This Week marks the passings of former football star and actor Merlin Olsen, architect Bruce Graham, political activist "Granny D" Doris Haddock and actor Corey Haim. In addition, the Pentagon has released the names of seven servicemembers killed in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Army PVT Nicholas S Cook, 19, of Hungry Horse, MT

Army SGT Jonathan J Richardson, 24, of Bald Knob, AR

Army PFC Jason M Kropat, 25, of White Lake, NY

Marine LCpl Garrett W Gamble, 20, of Sugarland, TX

According to iCasualties, this brings the total number of allied servicemembers killed in Iraq to 4,700; in Afghanistan, 1,685. During this same period, Iraq Body Count lists 69 Iraqi civilians killed. According to Rethink Afghanistan, a recent study has found that more Afghan civilians killed by US, NATO forces than insurgents in the recent Marjah battles.
