At the end of Monday night's first Presidential debate, after Trump smeared her by saying she didn't have the "look" or the "stamina" to be president, Hillary Clinton painted Trump with his past misogynistic statements, including his horrible smears of the former Ms. Universe, Alicia Machado.

In response to Lester Holt's question, Trump replied, "She doesn't have the look. She don't have the stamina. I said she doesn’t have the stamina. And I don't believe she does have the stamina. To be president of this country you need tremendous stamina."

Hillary responded, "Well, one thing Lester, is you know, he tried to switch from looks to stamina but this is a man who is called women pigs, slobs, and dogs, and someone who has said pregnancy is an inconvenience to employers who has said women don't deserve equal pay unless they do as good a job as men and one of the worst things he said was about a woman in a beauty contest, he loves beauty contests, supporting them and hanging around them. And he called this woman Miss Piggy. Then he called her Miss Housekeeping because she was Latina. Donald she has a name," Clinton said.

"Her name is Alicia Machado and she has become a U.S. citizen and you can bet she's going to vote this November," she finished, as the audience applauded.

After Holt gave Trump ten seconds to respond, Donald tried to pull a fast one on pundits, the media and the American people; like he's done many times before in other debates, rallies and interviews.

He tars his opponents with rumors, innuendo or a conspiracy theory and then says that it's not him who is saying it, but other people.

He did this at the debate.

After Hillary hammered him over his remarks about Alicia Machado, Trump complained that the Clinton campaign is spending money on negative ads against him by using his own words.

And then Trump said, "I was going to say something extremely rough to Hillary, to her family, and I said to myself I can't do it. I just can't do it. It's inappropriate, it's not nice."

Everybody in America knows exactly what he was going to say, in one form or another. It's been fodder for the entire right wing noise machine for almost twenty-five years.

If something is inappropriate then a person never mentions or hints at it, but not Trump.

He said it, he meant it, and his surrogates were sent out to keep talking about it and encourage reporters to talk about it. So yes, he clearly did mention Monica.
