Funny how Jack Shafer cares nothing about Howell's shoddy reporting. Jack says:

You want to be shut down? That's fine with me, but I won't ask my readers to take action against you. I won't tell them that you obviously haven' t been reading much news lately because Howell's column is exactly the type of article that the administration craves. I would never do that.
