Katrina Pierson Defends Trump's Assassination Threat: 'It Could Happen, Not Should Happen!'

Top Trump surrogate, Katrina Pierson did her best to try and make believe her boss was only talking about the NRA voting block, but failed.

Donald Trump just set off another fire storm for himself when he "suggested" that gun-toting Americans could dispatch Hillary Clinton before she picks liberal judges for the Supreme court.

"And by the way, if she gets to pick her judges, nothing you can do, folks," he shouted over booing.

As the shouts from the crowd continued, Trump added, "Although the Second Amendment people, maybe there is. I don't know."

Instead of Donald apologizing for the "gaffe" the campaign sent out a statement saying, “It’s called the power of unification – 2nd Amendment people have amazing spirit and are tremendously unified, which gives them great political power. And this year, they will be voting in record numbers, and it won’t be for Hillary Clinton, it will be for Donald Trump.”

Karina Pierson joined CNN's Jake Tapper and tried to explain away Trump's statement that 'second amendment people' could take care of Hillary Clinton if she appoints liberal judges.

Tapper asked, "What exactly was Mr. Trump saying?"

Pierson replied, "Mr. Trump was saying exactly what he said." He was talking about Hillary Clinton and gun control."

She continued, "Hillary Clinton is a gun grabber! Everyone knows if she's in a position to appoint Supreme Court justices, she will do everything she can to remove the second amendment."

This is simply laughable. Advocating for gun control measures has nothing to do with calling for a constitutional amendment to remove the second amendment from the Constitution.

But it's sure good for gun sales, innit?

"Trump was merely pointing that out as he does every day on the campaign trail."

But he's never advocated for a voting block that makes guns and assault weapons their mantra to take action, Katrina.

"So this is very important in November, if you care about your second amendment rights to get out there and vote," she added.

Tapper followed up and said, "But he was talking about what second amendment activists could do to stop her 'if-she-won,' to stop her form appointing a gun control nominee - it wasn't about November - it's after November."

Katrina replied, "That's actually not what he was talking about."

It is.

I watched the Youtube of Trump's rally (starts at 1:28 hour mark) and he offered up a shopping list to compare their differences on the issues when he clearly said, "if she gets to pick her judges."

That means after she is elected to the White House. Game-set-match. It's over, period!

Michael Hayden said right before the Pierson segment on CNN that if anybody else said those words they'd be in the back of a police car.
