Elizabeth Warren Is Conspicuously Missing From DNC Speaker List

The preliminary list of speakers includes Bernie, but not Liz? What's up?

Well, this is interesting. You may recall that last week Senator Elizabeth Warren's name was leaked as keynote speaker for Monday night at the Democratic National Convention. Today, the campaign released a preliminary speaker list, and Warren's name is conspicuously missing from it.

Monday:

First Lady Michelle Obama, Senator Bernie Sanders and DREAMer Astrid Silva
Gavel time expected at 3:00 p.m.

It appears Senator Bernie Sanders has taken the keynote slot the leak suggested would be Warren's.

Tuesday:

President Bill Clinton
Gavel time expected at 4:00 p.m.
Also scheduled Tuesday are Mothers of the Movement members Gwen Carr, Mother of Eric Garner; Sybrina Fulton, Mother of Trayvon Martin; Maria Hamilton, Mother of Dontré Hamilton; Lucia McBath, Mother of Jordan Davis; Lezley McSpadden, Mother of Michael Brown; Cleopatra Pendleton-Cowley, Mother of Hadiya Pendleton; Geneva Reed-Veal, Mother of Sandra Bland.

Wednesday:

President Barack Obama and Vice President Joe Biden
Gavel time expected at 4:30 p.m.

Thursday:

Hillary Clinton and Chelsea Clinton
Gavel time expected at 4:30 p.m.

Now, to be fair, Senators Tim Kaine and Sherrod Brown are not on the list either. But it still seems weird to me that Warren's name would have been specifically leaked as a keynote speaker last week, and isn't there this week.

Can we conclude that her name is still on the short list for VP?
