Donald J. Trump got a well-earned earful from a protester at a rally in Wichita, Kansas, on Monday night, when a woman shouted, “I f*cking hate you!” The outburst came as Trump tried to dismiss his hecklers as paid protesters, offering no evidence, of course, to back up the claim.
Trump has faced repeated interruptions at Republican campaign rallies in recent weeks, including a San Antonio appearance earlier this month where hecklers disrupted his speech at least six times.
The events come as Republicans campaign in competitive races, including Sen. Roger Marshall's unexpectedly close contest against Democratic pastor Adam Hamilton in Kansas. Per The Guardian: "Opinion polls show them running neck and neck. In the third quarter, Hamilton reportedly raised $11m while Marshall managed just $800,000."
As another protester shouted from the crowd, Trump insisted he could tell by the person's voice that they were being paid. “Every once in a while, you know, you see some,” he claimed, before adding, “I can tell by the voice they get paid.”
Then the woman let him have it.
“How great is it to be at a Trump rally?” Trump asked the audience after the outburst. He subsequently thanked security personnel as they escorted the protester away.
The heckling follows another disturbing incident last week, when a female protester at a Trump rally was punched in the face by at least one Trump supporter before being dragged out by police. Trump also mocked the woman as police removed her.
Despite repeatedly blaming unnamed enemies of the United States for allegedly paying protesters to disrupt his events, Trump has offered no evidence for those claims. And Donald, we hate your corrupt old ass for free. He's so full of shit, we'll need to attach a toilet flush to his jaw.
