Corey Lewandowski Changes His Carter Page Story: 'My Memory Has Been Refreshed!'

Do all Trump campaign officials go through a brain wash at Trump Towers' brain spa?

Former Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski was forced to admit he did know Carter Page and his now famous emails, telling Fox News, "My memory has been refreshed."

Do all Trump campaign officials go through a brain wash at Trump Towers' very exclusive brain spa?

Fox News' Martha MacCallum had Corey on to respond to the new revelations that he was aware of Carter Page's 2016 trip to Russia and where he met with Russian officials and discussed the presidential campaign.

In a previous Fox News appearance with Jeanine Pirro, Corey insisted he never met Carter Page and that Page was a nobody who had no formal role in the Trump campaign.

MacCallum played that video and asked, "How do you reconcile those two things?"

Corey stuck to his original story, insisting he had not met Carter Page and that Page had no role in the campaign. "To the best of my knowledge Carter Page had no formal role in the campaign that I'm aware of."

Notice how Lewandowski is now couching his words and doing a Jeff Sessions impersonation. He continued to call Page a low-level peon that he would have nothing to do with during the campaign.

"All I was clear about was, if you're going to travel please do not pretend to be part of the campaign, " Corey said.

That was weird. If he didn't know him then why make a point about clarifying Carter's position within the campaign traveling to a foreign country.

Martha caught him and said, "You do remember. You said you never met him, but you do remember that exchange. You do remember him sending an email that said I'm going to take this trip and you said, fine just not as part of the campaign. Is that right?

Corey got flustered and replied, "You have to remember in the context of the campaign world, now my memory has been refreshed," Lewandowski said.

Corey said he was leaving the campaign then and "with all due respect there were many other things on my mind that day..."

No, Corey just lied. How ironic that a Fox "News" host caught him in it.
