The NY Times featured an article that took a look at how Donald Trump has treated women in his life called: Crossing the Line: How Donald Trump Behaved With Women in Private

As you can imagine it's garnering a lot of attention. Earlier today, Rowanne Brewer Lane, a former Trump girlfriend, went on Fox and Friends and other media outlets and has been trashing the article, calling it an "upsetting story."

Co-host Harris Faulkner asked Megyn Kelly, who was a guest on Fox News' Outnumbered, along with her husband and she asked, "Donald Trump and his treatment of women on the front page of the NY Times, Megyn, your thoughts?

Megyn, who has had her issues with Trump in the past admitted, after reading the entire story, that it wasn't a total hit piece on Trump and that Donald has real issues with women to contend with.

Kelly said, "This is one of the complexities of Donald Trump is, If you read the NY Times piece all the way through, they reach that same conclusion which is, it's a complex analysis. It's not a total hit piece on him like, 'Trump sucks and he doesn't like women,' they also talk about women that he has promoted and helped professionally. They highlight Barbara Res, who he made the head of construction at a time when no women had those positions to the consternation of his own father."

She continued, "But that doesn't excuse all the other stuff he's said. He's of course used language about women that is absolutely diminishing, whether this women here felt diminished or not?

On the article, co-host Melissa Francis opined that the NY Times needed to have an airtight case, get one piece wrong and it undermines the whole case, which she says is happening with Lane's objections.

Surprisingly, she then piled on Trump over his bad behavior towards women and STILL apologized for him.

"Obviously there's a lot of evidence that Donald Trump has said and perhaps done things that aren't great for women. It kinda cuts both ways - I think a lot of women are saying, I'm not voting for him for husband. I'm voting for him for president. I wouldn't marry him"

Kelly then interjected, "Does it matter if we have a presidential candidate or president who doesn't speak about women respectfully, or treat all women respectfully?

Here's where the rubber meets the road when it comes to conservative women, who are supporting Trump. They are walking a very thin tightrope and are about to fall off.

Francis replied, "I don't love it, of course, but at the same time I'm so worried about the economy and I'm so worried about national security - I feel those things are first, and there's stuff I don't like about each and every candidate..."

There isn't an honest person around in politics who really believes Donald Trump has the know-how or the wisdom to keep America safer than Hillary or Bernie or many of the other Clown Car candidates and his tax plan clearly deposits proof positive that he knows nothing about America's economy, so why defend him?

Francis continued, "I don't believe he has a lot of respect for women, in general, at all."

Wow, just wow.
