Arianna gets to the point.

Arianna: "Well, first of all, what's wrong with that is that Bob Woodward sat on this story for over two years, did not tell his editor, did not tell the public, and went on television again and again trashing Fitzgerald and the prosecution, calling him disgraceful, calling the matter laughable. And in fact, I wonder whether if Ftiz had really leaked to him at any point he would have been like that. It shows the fact that Bob Woodward really is deferential to his sources again and again. And the way to actually get deference from Bob Woodward is to leak to him. That, perhaps, was Fitzgerald's mistake.
