Fox Host Admits Trump Lied About Not Telling Gold Star Widow 'He Signed Up For This'
Fox News' Outnumbered did their best to portray Rep. Wilson as a nut, but still had to admit that Trump didn't tell the truth about what he said to Sgt. Johnson's widow.
Trump, his son and his surrogates have their long knives out for Rep. Wilson for calling attention to Trump's myopic phone call to a grieving Gold Star widow.
Fox News' Outnumbered played some video and tried to characterize the Congresswoman as making light of the entire situation, but she was surprised by the Trump administration dogging her.
On the Fox News Insider website they highlighted Donald Trump Jr.'s tweet calling Rep. Wilson a "Disgusting person"
And then "Outnumbered" played audio of her reacting to the Trump administration, "You mean to tell me that I have become so important that the White House is following me and my words? This is amazing. That’s amazing. That is absolutely phenomenal. I’ll have to tell my kids that I’m a rock star now."
But underlining this whole segment was co-host Harris Faulkner, who admitted that Trump lied when told the press Rep. Wilson was lying about what he said in his phone call.
Faulkner said Frederica only "put out an incomplete sound bite from the president" about the condolence call.
She continued, "I mean, he denied it at first and he should have said he said it, cause he did, but it wasn't the whole quote."
Trish Regan jumped in and smeared her as being an attention junkie of some kind, but then, what about her?
Thank you, Harris. I know it was painful for you to admit that.
Trump didn't just deny what he said once. He did it on multiple occasions and then threatened the Congresswoman if she repeated her statements to the press again.
