Judge Napolitano: It's Easy To Buy And Carry Rifles In Texas

Does anyone have to ask how would gun control laws would help?

Although Judge Napolitano is a fierce supporter of the 2nd Amendment and would love to see every citizen armed if they so choose, his descriptions of Texas gun laws is chilling.

News broke that the the Air Force made a mistake and said "it failed to follow policies for alerting federal law enforcement about this conviction..."

The Fox News legal analyst joined Varney & Co., to discuss this news and then described how he believed it affected the Texas mass murder.

Napolitano said, "Here is the law in Texas, if you buy a gun from Wal-mart, Wal-mart has to access the federal government's database which they can do in about two or three minutes. If you buy a gun from your neighbor or your uncle or nephew or a friend, there is no obligation to consult the database."

He's claiming that gun laws don't even matter.

On the Air Force's screw up, he eventually said, "He would not have been able to buy that weapon if the Air Force had done it's job but could have gotten the weapon anyway because of the ease with which weapons can be gotten."

Right, but what happened if instead of strolling in and easily buying a weapon from Wal-mart, Devin Patrick Kelley was forced to go an alternate route? Nobody knows.

Andrew continued, "In Texas, no permit is required to purchase a rifle and no permit is required to carry a rifle."

And that's one of the big issues regarding gun control in America.

There are roughly 300 million guns in the U.S. This is astounding and as we've seen, incredibly dangerous and deadly. Americans get killled by guns more than any people in the world.

The idea that any restrictions and regulations against owning a deadly weapon is an "affront to the Constitution" is laughable, but the NRA stooges in Congress do everything in their power to allow even mentally ill people to own lethal weapons.

Trump even signed an executive order revoking an Obama-era regulation that made it more difficult for the mentally ill to purchase guns.

We saw how grieved Gov. Abbott was over the shooting, but...

Two years ago, Gov. Greg Abbott of Texas @NRA.” On Monday he said the problem was out of human hands.

But you know, as Speaker Ryan boasts, our thoughts and prayers are really helpful to the murdered victims of these massacres.
