Don Trump Jr., made major news again when it was revealed that he was direct messaging with Wikileaks during the 2016 presidential campaign.

After attending a meeting with Russian operatives who promised dirt on Hillary Clinton, Junior is back in the fire since Wikileaks is the organization that leaked all of John Podesta and the DNC's hacked emails online, helping to stabilize and bolster the Trump campaign when it was heading sideways.

Inexplicably, Junior then released these messages to the press. (Is there any more correspondence? Maybe he should just publish his whole inbox?)

Trump's cable news legal defense team was on it, leaping to Junior's defense.

And remember if the Clintons did it then it is high treason, but if a member of the Trump team does it, it's the media blowing it way out of proportion because they hate Trump.

Kilmeade jumped in, "Don Jr., made a move. I'm gonna release everything I have..."

Brian admitted that it is disturbing to Trump followers to see this link with Wikileaks, but....

Ainsley was very proud of Don Jr. for being so transparent, though she shared his suspicions that somebody on the Hill leaked the news.

Doocy jumped in, "Somebody on Capitol Hill blabbed to The Atlantic."

Doocy continued, "The headline really actually sounds worse than apparently it is legally because when you think, OK, so, during the campaign Don Jr. is direct messaging with Wikileaks. But then when you start to look at what's going on, Brian, you mentioned Julian Assange. Julian Assange a year ago tweeted out that he had already contacted, direct messaged, Don Jr. saying, "Hey, you got that story about all your emails out there, why don't you give them to us and then we'll put them out." So, we knew that it was going on, now The Atlantic has got some sort of big exclusive where somebody blabbed. Although, according to the lawyers I have heard, no laws were broken. It just gives the talking point, "Hey, there's a connection, look, Russia, Wikileaks, Trump Jr."

Kilmeade jumped in. "The last interaction, one of the last interactions was, "Hey, if you guys lose the election, and you guys want to start a network, don't concede the election. Use that momentum to form a network and to help get momentum to launch your own TV network." OK. Thanks for the advice, I appreciate it."

Ainsley added, "Wikileaks was writing him saying, "Leak one of your father's tax returns." "Hey, Don, if your father loses we think it's much more interesting if he does not concede and spends time challenging the media." "Get your dad to tweet this link out."

And full circle to Legal Eagle Doocy, "The legal standard is did Don Jr. ask for something of value from a foreign national? And the answer is no. Was there collusion, whatever that is? Can't find it."

Don't you love they way they twist and turn into squiggles to justify away another appearance of impropriety between Trump's people and those that helped disseminate information illegally gathered that helped them win the election?

Rep. Jim Jordan would have been demanding a third special prosecutor today to investigate all of Chelsea Clinton's tweets and connections with Wikileaks if the shoe was on the other foot.

And he would have been nasty about it saying like father like son like mother like daughter.
