Stupid Mark Halperin Tweets On Trump's Foreign Policy Speech
Are you going to believe your lying eyes or Mark Halperin's Twitter feed?
Before yesterday's big speech, the consensus of policy experts on Donald Trump's foreign policy was one of confusion.
Outside of Trump supporters and right wingers like John Bolton, nothing changed for foreign correspondents and serious pundits after yesterday's yuuuge Donald Trump speech at the Mayflower Hotel.
We posted CNN's Nick Paton Walsh's response immediately afterwards -- he was not kind to Trump's vision at all, calling it oversimplification, 'Staggering And Confusing'
Now cut to Bloomberg's Mark Halperin's twitter feed and you might wonder if he was watching something entirely different.
He would have you believe that Donald Trump is the second greatest politician of our time. No, really:
2 minutes in, the rhetoric of this @realDonaldTrump speech is unlike anything else he has delivered as a presidential candidate.

Biggest mistake those who consistently misunderstand Trump will make abt this speech: failure to see he passionately believes every word

On his 2nd lifetime use of a TelePrompTer in public, @realDonaldTrump is already better than most politicians. Lot of research in here too

If Bush 43 or @MittRomney had given this Trump speech as prez candidates, it would be hailed as good politics & interesting worldview

.@jpodhoretz @realDonaldTrump You've put the bar in the wrong place. This speech increases his chances of being POTUS. Flaws & all.

.@creynoldsnc @jonfavs Like most political speeches, there's untrue stuff. Not 90%. In fact, there's lots that could be in a Clinton speech
— Mark Halperin (@MarkHalperin) April 27, 2016
.@jonfavs That is, as you know well, what passes for research in presidential campaign speechwriting. He went from 0 to some.

What we've learned today abt life thru Nov if Trump wins:some reporters can't be objective abt him & left/right critics will sound the same

Another "Great News for John McCain" moment for the beltway's top Republican butt-kisser.
