blunt, but the country is in mortal danger from our present government and our liberty is already near dead because of this government. If you are too stupid to turn things around with your vote, there are people out here like me who are willing to turn things around with guns, force and violence" be considered "associating with Domestic Terrorists"??

via his association with WorldNet Daily, so you can't really call him a racist, can you? I mean, Sasquatch/Yeti ain't exactly human.

Austin Avery's picture

There is mental condition that we need to name. I'll take a stab at it. Let's call it "Hannity Insanity."

This mental illness causes you to overlook all issues in a presidential campaign except one non-issue that has emotional appeal, and then to wildly exaggerate--or in many cases simply make up--the facts relevant to that one non-issue.

The condition is also characterized by hypocrisy--so that if a friend of yours is unrepentant about waving a gun around on stage and shouting "ride this Hillary, you bitch" (which is really a very sick rape reference), you see that as no reflection upon you for being friends with this person (i.e., Ted Nugent). In fact, were someone to claim that you and this Nugent were "sitting around for 10 years joking about raping women with guns" you'd be livid with outrage because there are no facts to back up that claim, just innuendo. But that does not stop you from claiming that "Obama sat for 20 years in that church listing to those hateful sermons" based upon no facts, just innuendo.

Dont'cha mean stake?

Besides which there is no indication in legends that pulling a stake from a vampire's heart would work to revive him, although there was no guarantee that a stake would work at all.

I remember reading of a legend where a vampire had a stake driven thorugh his heart by some villagers, and he thanked them for the nice post to fight off the wild dogs during the night.

Presumably the first known case of, "Thank you sir, may I have another?"

Hannity here's a question for you:
At premierespeakers.com/sean_hannity/bio they reported that you raised $10,000,000 from your 5 "Freedom Concerts" last year (2007) then donating it to "Freedom Alliance!" This was possible because every concert goer paid $166.66 to your 5 concerts! $10,000,000 divided by 60,000 equals $166.66 per concert goer! Wow!!
That's really great, but there is a slight problem with your donation of $10,000,000! There's no record of you, or anyone else donating $10,000,000 to Freedom Alliance in the Tax Year of 2007!
However if you go to: Part VII ""Analysis of Income-Producing Activities Line" 93 a "Program service revenue" there's only $16,636 reported, and that was for "Book Sales"! By the way, that amount is half of what Freedom Alliance sold in the Tax Report 990 for 2006!
Will you produce a canceled check, or ask for a audit of Freedom Alliance Tax Form 990 for '07, cause your donation never made it into Freedom Alliances Tax Report 990, for 2007!
Sean, it's time to "Show Me The Money!"

So far what do we know about hannity? It appears he's an anti-semite, he thinks that the following are all terrorists: Stanley Ikenberry, former president of the University of Illinois; Arnold Weber, former president of Northwestern University and assistant secretary of labor in the Nixon administration; Scott Smith, then publisher of the Chicago Tribune; venture capitalist Edward Bottum; John McCarter, president of the Field Museum; Patricia Albjerg Graham, former dean of the Harvard University Graduate School of Journalism, and who are all good buddies with that terrorist Ayers.
We know that hannity is no friend of the troops because he supports mccain who has voted against something as elemental as body armor, a decent education package and health care for the troops.
I'm wondering what else is there to know about him, is hannity a pedophile? He openly and willingly admits that he's a Catholic, an organization that protects it's members who are pedophiles. I mean if he's going to associate with members of that organization where does it end? I think someone should be looking into that, to ensure his own kids are not at risk. I don't think he's a pedophile, but his associations make it a concern that shouldn't be overlooked.

On Sunday morning, July 27, 2008, Jim Adkisson entered the Unitarian Universalist church in my hometown in TN, during a children's musical performance, pulled a shotgun from a guitar case he brought with him, and began shooting those in attendance. Two people were killed and numerous others severely injured before Adkisson was taken down by several heroes. Dozens of children were brutally traumatized - many were spatterd with blood. Mr. Adkisson, it was soon revealed, was motivated to kill Unitarians by his hatred of liberals and his anger over "what liberals are doing to this country." He was a reader of O'Reilly and Hannity, and a regular listener of our local "NewsTalk" Radio station, WNOX, which spews a constant stream, around the clock, of Boortz, Limbaugh, Hannity, Levin, and others, including local right wing wanna-bes who are respected celebrities around here. In the days following the shooting, on WNOX's call-in programs, callers expressed horror at what had happened and sympathy for the victims; but many MANY said things like, "I don't condone what the man did, of course, but you know, a man can only take so much."
