Fox News Furious Biden Is Using TikTok
Democrats won Gen Z by 28 points and Fox "News" understands why.
On Monday's Fox New' Outnumbered, the panel of conservatives were visibly angry at President Biden for using TikTok to get his messaging out after the Democratic Party destroyed Republicans by 28 points in the 2022 Midterms with the youth vote.
Fox Business host Cheryl Casone thought it was a great strategy and characterized the issues Gen Z voters cared about.
"Biden is gonna hit them on what they care about. Climate change, abortion rights, transgender rights, everything that that group is so vocal about, screaming about at Universities," Casone said.
Attacking climate change, abortion rights, and transgender rights (especially the LGBTQAI+ community) has been Fox News' and MAGA's priority. It's going to be a long time before Republicans appeal to the youth of America.
Former Trump liar and Fox News host Kayleigh McEnany admitted it.
"We know those voters voted in droves for Democrats," McEnany said. "28 points they won 18 to 29 -year-olds by in the midterms. They did that TikTok summit ahead of the midterms encouraging everyone to tweet Democrats."
Emily Compagno gave her usual word salad answer while whining about the TikTok audience.
"I don't know if they'd be asking anything. I think they would just simply receive the soundbites that this administration gives them," Campagno said.
(Kinda like how you transmit your messaging to Fox News viewers.)
"It appears, and in the process they are amplifying those influencers as something that is totally blowing everyone else out of the water," she said. "That's the president for every American, but it reminds me of, you know, when you go to LA and you're trying to get into a club and it's like, oh what's your last name?"
Has Campagno been shunned at a LA club? The horror.
When Trump openly courts evangelical Christian Nationalists, he is openly courting those religious influencers. What's the difference?
"They traffic in making people feel small because not everyone is equal in their eyes. So here, oh, you have 660,000 followers on Twitter, great, you're going to get your own briefing room," she whined. "That's more important than the average American who's paying their taxes, working really hard, and feeling the impacts of this administration's policies."
Yawn.
Same boring take.
Every person on TikTok is a mindless baboon. Yada, yada.
Kaleigh at the end of the segment did admit Biden is smart to do this.
"Purely politics, but very smart if you want to win an election, I must say," McEnany said.
Wow, that may be the first truthful words she's spoken on Fox News.
