Michael Moore Mocks Trump On Megyn Kelly's Show
And that's just the beginning, I'm sure.
Michael Moore made an appearance on Megyn Kelly's show Tuesday night just in time to dish up some humor about Donald Trump's hissy fit over Kelly moderating Thursday night's GOP debate.
Moore asked, "What's he afraid of? I'm sitting here, I don't feel any fear!"
After agreeing that Megyn is a "pussy cat", Moore sent out an invitation to Trump.
"Donald, come now. Come sit beside me, I'll hold your hand, she's fine. She's fine," he mocked.
After some back and forth, Moore got a little bit more serious. "You have done something that Jeb Bush, Chris Christie, Rubio, Cruz, none of them have been able to do, which is to essentially frighten him, make him run, shut him down," he said. "Everyone's tried to do this for months and you did it!"
After they actually conducted the serious part of the interview, which isn't in the video above, Moore circled back around to Megyn's Trump Tiff.
"To get elected President in this country, you have to come on this network. You have to play ball with this network. Donald Trump today said 'I'm not playing with this network," he said. "That's an historic moment, and it's going to be interesting to see where the real power is."
"Trump thinks he doesn't need Fox News," Moore continued. "I think Fox News probably has something else to say about that."
Well, Brit Hume certainly had something to say about it.
Yes, that's real. Fox News, trolling the Republican frontrunner. Who'd have guessed?
My theory, for what it's worth, is simple enough. This is a bunch of sound and fury to generate interest in the debate. Trump will make an entrance and be on the stage. And he'll possibly stay for the whole thing, or feign anger at a question Kelly asks so he can walk off.
It's all drama, meant to raise the ratings. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
