Glenn Beck marries FreedomWorks for the dowry

Poor, poor Glenn Beck. Faced with plummeting ratings, advertisers abandoning ship like rats in a storm, and a boss on a tear about the help doing political things, what else is there to do but look for an arranged marriage?

Lucky for Beck, Dick Armey is always on the lookout for a good dirt hill upon which to plant his AstroTurf. Need meets need, and ... a partnership is born. FreedomWorks, meet Glenn Beck. He only slept with Americans for Prosperity a few times ... he's still pure enough for you.

Listen carefully to the very beginning:

BECK: This half-hour is sponsored by FreedomWorks

Then the long explanation of how the elopement happened. From the beginning, I'm guessing the NRA didn't want to sponsor him? Toward the end of his little speech, there's this:

And we must, must, must link arms with people. Everybody plays a different role. My message to you is to shore yourself up personally, with history, with faith, and with your own personal finances. That is my course that I am charting. I’ve got to move away from the political stuff. That is what kept me up last night. But political stuff has got to be done. You have to pay attention. There are things that are happening in Washington that you have to know about. We need the Tea Party protests to continue. We need to organize and reach out to each other. So I want you to go to Freedomworks.org, because freedom works.

See, Rupert already smacked Hannity down, and Beck has a benefit planned for August. Enter FreedomWorks, ready to accept all the Glenn Beck faithful into their fold.

As if they're not there already.

Good old Joe. He's doing what he does best. Throw as much dirt as he can on the left. While giving an interview with the conspiracy theory-wingnut site known as Newsmax, he says he's really happy that the Republicans might have the momentum in the 2010 election. Praise the Lord and all that jazz.

Raw Story:

But in a Newsmax interview published Monday, he took himself one step further toward the party he once campaigned to defeat.

There were a lot of people, particularly Democrats, who were declaring after the 2008 election that we were beginning a period of Democratic dominance that would go on for decades," Lieberman told Newsmax. "Now, all of a sudden, the momentum is with the Republicans. And that's — thank God — that's the way people have spoken, you know? That's our democracy."

The senator also said that "everybody should listen" to former Alaska governor Sarah Palin.

“I think Sarah Palin for a lot of people has become a spokesperson," Lieberman said. "People worried that government has forgotten them, has grown too big, that the deficit is growing too large, and in some sense that we’re not being as strong as we should be in the world — Governor Palin has spoken to those concerns as much as anyone.

We should listen to Sarah Palin because she speaks nonsense, right Joe? Palin supports every policy that led to the anger that permeates our nation and would have continued with the same policies that caused a Global Financial meltdown even if she doesn't understand what they all mean.

She's the one that beat him out of being the VP poster boy for his BFF, 'I'm No Maverick' McCain.

Lieberman runs on bitterness and hate for anything that is to the left of his "Bomb Iran" wet dreams. We can all thank Al Gore for Holy Joe.

Norah O'Donnell sells the GOP line: Is she kidding me?

Noron-Hellbush.jpg Don't worry about asking meaningful questions Norah, just go to the absurd. It doesn't matter if the Democrats want to talk about their agenda for a change.

Norah: So Congresswoman, let me put you on record here because we see Bill Clinton talking about the politics of "Common Good" and the need for that to take place and you say the Democrats have a positive agenda---Can you promise then that when Democrats--if they retake the House of Representatives and Senate will not issue tens or hundreds of subpoenas to the White House when it comes to Katrina, Iraq and a number of other issues and essentially make the President's final two years in office a living hell if you will and mean that nothing gets done in Washington?

Thank you Noron, and I call you Noron when you act like one. The media just loved all those subpoenas for Bill Clinton. They lived for them and journalists that weren't trying to dig up dirt on Bill were shunned, but hey---the Democrats aren't worthy because they might provide a little oversight to a Rubber stamp House and Senate that never once held a hearing on Iraq.

DON IMUS, host: They're [Palestinians] eating dirt and that fat pig wife [Suha Arafat] of his is living in Paris.

ROSENBERG: They're all brainwashed, though. That's what it is. And they're stupid to begin with, but they're brainwashed now. Stinking animals. They ought to drop the bomb right there, kill 'em all right now.

BERNARD MCGUIRK, producer: You can just imagine standing there.

ROSENBERG: Oh, the stench.

IMUS: Well, the problem is that we have Andrea [Mitchell, NBC News chief foreign affairs correspondent] there. We don't want anything to happen to her.

ROSENBERG: Oh, she's got to get out. Just warn Andrea, get out, and then drop the bomb, kill everybody.

MCGUIRK: It's like the worst Woodstock.

ROSENBERG: Look at this. Look at these animals. Animals!

A picture named lg.jpegSid Rosenberg not happy about MSNBC issuing an apology for his racist remarks!

Imus: What happened, tell me?

Sid: I guess I said something, and ahhh..MSNBC issued an apology at my behalf last week without even asking me about it...maybe I don't want to apologize.

Then he later criticized Michael Jordan's brother for re-enlisting back into the army.

Sid: He's a no-name, who cares.

On November 23, the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) announced that MSNBC had apologized for racist commentary delivered on radio host Don Imus's Imus in the Morning. In its apology, MSNBC stated: "The views expressed on the program are not those of MSNBC. Having said that, it was unfortunate that these remarks were telecast on MSNBC. We sincerely apologize to anyone who was offended by these remarks."

Bye Bye Severin

Gone from Tucker's show, I had heard him on Imus give the " traveling is a bitch" excuse and thought it odd. Whenever Rachel pummeled his logic into the dirt with facts, he would make some idiotic Clinton joke. Well the truth is: In fact, he's been banned from the network: "You won't see him on MSNBC again," the source says"

Arianna Huffington on Ed Klein

Ed Klein Rapes the National Discourse: God knows I’ve had plenty of disagreements with Hillary -- especially on Iraq. But what Klein is doing is disgusting. It has nothing to do with Hillary’s politics -- and everything to do with feeding the right-wing sleaze machine. This bears no relation to legitimate political reporting -- and should not be treated as such. In fact, if there’s a rape involved in this book, it’s Ed Klein’s attempted rape of the public discourse....read on

Arianna digs up the dirt on the moneychangers in this project. They are the ususal suspects and we expect no less from them. Kevin Drum had a great post describing these plebeians. Drudge's headlines about this book even turned off some of the most right wing loony bin bloggers out there.

Washington Times attacks Harry Reid

via Daily Kos: Reid under attack Kos has the entire senario on display.

They remind me of the NY Post. Whenever one of their own is in trouble, you can be sure the NY Post will watch their backs. They had their troops mobilized to downplay Paula Abdul's fling with Corey Clarke so they appeared in force on 24/7. They did it for Bill O'Reilly and the Andrea Mackris affair; constantly trying to dig up dirt to make Andrea look bad. Now the Moonie Times is going the same route to attack Mr. Reid. with Charles Hurt. AmericaBlog says that "Harry Reid is one tough SOB and he is driving the right-wing crazy...I mean, crazier."
