Never saw the clip. Chris Shays must be very proud of his record. So proud he won't take questions from a Democrat who might be taping him. What confidence he has in his political philosophy and what he has done.
Apparently this guy doesn't like being a public representative and have someone actually find out what he's doing. Just vote and shut up I guess. Doesn't the President provide for the press to follow him around the country? What is this guy trying to hide or coverup?
I remember that Chris Shays guy.......the guys out there.....good luck Jim Himes. well I'm off to FDL....

I don't get it. Why is Shays so terrified of transparent government? Does he do some committee meetings nude or something? I mean, sure, some bloggers aren't really journalists. Some are. (Any more than Krystal and Rove are 'journalists' though they write pieces for major press). But what a whining ninny.
Maybe he was traumatized by the "macaca moment" and has had to refrain from tossing out egregiously racist statements now. Poor rich white guy, makes you kinda feel sorry for him. Or not. He's the kind of guy I can see railing on: "If you don't eat yer meat, you can't have any pudding. How can you have any pudding if you don't eat yer meat?"
I'm not sure why... he just seems like that kind of guy.
Shays is such an ass. When he ran last year, he attempted to be a moderate, then turned venomous during the election. He's since become a rightwinger and supported all of Bush's bs.
