Since I started Crooks and Liars, many things have changed in the online world — except for our mission, which is to promote progressive values and change, expose media bias, and Republican cowardice and malfeasance.

At this point in time, we need to turn to our readers for help more than ever. Google and Facebook are strangling the life out of our revenue streams (and online streams in general) and that's a reason why you see so many weird and distracting ads throughout the Internet.

The 2020 election cycle has just begun, and Donald Trump has gone off the rails completely. He doesn't even bother to hide his racism. When there is true outrage, he has his minions at Fox News and other Republican outlets try to whitewash his lies.

It's catastrophic.
