A voter wanted to know why two towns couldn't merge. She was passionate. Chris Christie was rude, as only he can be.

The only thing he didn't do was flip her off with his hand, but he did it, all the same.

"It's easier to sit here and kick blame, " he groused. "But you know what? That's the joy of public service...It's serving folks like you that's really such a unique joy."
