I've heard some Trump supporters try and defend Donald Trump over his vile "schlonged" remark that he hurled at Hillary Clinton, but longtime TV political correspondent Jeff Greenfield takes the cake with this defense of the Donald.

On further review, Trump is right on this. "I got schlonged" is a commonplace NY way of saying: "I lost big time," w/out genital reference.

All New Yorkers know what this means and a man like Donald Trump may not know lot about foreign policy, but he sure knows how to use vulgarity. Being a native New Yorker myself, I know there's nobody that can throw around f-bombs and certain body parts like we can. That's just the way it is. And Trump didn't have to think long and hard about what he was saying when he spewaged his words at Hillary. See, you could say that I used the word "spewaged" to mean shot, thrown or flung, but there is another meaning altogether.

I'm just waiting for the beltway media elites to come up with a way that "both sides do it," when they discuss the schlonging incident.
