The Condi for President Blog has been up and running for a few days now and already is getting the hang of the right wing blog philosophy. If you don't know what you are talking about, make it up. On Sunday, C&L posted a light hearted piece, poking a little fun at Instapundit. (earlier post)
"It's a done deal. Now that Instapundit has put the stamp of approval on her. I'm sure the rest of the righties will march in step. His evidence is very compelling:
THERE'S A CONDI RICE FOR PRESIDENT BLOG, there's a Draft Condi website, and you can already buy the T-Shirt. And bumper stickers!
The juggernaut is already rolling. There you go. It's a freight train out of control. I believe that if you buy two Rice2008.com bumper stickers, O'Reilly will throw in a Boycott France bumper sticker for free."
Apparently Ed(Fibber)Longshanks didn't appreciate my charactization that many right wingers move to the drum beat of Glen Reynolds:
The appropriately named blog Crooks and Liars links to this blog . Thanks for the traffic (uh, I dont know your name. Can I just call you Crook?)"
Yes you may call me "Crook!" As a matter of fact everyone can now call me "Crook." Ed, may I call you "Fibber?" Here's the rational:
As I read your piece, I noticed that you had filed our post under " Racist Attacks on Condi"
The Crooks and Liars thread on Condi for Prez is a good example of how racist liberals are.
The thread is filled with racist epithets hurled at Condi. It seems that blacks who leave the liberal plantation see that racism in America has a welcome home in the democrat party.
Ok, I'm still trying to figure out where there are any racist epithets in our post? None. So I take exception to that characterization. Yet in Fibber's own description of racist liberals, he uses the term " liberal plantation" as an analogy. The term was also used by Ann Coulter. This clearly is a racist term in describing Blacks in America. So who's the real racist here?
Longshanks Guidelines for Comments: Very Simple -- No cussing -- No cussing equivalents
I think he might add another important guideline: "Truth"
PS: Fibber Longshanks, good luck with your blog, it's a very rewarding endeavor to participate in and I wish you well. However, sometimes we like to have a little fun in the blogosphere too...
(update) Longshanks says he was talking about the comments section. I guess he never read LGF or Free Republic or any other conservative site that has comments.
