Dennis Kucinich is so hot that it makes anal retentive troglodytes wonder how he was able to bag an intelligent hottie.

Glenn Beck is so not that he can only play with himself below the crawl thinking how lucky of a guy Kucinich is.

I hate Glenn Beck and he deserves to spend eternity getting bitch slapped in hell by all the people he disparages. I also think Kucinch has great ideas.

But, it's another for you commenters to say you actually liked this video. I was so creeped out by it I didn't even make it all the way through. Seriously, just because it comes from the left and endorses our point of view, doesn't mean we need to respect stuff like this.

Glenn Beck is another psychotic Reich Wingnut, like Mann Coulter.

Why are these people on the air? I can remember when tv networks had standards. They wouldn't allow this kind of garbage on the air. But that all stopped in 2001.

Mann Coulter was kicked off MSNBC in 2000 for insulting a candidate. But now in 2007, she insults candidates and stays on the air. Networks have no standards anymore.

Beck is a prime example of a conservative repugnacan, he appeals to the lowest common denominator. His typical viewer has roughly three dimly flickering brain cells and can't understand anything deeper than 8th grade humor.

I'm sorry to say I couldn't watch it either - just not good. That said, Beck is a slime. I appreciate the effort - just think Dennis should have something better.

Who exactly watches or listens to Glenn Beck? When I first saw him on CNN I immediately couldn't stand him. And why does CNN keep someone so unworthy of airtime?

I too couldn't watch the whole thing as it was too dull. Just because having a webcam doesn't make you into a journalist.

He opposed the War in Iraq from the start because he knew the WMD's were in his pants.

I just think it's unfortunate that in a video about the inanity of current journalism, they took the inanity in the opposite direction - praising Kucinich's looks and "sex appeal". Is that really any better than criticising it?

Glenn Beck: A Cause for Concern.

The same as Quaker Dave, I didn't have any direct input into the video - but Lordy, do I like it. The point of the video, if I remember the discussion correctly, is to point out that Kucinich is indeed a candidate and that only 35% of Americans even know who he is. He may not be electable, but he (and indeed all of the candidates) deserve equal attention and consideration.

To those of you who discount him, how much do you really know about his positions?

I appreciate what they were attempting, but the video is pretty awful. Lifeless, mechanical reading (like worse adult versions of the voice actors in the old "Peanuts" cartoons). Beck is another fuckwitted scumbag who says hateful, stupid things (like Coulter earlier this week), but again, he's irredeemable. This kind of rebuttal is maybe necessary, but seeing something this lame doesn't do wonders for Democrats. It makes them look kind of feeble. Kucinich is a good man, but I think he'd make a terrible president. You have to be a little bit of a bastard to be an effective leader. Not a total bastard, like the one we've got, but there has to be an element of that for strong leadership. When Kucinich was on Bill Maher's show a couple months back and said there's no justification for war, ever, he showed he was unfit to lead. War should be the last resort, but sometimes it's necessary and someone who doesn't feel that way is too crunchy-granola to be The Prez.

that's a pretty sad view you have of our leaders...I would say a leader needs to be Courageous and Decisive, but a bastard? even in the loosest sense of the word being a bastard doesn't make you a good leader, and we could do a lot better...I think you should hold a higher standard for someone you would follow.

Maybe bastard is the wrong word. Or too strong. But a peacenik like Kucinich is the wrong fit for the job of president. I wish we could have someone like him in the job, but we can't. I concede that bastard was the wrong word. I was thinking more along the lines of toughness, not sliminess (obviously). But there has to be an element of flintiness. It's not a job where softness is a virtue. Empathy, yes. Sensitivity, yes. Nuance, yes. Ethics, most definitely. But Kucinich is soft. One reason I think Clinton was so good was because at his core I think he's a decent man, but he can be hard when needed. Still, I'll own up to a degree of cynicism.

I am very happy the blogosphere exists to rip people like Coulter and Beck another hole but honestly, I put them in the same bag with Britney Spears, Paris Hilton and whoever those people are who keep shoving various body parts in front of tv cameras. They're all attention seekers and they give me plenty of opportunity to exercise my option to change the channel or the link.
The video looks like the kind of thing we used to put together when we were all stoned. Maybe that's what it needs?

Oh, and for the ones that thought this video was dull, etc. that's probably 'cause your lives are that way.
And for the ones that think Kucinich is a "peacenik" and too "soft"? I think he kicks ass. He's the only Representative I know of to start things off by filing a three-article bill of impeachment against Vice President Dick Cheney. That takes some cojones, vato.

I thought that the vid suffered for the lack of some production value, but watched it all the way through and enjoyed it on it's own merits.

Kind of wish that I could help with the making of the next one, in some small way. I know my way around Sony Vegas, for what that's worth.

Kucinich is a brilliant, fiery, articulate, passionate speaker. Transcripts of his best speeches literally give me chills. He's ethical, authentic and insightful. All that said, as much as I love the guy, DAYUM Elizabeth is hawt!
