Fox And Friends Hosts Are Confused About What 'Draining The Swamp" Means

The three host of Trump's favorite program couldn't figure out if Sen. Flake leaving the Senate means "draining the swamp."

The co-hosts of Trump's favorite Fox News program couldn't figure out by Sen. Flake leaving the Senate if that means "draining the swamp."

It would have been comical if not for the magnitude of Trump's devotion to these nitwits.

Tomi Lahren joined the co-hosts and was all fired up over uranium deals and Senators Bob Corker and Jeff Flake.

Even though Flake and Corker voted with Trump over 80-90% of the time, Lahren attacked them for not upholding Trump's agenda.

"You'd think they'd be Democrats, " Lahren said. Perish the thought.

Steve Doocy asked her if Flake's departure was a win for Trump. Lahren said Flake was unpopular already, while whining about how tired she was of all these RINOs talking about their morals.

I guess the new definition of a RINO has nothing to do with ideology or the policies they support, but how much loyalty, love and shoe shines they throw Trump's way.

Lahren said, "You' re not doing anything to help President Trump and you need to go because you're not helping the American people."

Kilmeade then said, "Both men though did vote with the president 90% of the time. They just don't seem to like his tone."

Ainsley was under the impression that if Trump didn't endorse then they were part of the swamp. They ARE part of the swamp, aren't they? Ainsley earnestly wanted to know!

"The president didn't endorse them so now they are leaving. Is that what 'draining the swamp' is?"

Brian Kilmeade was suddenly perplexed too, "Uhhh, I'm not sure."

Then a MIRACLE! A light bulb went off in Doocy's head and he offered, "I think 'draining the swamp' is getting people on your team to be people in those 100 chairs in the Senate, as many as possible for him." WOW. He didn't have to even take a Poli Sci class for that!

These three buffoons have no idea about one of Trump's most vocal talking points (and promises) throughout the 2016 presidential campaign.

"Draining the swamp" meant getting rid of the government corruption, waste and fraud exacerbated by lobbyists in Washington, D.C. that was all President Obama's doing. or at least, that's the snake oil Trump was selling.

It had nothing to do with fighting with members of Trump's own party in Congress and it had nothing to do with putting Trump suck-ups in office either.

When he rolled the phrase out, Trump outlined these proposals:

"I am proposing a package of ethics reforms to make our government honest once again."

The reforms he outlined included an executive order banning administration officials from lobbying for five years after they leave office, which Trump said he’d also ask Congress to turn into law “so it cannot be lifted by executive order.”

(He forgot to bar administrations coming IN to the White House, though. Oddly enough.)

He also pledged to bar officials in his administration from lobbying on behalf of foreign governments for life; to ask Congress to ban former members and their staffs from lobbying for five years; to pass legislation broadening the definition of lobbying “so we close all the loopholes that former government officials use" by calling themselves consultants and advisers; and to ask Congress to ban lobbyists for foreign interests from making campaign contributions.

Does Sen. Jeff Flake fit into any of those categories, you idiots?
