It's official now. Republicans are just treating the Presidential election like it's a YUGE joke instead of a serious search for the next leader of the free world.

When asked by Chris Hayes to look him in the eye and tell him he thought Donald Trump or Ben Carson would be a better President than Hillary Clinton, Pataki answered, "Yes."

When pressed on it, he stuck to his guns, claiming she had no executive experience. Yes, of course she doesn't. Being the head of the State Department for 4 years isn't executive experience or anything like it, according to Pataki.

This is a man who claims he believes climate change is real. Evidently he's willing to buck the GOP on that point, but not on whether two buffoons who call themselves Republicans would be better for the country.

If I were that man's mother, I'd send him to his room and tell him to think for a long while about what he just said.
