Bill O'Reilly: Call To Expose Racism Is A 'Vigilante Situation'
Fox's Bill O'Reilly attacks Kareem Abdul-Jabbar for his op-ed on Donald Sterling's racist remarks.
Fox's Bill-O has figured out who is causing the real problems with it comes to race relations in the United States -- the people trying to expose the racism.
From Fox's blog: ‘A Vigilante Situation’: O’Reilly Slams Abdul-Jabbar’s Op-Ed on Racism:
Bill O’Reilly tonight remarked on an op-ed article in “Time” written by NBA star Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.
The op-ed about Donald Sterling’s racist remarks says, in part, “Let’s use this tawdry incident to remind ourselves of the old saying: ‘Eternal vigilance is the price of freedom.’ Instead of being content to punish Sterling and go back to sleep, we need to be inspired to vigilantly seek out, expose, and eliminate racism at its first signs.”
O’Reilly said that if Abdul-Jabbar’s vision were to come true, we’d be a nation of witch hunters.
“The Factor” host said that Sterling is just one man, and his thoughts do not reflect anything.
“A call for all Americans to seek and expose racism is quite something else – it’s a vigilante situation," he said. "Again, that’s dangerous.”
O’Reilly said it’s clear that political correctness has taken deep root in this country.
O'Reilly knows all about dangerous vigilante situations -- like the one he inspired that lead to the death of Dr. George Tiller.
