Carly Fiorina Is The New Koch Darling!

Fiorina is now being considered as a top-tier candidate by the Koch machine.

With Scotty Walker gone, the Kochs need another Republican contender to consider for their formidable war chest of nearly a billion dollars, and it looks like Carly Fiorina wins that jackpot this week.

Carly Fiorina has officially made it onto the short list of candidates being considered by the Koch Brothers’ network of donors -- potentially opening the door to a deep pool of money.

Freedom Partners Chamber of Commerce, the Koch brothers’ umbrella group, which includes a sprawling network of conservative donors, confirmed to ABC News that Fiorina is one of the five candidates on the donor network’s watch list.

"Governor Jeb Bush, Carly Fiorina and Senators Ted Cruz, Rand Paul and Marco Rubio are leading a thoughtful and substantive discussion on the issues and we look forward to hearing more about their vision for the country,” Freedom Partners spokesman James Davis told ABC News.

This should make her even snarlier and nastier than she already is, I'm sure.

But Carly, beware. Barbara Boxer knows you all too well, and she's not shy about promising to share everything she's got.

“This is yet another issue I have to talk about because I love my country so much,” the senator said. “I need people to know who this woman is and what her pattern is of hurting people, stepping on them, and then rewarding herself.”

...

Fiorina was, in Boxer’s telling, a monstrously greedy businesswoman who would rather fire American workers and give their jobs to China than take a pay cut, even though she made hundreds of millions of dollars and somehow found extra cash lying around for corporate jets and personal yachts. Worse for Fiorina, many of her public statements—that Americans are not entitled to jobs, for example—confirmed the story Boxer was selling.

When she first learned the details of Fiorina’s record, Boxer said, “I was shocked.” It wasn’t just that she had fired 30,000 people but the apparent callousness with which she had done so. They were, Boxer said, "summarily dismissed like some kind of garbage." Even now, so long after the Senate campaign, Boxer sounds like she still can't believe it. “That comes back to haunt you! You cannot do that. You cannot step on people when you're going up the ladder, because they don't forget.”

“The heartlessness,” Boxer sighed. “She makes Mitt Romney look like a populist.”

I'm sure this will make Fiorina even more attractive to the Kochs, who will spare no expense to promote her as the conservative alternative to Hillary Clinton.
