artificial wealth bubble? Any news on that? Possible reflation sequence and timing?

those boomer portfolios groaning with fake earnings have to be resuscitated.

Is it bad journalism? Yo no se. But it sure isn't another example of American lives saved from foreign terrorists through tips revealed by torture.

become the National Inquirer on steroids they might have a scoop.

Yip

were drowning in fraud, deceit, mediocrity, and poverty of imagination nothing new to report.

Let me know how it was.

... start referring to him as 'self-admitted war criminal' rather than 'former vice president.'

As a Californian, I agree Schwarznegger should resign.

Judging from the critics, the Terminator movie series needs him badly.

he completely destroy California yet?

Than any governor before him with the possible exception of George Deukmejian.

The President's speech was as always right on point. He whacked every mole out there. Cheney is still huffing and puffing and saying we're all gonna die if we stop waterboarding,

Former President Cheney is, once again, trashing Obama. Nice.

I predict the Republicans will attempt to impeach Obama within the next 12 months.

Pelosi and Reid will roll over with their paws in the air.

I'll take his job pretty please!

Cheney, Obama, or Reid?

I doubt Reid and Pelosi are loyal to much of anything other then themselves. "Self Preservation".

Cheney was on a stale roll

The President deflated all of cheney's talking points before cheney even began talking. It made cheney look ridiculous and pathetic.

:)

now, you show me someone that makes cheney look wise and strong and i will be impressed

George Bush?

My goal wasn't to impress anyone, just stating my opinion

i guess the joke was a failure

nevermind

"Sleazy..." "...an abomination.." "...lies..from beginning to end.." "..worst speech since Spiro Agnew.."

Those were the compliments...

Self Destruct

Ha Ha I heard that too. Larry is super pissed and who can blame him. Cheney sounds to me like a man who is afraid of his own shadow.

He's smart. He's expressive and to the point. And he knows how to bitch-slap Buchannan with one pinky.

"Not one person has been prosecuted for the 9/11 attacks"

this. does. not. compute. this. does. not. compute.

listen, i've heard from good GOP authorities that everyone imprisoned in the cushy and swanky club-gitmo are al qaeda terrorists that were involved in 9/11. sure, they haven't been "tried" and found "guilty" of such by any fancy court system, but we all know *wink* these guys are the ones that will never stop in the attempts to kill americans because of our freedoms. so, sure, no one has been, as you say, "prosecuted", but, as americans, we can decide people's guilt and innocence by our gut and thru a fog of irrational fear. hello, it is the american way.

i think senator harry reid's irrational paranoia should be a model for everyone. the GOP and dem establishment have led by example, we should be willing to sacrifice everything that we thought we held dear in order to protect the homeland from these supervillains.

that we thought we held dear in order to protect the bank accounts of the Rich and Famous that's the bottom line.

blowing warmly across my scoped colon in the morning.

... from the sensory deprivation helmet that bothers me. Can't we do something about this?

After hearing the President's speech today, Ried should be embarrassed over his vote as should everyone else who voted against it, especially the democrats.

... fear makes you stupid.

It's not like these guys are being let go on city streets.

while few are released each year, one day all these Senators and Representatives will walk among us.

And does an interview with Argentinian paper Clarin

Some highlights (translated)
"Obama administration more receptive to banks than to people".

"Larry Summers, former Clintonite, was against regulating derivatives even though Brooksley Born the head of the regulatory commission wanted to regulate them."

She hopes that Congress does intervene as they proposed a Pecora Commission.

Debt is a big problem. Third world countries should avoid having debt created and use their own resources instead to avoid further economic mess.

Predicts Dollar not going to be reserve currency.

The old peak economy is not going to recover, and so far Obama has not used his rhetorical talents to articulate what the next economy is likely to be about.

But we can all pat ourselves on the back anyway.

She also mentions that the Obama administration is trying their darnedest to preserve the current economic system which is unsustainable and therefore should be allowed to go away.

way behind the curve. WAY BEHIND. At least we don't have to listen to Bush mangle the English language though.

or, maybe the question should be, would the bank employees (see, congress) ever put someone like Pecora in any sort of position that might cause the banks even the slightest discomfort?

That's the question. Seriously what good does that illusion do for us?

brilliant and efficient minds are starving. They can't get capital.

So Zacharias Moussaui doesn't count, although His Craziness has been dubbed the 20th hijacker? Or did they realise he really wasn't involved, as in, he was too crazy to be accepted by the Saudis who did the deed?

As Sadly, No and other sites have noted, the reigning principle of the GOP is pissing off Dems. Also, hating on gays and stealing money from the middle class to give to the rich. That's really their only platform.
