Kellyanne Conway Protests Medical Disclosures For Trump While Attacking Clinton
It's another day in Trump-world.
Trump's campaign manager Kellyanne Conway defended Donald's right to privacy when it comes to his medical records and then attacked Hillary Clinton for not being forthcoming about her pneumonia.
Conway is making the cable TV rounds today and she's in rare form. On CNN she was belligerent and on MSNBC with Andrea Mitchell she was nonsensical.
Trump is appearing with Dr. Oz tomorrow and when Andrea Mitchell asked if Donald's kooky doctor Harold Bornstein is the physician that conducted his new exam, she said she didn't know.
And then she got defensive.
"Remember, I'm with Dr. Oz and millions of Americans on this. I don't know why we need such extensive medical reporting when we all have a right to privacy.” To Kellyanne, we all have that right, with one exception: Hillary Clinton.
Conway tried to change the subject to President Obama and the Affordable Care Act and then pivoted to the ridicule Bornstein is receiving.
Mitchell marched on and said Bornstein's letter was very brief and reminded her of the decades long custom of presidential candidates releasing their medical records and said,“The American people have a right to know what the health is of their perspective commander-in-chief."
And then after complaining that her candidate was being forced to release medical records that should be private, Conway came back with, "I agree with your premise."
What? Now she agrees with Andrea?
She continued, "And so the question remains, why in the world did Hillary Clinton lie to everyone and conceal such an important fact for two days saying she was overheated and dehydrated and then, of course, hours and hours later after, unfortunately, her health had become the biggest trending story of the day, not the 9/11 fallen. Why wait all those hours?'
She's spinning faster than the Tasmanian Devil. When it's about Trump's taxes or medical records, he needs his privacy because America! - but when it's anybody else it's "what are you hiding?"
Kellyanne then laughingly said, “The question remains that if this is about transparency and medical records and health conditions then why was she so furtive in the business of concealment here?”
Donald Trump is the most secretive presidential candidate ever when it comes to releasing pertinent information to the American public that has been going on for forty years.
Conway is pretty good at deflecting questions away from her boss, (Ted Cruz mentored her) but he still will have to reveal what it appears he's hiding.
