Kimmel, Round 3: Trump Would Sign Koran In Falujah If It Meant Getting Rid Of Obamacare
Kimmel also takes on his critics who want to hijack his name to lie.
Jimmy Kimmel's critics should just give it up already, because the truth is that he's right and they're wrong. The larger truth is that if you're going to use someone's name to sell your product, they actually have a right to approve that product or demand you take their name off of it.
Kimmel keeps trying to make that point, but the Bill Cassidys, Lindsey Grahams and Joe Conchas of the world just don't understand.
They're perfectly comfortable calling the father of an infant with a pre-existing and life-threatening condition a liar and a coward. (No, Joe Concha, Kimmel is a FATHER who is fighting for his SON...just like I am a MOTHER fighting for my son. Get a grip.)
Best line in this one, though, was when Kimmel slammed Trump for wanting to sign anything that would let him shove a stick in the eye of his predecessor.
"Trump would sign copies of the Koran at the Barnes & Noble in Falujah if it meant getting rid of Obamacare," Kimmel pointed out. This, after likening Trump to a cat chasing a laser beam.
In all, he takes on Mike Pence, Donald Trump, Lindsey Graham, states rights, and more.
It's a little bit serious, and a little bit funny, and it's still really heartening to have someone with Kimmel's reach take this issue on.
"Don't forget, Bill Cassidy named this test after me! Am I just supposed to be quiet about that?," Kimmel asked.
No, no you're not. You go, Jimmy Kimmel.
