War on Christianity: Al Sharpton gets into it with Tony Perkins on Hardball today discussing this meme. And you thought it was over after Christmas. Sharpton nailed Tom Delay over his phony use of his religious beliefs and Perkins had no answer for that. Leaders like Perkins take isolated incidents and then wrap themselves around them mainly to fundraise and rally their base. Like you didn't know that already. To save Perkins butt, Matthews being the good Catholic boy (I grew up Catholic) ended the segment by saying that he thinks there is a campaign against religion. (no evidence supplied of course) Would it kill these guys to do a few segments about the attacks on Gays by religious leaders or on evolution or the attempts to label text books or the...(please add to the list.)
