"The sultan of sanctimony" - I love it!

I laughed my ass off at this the other night, Oreally is certifiable.

So is b'orly suing Tom Tomorrow yet?

Reich-wingers won't get the joke.

It was hilarious! I never miss watching Keith. Do you suppose Billo even watches Countdown? Wish I could be a fly on THAT wall...

Keith Olbermann totally rocks!

O'Racist is too much of a coward to watch an opposing view. Besides, as a reich-winger, O'Racist lives in a bubble by default.

Anyone else notice the large vaginal falafel pita in the cartoon that got splashed across the TV? I'm pretty sure the artist drew it that way on purpose.

Sheesh...C&L finally posts this! Just for the record, I am more inclined to believe KO than BillO on the size of Keith's junk! Call me, Keith!

It sounds like the crew has a lot of fun producing the show. I bet they sneak friends and family onto the set for a minute or two to watch Keith from the cable-strewn recesses far behind the cameras. The atmosphere on O'Reilly's set must resemble a funeral parlor where a wake is always in progress.

JD, I thought that was a very strategically placed pea!

Ya think? I'm inclined to think the camera lingered on the image for the exact same reason.

I'm not sure which was funnier--Tom Tomorrow's brilliant parody of BOR, or Keith's reading (and parody of BOR). A classic segment.

Great stuff.I bet Keith reserves that shit eating grin especially for "you know who"...
Olbermann's good for my increasingly fragile sanity.

Vegetarians.

Reading comics on the air? Who does he think he is, President?

(This joke at least seven decades out of date.)

Well, gotta say K.O. does a darn good B.O voice... Who knew he was 'that' multi-talented... As for the Falafel as vigina?... Well, overseas I....Ahh, naw, not goin there.... Well maybe just this much..I'd eat a falafel that looked like that... A vagina that happened to look like that... I ahh, naw... never mind... I was right the first time..... If it looks like that, time to see a doc..JD

No, call me, Keith! She's a right-wing plant!

It must be so wrong to be thinking about the size of Keith's penis.
Thanks, T.T.

I really don't think Keith is gay, JLee... give it up.

That was an awful nice of KO to plug for another cartoonist. C&L were the first place I saw Tom Tomorrow, and I have to wonder that KO makes his daily trip to the C&L site.

Well, BillO, at least Keith, unlike you, has a penis.

The cartoon captured O'Reilly's Conspiracy Theory bent perfectly...

The secularists have declared a secret war on Christmas and it's so secret I'm practically the only person who knows about it!

(snicker)...

...oops, I mean, Poor BillO....

Ah, what the hell...

Oh that shit is just to funny.

Coulter with a cute little falafel in her private place? I would think it would be more akin to a Venus Flytrap.

Yes - very nice capture of O'Lielly's natural paranoia - Really well done Tom Tomorrow ~~

<<<>> yeah, yeah, but who exactly is TT trying to convince, of what? Mr. O'Reilly is not worth nearly as much effort as he devoted to that cartoon.

Wow! Just heard RANDI RHODES speak in Michigan. Give her WE BELIEVE speech a whirl. http://www.therandirhodesshow.com/live/ Explains the patriotic duty to IMPEACH.

Keith gets better every episode. Poor billo. It's hard out there for a draft dodging, dirty novel writing, sexually harassing, restaurant stereotypist

Our local liberal weekly has been running Tom Tomorrow for about 10 years. I don't miss his cartoon. The paper is junk for the most part, they do reviews and some investigative journalism. It used to be a good paper, when it was locally owned, but it was bought up by some out of town conglomerate and it sucks. Sometime the journalism is good, but the reviewers all think that snotty is good criticism. Tom Tomorrow and Dan Savage and the calendar of events are the only real reasons I read it.

As for Keith's junk.....honestly...until just this moment..its possibilities have never crossed my mind......that's my story and I'm stickin....um...nevermind.

Circle the conspiracy around Billo. What a douchebag.

I laughed til I blushed at Olbermann's shit-eating grin. It's a given he's got 15 pound balls. It's nice to see Tom Tomorrow hit the TV. Unlike NYT, all mainstream news, NPR, Tom Tomorrow never faltered after 911.

Olbermann does more to promote Billo than to rid us of him. Billo loves it as his ratings continue to soar.

Is Tom Tommorrow the best bud of Tom Slick or Tom Swift?

don myers @ 41:

Continue to soar into the mud. His ratings are dropping. I would like to think it is because of Olbermann's community service pointing out the insane, but its more likely because his target demographic is dying of old age or they defaulted on their sub-prime loan on their trailer park.

Perhaps the only ones left are those who like to watch a train wreck.

My favorite part was at the end when cartoon o'rilley mentions the conservative duck as being funny, I cant tell you how much I would love to see Sparky the Penguin throttle that stupid unfunny duck (If you dont know what duck I'm talking about, go here; http://duckcover.blogspot.com/index.html ).

I didn't think Keith could say "penis" on an eight o-clock show . . .

Oh well, I guess I'm just showing my old age. 21 ain't exactly young these days . . .

The Gay and pervert O'lielly talks way to adoring of Olbermann's Penis.

I really wish Keith would stop doing this sort of thing. It's funny as a one or two liner, but come on - this is unbecoming a guy like KO. Funny, hell yes, but not helpful.

It's not funny. And he won't stop doing it because there are so many people (if you're reading this you're likely one of them) that love these utterly meaningless attacks on the far right while of course telling yourselves that centrists (slightly to the right) like Keith Olbermann represent some kind of serious opposition.

But I really shouldn't say that because even if you all stop getting off on this stuff, his paymasters will demand he keep doing it. Or develop some other similarly meaningless schtick while the world burns. Because, of course, its all the the fault of the neo-cons. Things were great before they came along. And save the lesser of BS for your buds. Not interested.

MadAsHell @ 46:

What exactly IS Keith Olbermann like, pray? Face it: he's no more a news anchor than Billo, he's a commentator. He has a spot on MSNBC because he talks about current events in an interesting manner. In addition to that, don't blame Keith alone; I'm quite certain he has to get permission from his superiors about what he can put on the air (I'm still kinda shocked that they okay'd the use of the word "penis" for a show that airs at 8 PM).

BTW Marc, I think the attacks on the right are a good part of the reason he has a show; people love it someone lashes out at their opposition (look at Bill's ratings if you want further proof), and Keith does that very well. Supply and demand, folks. Supply and demand.

Ahlyssah, supply and demand is exactly what we're dealing with here. Nothing more or less. The problem comes where sites like C&L don't explicitly say it but implicitly it is communicated that KO, this site and similar apparatus are somehow constitute a part of an actual political movement when really it is, as you imply, just another product not much different than the WWE Smackdown or whatever they are calling it now.

I agree that Keith is basically a news reader, but there are two important differences between his show and the likes of The Factor, et. al.;

1. He's way more intelligent than O'Reilly, and thus knows how to ask pertinent, germane questions
2. He's been known to acknowledge his mistakes on more than one occasion.

Granted he succumbs to the $ motive, and I find that distasteful. All that shit about Suri Cruise was beneath contempt, for example, and the personal attacks on those he disagrees with are inexcusable.

But he does an excellent job of calling bullshit when needed, on both Right and Left (much more on the Right I'll grant), and he can be pretty damn funny. Let's also remember that he was pretty much a lone voice on establishment news for a while.

as an aside, the special comments are getting tiresome...

I hear ya. Guess I'm just naive enough to think that fact would be obvious to the viewers!

The video has dissapeared.

[It's there for me-Sitemonitor]

I don't get it... because Keith Olbermann hasn't taken up armed struggle against the government and drive a car made from peanut shells, he's somehow part of the problem "as the world burns"??? It's a two minute comedy bit at the end of one episode of his program. Lighten up! Do you really want him to speak in somber tones in a constant stream of five-syllable words and dust off Ross Perot's pie charts for an hour every night? It's a news and entertainment program. You learn something, and have a laugh. The great activist and rabble-rouser Saul Alinsky wrote that "Ridicule is man's most potent weapon". Olbermann's (along with Moore's and Maher's) use of it helps pierce the aura of authority and gravitas many of the most dangerous people on the scene today try to wield. It's a good thing and serves a purpose and also entertains. None of that is bad.

Joseph @ 54:

they're makin' cars that run on peanut shells now? hot Damn I need to get me one o' dem!

In all seriousness Joseph, my point is that there's a line over which more harm than good is done.

The right wingers are furious over this. And concern trolls are warning of the dangers of a sense of humor.

My conclusion? It works! Keep it up, Keith!

I anticipate every Wednesday to pickup the local indie paper (City Paper ~Baltimore)
to read Tom Tomorrow's comic strip. Good to see it getting some (national) air time.
