Limbaugh Goes Full-On Racist During Rant About School Bus Beating
By Logan Murphy Wednesday Sep 16, 2009 7:00am(audio courtesy of Media Matters)
Rush Limbaugh has never hidden his bigoted beliefs, and on Tuesday he went on a racist rant about a highly disturbing incident on a school bus where a black student attacked a white student while other children cheered on. As Ben Frumin at TPM puts it, Limbaugh acts as though this is all the fault of President Obama:
Rush Limbaugh weighed in today on this video of a 17-year-old white Illinois student beaten up by two black classmates. Shockingly, his analysis doesn't reveal an even-handed understanding of our country's complicated racial history. In fact, not only does Limbaugh imply that this high school scuffle is racially-motivated -- but that somehow, it's the fault of President Obama.
"In Obama's America, the white kids now get beat up with the black kids cheering, 'Yay, right on, right on, right on, right on," Limbaugh said. I wonder if Obama's going to come to come to the defense of the assailants the way he did his friend Skip Gates up there at Harvard." Read on...
At some point, the hatred coming from the right and their mouthpieces on the radio will hit critical mass in this country. I'm all for free speech, but entertainers like Rush and Glenn Beck are walking perilously close to "yelling fire in a movie theater."

This is just confirmation of the obvious.
Rush doesn't like black people, brown people, or anyone who is not full caucasian. His playing 'Barack The Magic Negro' should have been the most obvious recent sign of his racial hatred of black people..
Was he taking that Viagra for his hand?
dump liquor all over his hand to get it drunk first.
*plays rimshot*. Good one!
}:)>
...and Kanye West too - he's also a a racist pig.
What a bad week for bigots.
..was the song parody of "I have friends in high places" sung by a rush impersonator: I have friends with white faces. A definitive shot at his racism from Imus. Imus had his own racial issues but not before that parody came out.
Add women to the list of people Rush doesn't like, too.
In fact we could probably add and add until we came down to only one person on the list of folks who are okay by Rush.
Rush. And probably not even him, come to think of it.
Rush is a severely obese man who is a rabid bigot-
His unfortunate X's have attested to his disgusting appearance and personality, and his less than stellar ability as a lover..
So, the female company he keeps are from your local escort service...
His hatred of women comes from his anger at their rejection of him- They rejected him, so he rejects them....
...although there might be "mom issues" as well.
Carrying some extra pounds isn't necessarily a deal-breaker, but throw in that personality and you have a recipe for divorce!
BTW, am a huge fan of Mystery Science Theatre!
Lickballs is a total pig that I refuse to listen to... sure I read what he said and it is appalling. For those out there who thought racism was FINALLY OVER... rush and those who follow him are proof positive that it still lives in this so-called land of equal opportunity.
Faustian bargain . . in case it's not obvious by now.
Limbaugh clearly prefers the other America, the one where the black kids were beaten and lynched with white people cheering and picnicking, the cops looking the other way, and juries refusing to convict.
becky and their ilk all say they want back.
From today's "Texas Day by Day":
http://www.tshaonline.org/daybyday/09-16-003....
The KKK took over the Democratic party here in the 1920's. That's what they all want back. I'm using this (and other historical tidbits) in the children's historical novel I'm writing about the Tulsa Race Riot. Any information, or dialogue, is welcome.
Heck, I wanna read it.
I know next to nothing about the Tulsa Race Riot I'm afraid.
He was five when it happened. He didn't remember anything about it except him mother hustling him out of the house (which is odd, considering five-year-olds are so aware). He became a professor at NYC's City College. I met him about seven years ago--he was quite old, living with his wife, and seemed to have had a nice life, thanks. Barring that incident when the white folks tried to kill him and all his neighbors.
Could we expect anything less from Rush?
I saw the video of those kids and it was really disgusting. Now, Rush is the one making light of this violent, disturbing situation.
And he has hijacked the debate entirely. The, we have to take sides mentality has emerged. Limbaugh is using this attack for politically gain but that does not mean that there aren't legitimate issues to discuss.
about the Gates case, even at a point when none had a clear understanding of all the facts involved? What is he going to say now, if asked, about the bus beating incident?
However twisted, Limbaugh's 'logic' is only honouring the stupidity of whoever it was who didn't do his/her job and didn't ask Obama, when the Gates incident came up, to shut the f up and simply respond to any questions about it: 'there is an investigation in course and I will refrain from any uninformed comments until such investigation produces its conclusions'.
Which is exactly what he and anyone with a political brain should say if asked about this bus beating incident. Only that if he does say that, it will sound hollow, given his more sanguine reaction to the Gates incident.
Sorry, but off the cuff comments have consequences. Particularly if someone of the moral stature -or lack thereof- of Rush does have the audience and impact that he has. Only in Amurika.
This is the moral equivalent of filling our airwaves with gasoline, and then distributing lighters.
As if Obama is going to say how stupid the white guy was for riding the bus with the black guys. I mean WTF?
This has nothing to do with the Gates incident. Nothing! Limbaugh is fanning hatred and if you can't admit it then you are just like him. The likes of Limbaugh and Beck and Hannity are working very hard at causing a race war and/or getting Obama assassinated. It is so very disgusting. These people have no shame.
that led to this kid getting the ever-loving shit kicked out of him to the rest of the busload's delight?
Do you guys honestly believe that you're not fanning the same flames?
why this kid got beat up?
Did he drop the "N" bomb?
Was he just an asshole?
Maybe he was innocent of anything.
We don't know do we?
So until we do know...it's all just speculation.
And I absolutely believe there's a friggin HUUUGE difference, in what we're doin and what limbaugh, beck, and the other propagandists are doin...oh yeah
...for a kid getting beaten up on a schoolbus.
no excuse at all.
..but it happens doesn't it? I'm not condoning it having had to defend against the schoolyard bullies in the past but it happened 50 years ago, it happened yesterday and its been happening since the first schools opened.
my friend.
beating up someone on a bus? Really? What if the kid was threatening someone with a knife? Maybe in a perfect world I would agree with you, but in the real world you sometimes have to fight fire with fire.
That being said, it's not clear what, (if anything) the kid who was beaten did, but that doesn't stop Ole Rushie from inferring it was racially motivated, and then taking that logic-lacking turd-nugget of a thought and using it to launch deeper into the realm of absurdity.
No no no, it's all Obama's fault. why can't you understand that?
(/SNARK)
in this somehow!
I admire you reluctance to jump the gun.
This time.
*rolls eyes*
that means exactly nothing to me.
How hesitant were you to lay any blame on Seargeant Crowley till you knew all the facts, or label him a racist?
I honestly don't know the answer to that, but I can check after you answer.
again...NOTHING.
If memory serves, I think I said they both had chips on their shoulders.
Both were at fault.
And did you notice that most of your speculation, has the victim being responsible for being attacked. You are demonstrating a clear bias.
?
Your comment is just as ridiculous as Limbaugh's. Throw it onto Obama. Divert the discussion.
HOW DID THIS FAT FU-K NOT GO TO JAIL!!! he was a damn drug addict who lied and cheated to obtain his prescriptions. If he were black he'd be rotting in prison right now.
This didn't happen:
http://www.ajc.com/news/clayton/army-reservis...
All those people just stood there and watched a black reservist get beaten by some white Dog looking dude at a 'Cracker' Barrel and didn't help.
just will not cover up a red neck .
What a fuckin pussy!
was met with a "comment deleted" and I even apologized to my feline friends.
I made a comment on another thread about how the world would be better off if a certain "entertainer" on faux noiz offed himself, and that comment was deleted.
No argument from me, it was over the top.
But another poster said basically the same thing, just in a nicer, more subtle way...and no deletion.
I still prefer C&L to any other blog I've tried...especially huffpo.
99% of my comments never make it through moderation.
So I said to hell with it.
We can give example after example of racial violence committed against one particular group or another. Regardless of who does it, its wrong.
Limbaugh doesn't care what happens to black people and frankly he wouldn't normally care about what happened to that white kid. He found this kid's story politically expedient. I honestly don't think he cares about anybody, black or white, and certainly not the poor. And definitely not women. That man hates women most of all.
Nailed it Macktastic!
that's limpballs to a "T"
Ummm...Gates was the one whomped on.
What an ignoranus.
This video is bullshit.
This stuff happens. I was in a similar incident on a bus in junior high, except I was white, so was the other guy in the fight, and so were the kids cheering it on in the bus because they like to watch fights.
This is human nature in action, not racism. But it plays great for media and talking heads and will become a much bigger incident than it really is.
For Christ sake the kid does not even look like he is hurt that bad.
Limbaugh and the others are WAY beyond yelling "Fire." They're the ones with the matches. They must be isolated and stopped. Advertisers must be warned and networks must be alerted. This wasn't accepted or popular in the 60's; it damn sure is unacceptable now...
I have with all of the racial issues is this:
To many people on the left, some of my friends are very liberal and just because I personally oppose President Obama on issues they believe it is racially motivated...seriously, you can't question your government anymore?..... is this really rationale thinking? You cannot oppose someones point of view now because you will be considered a racist? Really?
Now Logan, addressing you as the poster, do you personally believe this incident was racial? You say it is "highly disturbing" so was it racial? Furthermore, by running a story that YOU personally feel is racial in nature, you yourself sir are stirring the proverbial pot and increasing the critical mass.
Here's the problem, by President Obama inserting himself into the Gates case, he has opened himself up to form an opinion about every single incident that will happen throughout his presidency which the media will call him out on.
is precisely what I was trying to point out before but sadly Kangaroo took it as some affirmation of what Limbaugh said.
labaroa I understand what you are saying but what Obama said (and I agree he should have stayed out of it) but what Obama said does not give Limbaugh and Beck and any of the other sons of bitches a green light to ramp up the race hatred like they are doing.
but precisely because the likes of Beck and Rush are what they are, I expect little from them. From Obama, I expect common sense. He and his people did not show a lot of common sense when the Gates incident. They did so knowing what kind of trash do Americans can get on their radios and media. Beck and Rush took the opportunity. That's what they do. It's setting the precedent of speaking without facts in hand what I resent, and any potus should be above that. That's what I resent.
You are correct on the Gates subject. It's too bad that Obama said what he said about that but I can't imagine what it would be like to have to filter out EVERYTHING you say because everything you say will be used against you. What an impossible situation. It sure would be nice to hear what somebody like Obama thinks about a lot of stuff but he can't let us know because no matter what he says it will come back to haunt him. No matter what he says. I'm waiting for the blow back from what he said about the idiot who went up on stage during the music award deal. And you or anybody else should not give the likes of Limbaugh a pass on what he is saying and doing just because Obama said what the police did to Gates was stupid.
"The police acted stupidly." I had this argument with my brother-in-law.
The wingnuts expect PERFECTION from a president.
Like the performance that we got from George W Bush.
it should be taken into account that the men are personal friends. They have known each other since Obama was at Harvard.
Would you remain silent if such a thing happened to your friend? Especially if you were POTUS with the means to speak out readily available. Human nature.
get your opinions across to your friends, maybe they know you better than what you are willing to admit.
i wasn't talking nor there were friends.
whatyoutalkin'about ron?
oh i see. you weren't even addressing my comment! lmao!
how to follow a thread?
and non patronizing.
Remember when you John declared that us black folk only voted for Obama because he's black?
You're just another disingenuous lying white hypocrite....like Wilson.
off topic again I see Ron and leftandleft.... this is not about me
With your history you should have taken a pass on this one.
you wish to have a civil debate about race in the country and the hypocrisy I will be more than happy to oblige you L&L but atm you are derailing the topic at hand.
I'm an old white man and I voted for PRESIDENT Obama because he was educated, smart, and the best man for the job.
I figured that he was good for all people because he is half black AND half white.
I still believe he's bast bcause he is fighting for all Americans.
..his race never mattered! His intelligence and passion did.
And President Obama knows that I want him to lead this country to health care for everyone through a Public Option and any bill without one isn't a good bill AND a Special Prosecutor to arrest and try w and his band of war criminals. No racial issues involved.
Do you seriously think that in this rant, Limbaugh is "questioning the government?" Are you that monumentally gullible or stupid? Read, learn ... then open your mouth ...
Renman, Rush is not questioning the government, think about my last statement before typing, seriously.
"To many people on the left, some of my friends are very liberal and just because I personally oppose President Obama on issues they believe it is racially motivated...seriously, you can't question your government anymore?..... is this really rationale thinking? You cannot oppose someones point of view now because you will be considered a racist? Really?"
And ....?
your not getting it.... Rush is questioning the President and because the President came out on the gates debacle, he will continue to get called out on future ones.
And Limbaugh played 'Barack The Magic Negro' way before Obama said anything about Gates.
I'm still not getting it. Any time Obama is asked about anything that happened to have happened in the country last week that he wasn't there to witness, he'll just be one guy talking about incidents he wasn't there to witness.
What does that have to do with the idea that questioning Obama always gets you branded a racist? And how is saying that Obama's America is a place where black kids beat up white kids while other black kids cheer a serious criticism of the government? I don't think hearing some racism in that means you just can't deal with another pov.
The original post is about Limbaugh's comments tying Obama to a beating over which he had no control, foresight or comment on - it's "Obama's America". Now you're saying that because Obama commented on Gates, he can be "called out on" future events upon which he had no control, foresight or comments on?
You're an ass. Go away ...
exactly, because he interfered in the past in something he should not have, during the rest of his Presidency he will be called out on everything else that may happen. BTW, Sticks and stones my friend.... sticks and stones....
Dissent is the highest form of racism, John.
Don't you know that?
Everyone here seems to. C'mon, get with the program.
Dennis why are you such a dick? If you can't acknowledge that what Limbaugh is doing has nothing to do with dissent and has everything to do with the president being a black Democrat. Otherwise Limbaugh would not bring up his race the way he always does.
If the situation where reversed, and a group of white students attacked a black student on a bus: would you assume racism? I bet you would. Why belittle this poor kid and his experience simply because that blowhard Limbaugh got involved.
Why does 'race' have to be a factor for the beating to be 'highly disturbing'?
And, surely, then, you're not approving of Limbaugh's slant as this being purely a construct of 'Obama's America' and not a societal problem that has been with us for years - fed a steady diet of 'fuck you' reality television, in-your-face attitude, violent memes in entertainment, and so on?
This is NOT the same as the Gates case, either from a technical point of view or a commentary. There was no legal right (that we're aware of) such as with Gates identifying himself in his own home.
And aren't you prejudging Obama somewhat? It's without a doubt that he has an opinion on this, but you're coming off as saying that because he spoke up about what happened to Gates, he'll be dogged by the media - or, in short, 'Obama should have kept his mouth shut'.
Why is it that we're only paying attention to these issues now that the president is an African-American?
John -
The incident on the bus may or may not have been 'racial'. It's impossible to say without knowing more about that particular school and those particular kids.
That's not the issue. The point is, Limbaugh's use of the incident on his show was absolutely 'racial' - and racist. Extrapolating from kids fighting on a video to some idiotic, and unrelated, point about Obama and Henry Louis Gates is absolutely racist.
You say: "Here's the problem, by President Obama inserting himself into the Gates case, he has opened himself up to form an opinion about every single incident that will happen throughout his presidency which the media will call him out on."
So because he expressed an opinion about Gates's arrest, Obama is now compelled to speak about every racial incident that happens while he's president? That's just silly.
BTW, what does "he has opened himself up to form an opinion" mean? People open themselves up to form opinions all the time. You did here. So what?
All black people are the same.
Black people all know each other and are all secretly related.
Any bad thing one black person does is typical of all black people. Good things are individual acts and not characteristic of other black people.
A black president is responsible for what all black people do.
None of the above applies to white people.
It works EXACTLY the same for teh GAAAAAYS!
};)>
...to push yesterday...it's Obama's fault those white kids were attacked.
I'm sure each one of us can tell unfortunate stories of racial incidents. The Kanye West, Serena Williams, and now this terrible bus attack as front page news is to neutralize the teabaggers and that disrespectful racist hillbilly Congressman from South Carolina.
Does that mean since Obama was president when George Tiller was murdered, Obama must be anti-choice, and shouldn't he be the good guy for the conservaturds?
not a racist, not a bigot, nor even a closeted one, though I have my doubts about you. Just one who calls you on it when you apply your obvious double standards.
If these three incidents had occurred in succession and it was whites who had done to a teenage black singer what Kanye did, or a white tennis diva said to a black linesman what Serena said, or two white kids had done to a black kid with the rest of the predominately white busload's passengers cheering them on, I seriously doubt if you'd be describing these as 'unfortunate stories of racial incidents'.
And what you'd be screaming to high heavens about would be in all caps and all bold, too.
... your entire argument is predicated on what you think someone else would do if the ethnicities of the actors were reversed?
1. Is ANY beating, white-on-black, black-on-white, black-on-black, white-on-white, Martian-on-Terran, disturbing?
2. Why is it connected to Obama AT ALL?
deserve a good beating!
beatings are foreplay for Martians.
But you hafta marry them afterwords.
Great, so THAT's why those damn Martians won't leave!
FREAKS!
hate green people?

you tell me...
If he had, he'd know that you never go full moron.
I haven't laughed that hard in long while.
"Full 'tard", I believe, was the expression. But close enough ....
My memory sucks. :)
Fuck limpballs, the racist pig.
I grew up in that town, Belleville, Illinois outside of St. Louis (didn't go to high school there, though).
Belleville has a long history of racial tensions, yes. But those racial tensions were white prejudice against blacks.
About 20 years ago, "60 Minutes" had a segment on the Belleville police department because they were accused of inordinately pulling over black drivers, over white drivers. At this time, Belleville still had primarily whites living in it, but black people from East St. Louis started coming from East St. Louis to buy things at the local convenience store; they were starting to move in to Belleville; etc.
Now, Belleville has many black people, something there were not many of when I was young. The racial tensions have greatly subsided. I visit my parents often, and every time I do, I see a mixture of black and white people just hanging out together at that convenience store on the west end.
The Belleville police (on last night's news) are now saying that this was not a racially motivated fight.
Once again, limpballs shows what a racist pig he is.
Come on, don't be naive. You are trying everything in your power to excuse these kids.
No, I am not excusing those kids at all. Tell me where I even hinted that I was excusing them.
I was blasting limpballs. He is saying outrageous things about Obama based on this incident. Even if the fight was racially motivated, how in the hell does this translate into Obama somehow causing it?
In fact, I sent an email to the local conservative radio talk show host yesterday. He asked if we thought this was racially motivated. I actually said that it was possible, but we wouldn't know until we got the facts.
I was pointing out that Belleville has had a long history of racism. And that's why I initially thought that race possibly could play a part, but, again, we wouldn't know until later. How do you know what was on those kids' minds?
And, yesterday afternoon, the Belleville police did say that it was not racially motivated.
Those black kids beating up the white kid was simply wrong and inexcusable, regardless of the motivation.
limpballs saying this was "Obama's America" is pure hate and racism on his part.
Thanks for that insight. It was my first reaction that this has nothing to do with race. I have seen the same scene unfold on a school bus with just a bunch of white boys.
I don't believe you would feel the same way if the participants were reversed.
Not sure who you are responding to, but in my case, I would feel the exact same way.
If the situation were reversed, I would have suspected some racism MIGHT have played a part because I grew up in Belleville, and I know the history.
At the same time, because I know the history, and because I still visit Belleville, I know that blacks and white integrate well there. There are a lot of black kids at the grade school I went to, which was all white when I went there. Obviously, there are a lot of black kids on that Belleville West bus....there simply were few black students back when I was of high school age.
The town is a lot more integrated now, which is why I would have reserved judgment until more facts came out.
And, once again, the Belleville police are saying that race played no part.
I guarantee a large majority for liberal, and I am a liberal, would have concluded that a group of white kids beating up a black kid was racially motivated, regardless of location. You didn't reserve judgment, you said that you thought it had nothing to do with race. You made your judgment.
No, I did not make my judgment if a white kid beat up a black kid that race would be involved.
I said I might have suspected it but would have waited until the facts came out.
Do you believe that that lab technician who was arrested the other day in connection with the Yale student's murder actually did the killing?
I suspect he did, but I do not know, and I will make judgment later.
What if it was a group of Koreans beating on a Mexican? Who would you identify as the racist in that scenario Mack?
One other thing to point out:
This beating occurred on Monday. The Belleville police captain, Don Sax, said on Monday that the beating was racially motivated.
I didn't find out about the beating until Tuesday afternoon, when I heard the local conservative talk show host (a white guy) imply that the beating probably was racially motivated. He said that Don Sax said it was.
So I thought, well, maybe there is something to the racial aspect.
After I got home Tuesday afternoon, I looked at the video. It was kind of hard to tell, at least to me, what started the fight.
On the local channel 5 news here later that day, it was reported that Don Sax retracted his original statement; he said that his original statement was based on emotions.
I don't know what race Don Sax is....I'm trying to find that out. But if he is white, would that infer that perhaps he is a racist, when he made those original comments, based on "emotions?"
Just food for thought.
Back then, his backers always said that Wallace wasn't a racist, that he wasn't anti black anything. He was only fighting for states' rights.
Later in life, even Mr. Wallace himself admitted to his own racism during his political zenith.
Now, it's a different way of saying what was always said by the white privileged: Be afraid of a black man having power.
Corporate control is enhanced by weakening central government. The right wing is controlled by people who want a more enhanced version of "Corporate America." They want corporate control to fill the void left by a government that they drove into the weeds, drowned in the bathtub, etc.
That's what Grover Norquist is all about. That's what Bush is all about, that's what Murdoch is all about. It's greed with an ideological face. Anyone can identify with an ideology that they espouse, but only a few can really cash in on their greed.
Weakening Obama also means weakening the federal government. Weakening the federal government means allowing for corporations to fill the void and take more control.
The fact that he can get away with this is shameful. They shouldn't have "entertainer" attached to their madness. They are race-baiters at its worse.
but then he'll complain about how librul's are trying to take away free speech.
You can't win with these fu*_er's.
Videos like this are uploaded to the internet daily. Maybe its because I grew up in LA but I saw a lot of this in school and although it is dark and it sucks, it is rarely racial. There were much more "same-race-beatings" than there were inter-racial beatings, and not all of the one's between races were based on race, in my observation.
Take the video for what it is worth, a slice of real, everyday life and don't make it out to be the decline of western civilization.
Alex Jones makes a case for Beck being the new Limbaugh and both are paid well to do nothing but stir the shit: http://www.********.com/open-letter-to-glenn-...
...an incident that should be handled by a school district in order to further that agenda of the Fringers to discredit Obama, who all know is responsible for everything any black person anywhere does. Did these kids jump the kid because he was white? In that case expel them all; if they did it because they're a bunch of a****** bullies then suspend them. The other kids on the bus should be suspended for a few days because of their behavior. Done, problem solved. Sounds like Rush decided to ignite the race war by inciting kids to engage in violence so their parents can justify getting involved and escalating the situation to a national level. Fringers were using kids last week as a way to attack Obama by claiming they were just protecting them from his Commie Socialist agenda...race was at play with that too.
Kids get their a$$es kicked in High Scool, especially the ones that get lippy and repeat the racist crap they hear at home.
racist?
Or act like the New York Dolls:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ypy-Etg5GOE&fe...
You are implying this kid instigated the situation. How sad. Come on people, it isn't about this kid. And if the situation was racially motivated it doesn't make Limbaugh right. I suspect many are argued against the attack being racially motivated because they fear that somehow that makes them agree with that fat idiot.
That's correct. This is about Limbaugh and what he said. Not about the reason, which we don't know, why this fight broke out.
Actually, you helped change the nature of the debate when you implied the kid was beaten for "all the right reasons."
You made it about excusing the behavior of these kids as normal, everyday and apparently in your eyes appropriate behavior. You feel that to disagree with Limbaugh means you have to diminish the pain and suffering that kid felt and dismiss his experience as nothing special.
No I didn't "imply the kid was beaten for "all the right reasons.""
I said some kids get their asses kicked because they deserve it. I have know idea why this fight happened. And I stand by what I said about this post being about Limbaugh and not the actual fight.
kids get thier ass kicked in high school. and sometimes, not often from what i remember, for all the right reasons.
What is this nonsense suppose to mean. Someone was assaulted, "for all the right reason." How barbaric.
Get off your pedestal. Some kids deserve to get their asses kicked and that is not barbaric. It is fact.
Have you ever considered that I might not be on a high horse and that your just a small petty person.
... and not sounding like an arse.
No.
Wow - what a douchebag. Is it too tough to let go of those high school quarterback days, Timmy?
When I was in high school, there was this little punk who liked to make a certain snide remark as I walked by. No one bothered him, because his brother was a defensive lineman on the football team and generally well-liked.
This. Went. On. For. Years.
I finally reached the end of my patience, grabbed the punk by his shirtfront and slammed him against the wall. One of his friends had to pull me off of him.
I like to think of myself as fairly even-tempered and civilized, but I am not a saint. Junior deserved being slammed up against a wall.
If this be barbarism, make the most of it.

Rush is getting really gray and fat, soon he won't be able to bend over and take it from his boyfriend.
and i think everyone can feel that. it's amazing. the level of disrespect, the violent rhetoric, crazy ass birthers, people(ex cons) showing up to Presidential events with guns. Fox news is leading the charge everyday against the man we elected to clean up the mess left by the GOP.
Are you telling me this doesn't lead to tragedy at some time? Because I don't see enough being done to quell this crap. There are not enough sane, prominent, voices condemning these actions.
I'm telling you, shit is going to hit the fan. And when it does, Rush and co., better make self preservation thier number one concern because I think ALOT of people are going to be beyond pissed. It will be white hot rage.
being sarcastic me hopes.
bwana tay rush need retire east cape mingle wit locals.
He knows it. Works like charm.
Jar-Jar?
..OH NO! How could that happen in America? Please say it ain't so?
Yeah, never ever happened before. So rush, got any other worthless crap to spew..oh yeah, that's all you got: worthless crap!
for kids to pummel the sh*t out of a kid they don't like while others cheer him on until someone has to pull him off the kid before they kill him.
pull the brake
pull the tape
i'm outta here
Doesn't matter what color a persons flesh is this kind of animal behavior shouldn't be acceptable.
Sure it is not acceptable but it still happens all the time. Remember this is about Limbaugh's reaction to it and Limbaugh is stirring racial relations into a firefight and that is what is more screwed up tan anything.
He knows every time he opens his mouth he hit's a triple ace and coins spill into the cup.
He's a master manipulator and people buy into it.
kids can be mean.
Wouldn't have anything to do with their home environment, their parents, and they type of things they are exposed to does it?
How do we change that?
but some kids are assholes no matter what their home life is like.
In my experience, it's the kids from well off families and no real problems at home that can be the biggest assholes.
Why is it when something bad happens, people resort to giving endless counter examples of misdeeds committed against, for the lack of a better word, opposing side. Does it somehow justify violence or racism. Shouldn't every individual incident be judged based on the facts.
Are we keeping score. Is Gates arrest good for one beating. Does a Rodney King equal one Reginald Denny. If we think this way, nothing is ever going to change. We will be fighting until the end of mankind, always attempting to even the score. I thought this kind of stuff was wrong, period.
Limbaugh is a moron. Are any of us surprised? I sure as hell am not.
... what does the situation involving Professor Gates - a man who was being harassed by the police despite being in his own home and having properly identified himself - have to do with school kids beating on one another?
You seem to be the one making the connection that Obama/Gates is inherently connected to this, or that people are ignoring some essential aspect because of it.
Blimpo's habitual racism explains why the lard-ass, Limp-Dick, doesn't prey on little black boys, like he does white boys.
Isn't Limbaugh perpetuating the stereotype that all whites are racists? He makes me embarrassed to be white.
Here's an excerpt from a current Houma, Louisiana news story:
Racine and Billiot, along with two other men, were convicted in the 2006 beating of 38-year-old Dedric Knight in the parking lot of the Bayou Express gas station at East Main Street and Howard Avenue.
Police said race was the sole motive for the attack. Billiot was convicted for his role, though his sentence was not available because he was prosecuted as a juvenile.
Racine and a codefendant, Charles Brunet Jr., were convicted in June of second-degree battery and a hate crime. Both saw their sentences suspended last month. Though each was given jail time, both got credit for time served. Racine was released Aug. 21. Civil rights groups planned a protest for today to call attention to what they considered too-lenient treatment for Racine and Brunet.
I hate Rush. I despise the GOP. I fought Bush tooth and nail.
But why is it so hard to see this incident as anti-white racism?
Think a little.
The line of arguing on this thread is disappointing.
Why is this video anti-white racism?
Maybe the kid said he didn't like Mike Judge's new movie, and his classmates didn't take kindly to his remark.
