Study: Doctors Spread Germs By Touching Their Smartphones

According to a study by the VU Medial Centre in Amsterdam, 57% of the 80% of doctors who use smartphones don’t wash their hands between touching their device and touching a patient. The study also found that between 42% and 95% of the smartphones tested had hospital-acquired bacteria. [Source: Recombu via Betabeat]
