Chris Wallace Presses Rand Paul To Explain Why Trump Finds Saudi Explanation Credible
Sen. Rand Paul tried to filibuster his way out of answering Chris Wallace' question as to why Trump is accepting the bogus Saudi Arabia explanation on Jamal Khashoggi's murder.
Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) tried to cover for Trump as much as he could during an interview with Fox News Sunday's Chris Wallace and finally told the host he had no idea why.
After telling the FNS host that Saudi Arabia's new explanation was not believable, Chris Wallace asked why Trump is so gullible. (That's my interpretation)
Wallace said, "Trump was asked about the arrest of 18 people involved in the case and the firing of five officials, some of them with close ties to the Crown Prince. Here's what he had to say."
Trump, "I think it's a good first step, it's a big step, it's a lot of people. a lot of people involved and i think it's a great first step.
Reporter: Do you consider it's credible, their explanation?
Trump, "I do, I do."
I pronounce them man and wife.
Wallace then asked, "Does President Trump know something that you don’t, Senator, or frankly do you think he’s covering for the Saudis?”
Instead of answering the question or imitating Ralph Kramden ---
Set him straight please.
Rand Paul should know better than this, one would expect.
