If the race comes down to McCain vs. Clinton, guess who Glenn Beck is voting for?
Dang, he's not even smart enough to come up with original material.
But you know, I was thinking about this last night. Considering the next president inherits a country trashed and divided, what better way to gripe about how Democrats are ineffective than to have one in office that has to clean up after the Bush/Cheney travesty?

can I say asshat on here?
Limpballs and Beck are just rying to SAVE THIER Televison Carreer ASSESSSSS
who gonna watch after 2008, bush scandal revealed..................
(Gasp!)
Why, why... I'm shocked, frankly. Glenn always struck me as a Kucinich man.
Why does this clown still draw a paycheck for being on TV?
Why do I care about anything Glenn Beck has to say?
Oh, right: I don't.
"Limbaugh vs McCain"
That caption puts a twisted smile on my face.
VOTE OBAMA!
If Hillary gets the nomination, her opponents WIN either way.
If she loses...well, that proves a woman can't win.
If she wins...well, that will prove her opponents were right all along.
So sayeth the long-lost love child of Archie Bunker and Pat Nixon.
Listening to him trash McCain this morning was nothing short of fascinating. He said (I'm slightly paraphrasing) that "the last thing we need in the White House is somebody who is arrogant, has a temper, and thinks he's a five-star general." These wingnuts are something else. When a description like this fits the idiot whose boots he's licked the past eight years, then it's a good thing. But when this description is applied to McCain, it's a bad thing. These goobers are priceless!!
The right wing talking heads know that with Hillary or Obama in, their ratings and rantings go way up.
These wingnuts are terrified of Hillary. They figure support from them might hurt her in the primaries and then they won't have to deal with her.
Dr. Dean is making rounds this afternoon, and I hope someone clips his conversation with Tweety. I laughed out loud a couple of times when Howard refused to fall into his lame-ass traps.
I would think McCrazy would be right up their alley. Wait, he's not a boozing chickenhawk. Nevermind.
Nicole:
No offense, but you only thought of this last night?
I'm amazed anyone wants to attempt to clean up what we've been through.
i don't think its some obscure hit job on hilary.
i think tis exactly what they say. the party for decades has tried to reform itself into this far right neo conservative party. they'd rather preserve their mentality and wait 4 or 8 years to get to back at it (it is inevitable) than to have it all undone with a successful centre right president.
I really shouldn't even watch CNN in the morning just because they employ this fat doushebag!
I get ill listening to these jerks complain that McCain doesn't have conservative values. When did conservative values become limited to anti-abortion, loss of personal rights, foreign intervention, etc? These nuts think they own the Republican party. Don't get me wrong, I'm not a McCain supporter by a long shot. I just find it amazing that these shits are scared of his "librul" values.
guys like this feed off their talk radio gigs and the talk radio monopoly in general. how many fox viewers go there just to get a visual of what they've been hearing on talk radio. where would half these celebrity tv talking heads be if they weren't rechewing the talk radio weekly cud?
half these unwise irrational blabbermouths would be gone as soon as we get some new kind of Fairness Doctrine.
Beck:
What a repugnant sack of detritus. So is his assertion the same as an admission that his party, his president, his republican-controlled congress HAS made a royal cluster-f*ck of things and is dropping it into the lap of the next president? Sure sounds like it to me.
Personally, I can't wait. The adults, guided by an informed and less-brainwashed constintuency, will clean up what these degenerates have screwed up.
On the other hand, since the U.S. has hit rock bottom, there is no place to go but up. In fact, the office of President could sit EMPTY for the next four years, and things would still improve. So, whomever is going to be the next President will get the credit for improving things, whether they deserve it or not.
you know i would just love to bend these guys over
but fucking their brains is of no use.
this is so awesome
"Liberals" condone torture, believe in the Constitution, a balanced budget, checks and balances, the first amendment, non-preemptive war, separation of church and state, equal rights for all Americans. Where exactly does McCain fit into this equation?
Pericles @ 20:
Pretty much. Which is why the only thing that is significant about Beck and the Big Ass Pimple bloviating this way is the fact that MORONS that they are, they are admitting that the GOP has screwed the pooch and the entire litter.
Oops, I meant "condemn" not condone.
who does he vote for if it's obama v. mcclain?
goatsage @ 25:
Hah! I was thinking that was a typo.
btw, guess glenn isn't keeping up with ann's latest spin:
http://www.newshounds.us/2008/02/05/ann_coulter_already_lying_about_her_...
I can hear them whining already..........whom ever wins the Presidency....is sooo screwed.I'll bet that the repugs don't even wait a month before they start in on the next Prez....regardless of who it is.But we all know that's coming....
Coulter, Limpnuts and Beck against McCain? McCain can't be all bad.
oh and as far as Beck goes.....who cares....F!!K Him
Bonkers @ 27:
Compromise - condom.
What is the requirement for getting a job on CNN? Being a loud asshole seems to be enough.
I liked when he felt he had to defend his arguments from the laughing guy.
I'll admit that I have not researched this, but if true it would certainly throw a monkey wrench into John McCain and Joe Lieberman's plans:
"The Constitution has little relevance to the government, but still it's interesting to note that the crazed John McCain was born, to his state-connected parents, in the Panama Canal Zone. The Zone, the product of US imperialism under the crazed Teddy Roosevelt, was never officially US territory. That is, McCain was born in a foreign country, and therefore NOT eligible to be president, according to the Constitution."
Just informed my co-workers here in the heart of Texas that Beck has endorsed Clinton.
The response has been overwhelmingly uniform: "Who the hell is Glenn Beck?"
Warms my heart.
Glenn Dreck condom tortures?
joe cantwell @ 26:
Well then he's really in a pickle. Beck has reported that Obama is a closet Muslim. And he's half black!
He'll probably have to vote Nader.
Well, if the mainstream media is going to put right wing whores on their television political coverage like Beck, why can't they add some balance with someone from Code Pink to counter their views?
We all know that the anchors are one of three things:
1) Neutral
2) Neutral (slightly right leaning)
3) Rightwing nutjobs
How about balancing the scales?
Fucking CNN, what a joke. The FCC should adopt the elephant as its official logo
Abbybwood @ 34:
I haven't looked much into the status of the Canal Zone (official v. unofficial US territory), but McCain's father was an admiral in the Navy. As such, I'd imagine McCain was born in a military base which, I believe, makes him a natural US citizen - just the same as if he'd been born in Arizona (for example).
Whatever happened to voting one's conscience? If they don't like Clinton or McCain, then why not vote for a third party candidate, or write in their favorite man-crush? Instead, they'd rather vote to set someone up as a common enemy for their disintegrated coalition of fanatics and fringes. Even at their best, most people vote for the person they think is going to win, simply for the gratification of having voted for the winner.
If everyone in this country voted their conscience, then we wouldn't be in the crisis we're in now!
Research your candidates and study their positions. Ignore the pundits, polls, and predictions. VOTE YOUR CONSCIENCES!
(Today, I voted for Gravel. Because I felt he deserved my vote, after his debate performance last April. Because his is the kind of passion I want in office, not because I thought he'd win.)
My dislike of this man, so unqualified, distasteful, so hateful, so without even a modicum of class, is such that I cannot even look at him.
We have been attacked with hate and fear for 7 years and I have have had enough, if you have had enough quit watching them, quit participating in their attempts shovel their agenda down your throat, quit buying the products they advertise, turn off your television, do not give them the power that we bestow with our attention.
Sorry for the rant, I am tired of the crapola that does nothing, and empty of anything regarding the well being of anyone.
We can run them off the air you know, we are that powerful. believe it.
Beck's always been a hack, but he's never been particularly original within that.
Who even watching this crappy show anyway? Agani, THANK YOU C&L for at least giving us essential sound-bytes of the total SHIT that comes out of shows like this.
I thin these guys are testing the power they been obsessed with amassing for the last 20 years. They want to be the kingmakers, so they're betting they're farms that their ploy is going to work. If somehow McCain tanks, they can claim to be the power that did him in. That gives them greater leverage over how Romney will campaign in the general, and malleable Mitt will be easy for them to manipulate. They could never get that kind of fear and respect from McCain, and they know it. This isn't about anything faintly resembling "conservative values" (which more and more genuine conservatives are *finally* beginning to realize has nothing to do with what motivates the Limbaugh/Coulter/Goldberg axis. It's pure power for its own sake.
Maddy @ 41:
you've got nothing to be sorry for.......................you're not alone.
...and, this jerk gets paid how many millions to regurgitate this drivel? Eh?
OMG, they haul out that 'tard Beck even after they removed his brain from his ass. And, they still pay him!! HAHAHAH.
3 seconds...max.
Can't criticize the man for consistency or loyalty either. He's just following in the cloven hoof prints of his heroes.
mudshark @ 45:
Mudshark, Just curious and none of my business but I have to ask-does Frank Zappa have anything to do with your name and I say this smiling.
Orangutan. @ 1:
I thought there was a rule here against introducing this nonsense. Love his humor, love his music, wouldn't let him design a sidewalk. He didn't do so good in engineering school.
“The Constitution has little relevance to the government, but still it’s interesting to note that the crazed John McCain was born, to his state-connected parents, in the Panama Canal Zone. The Zone, the product of US imperialism under the crazed Teddy Roosevelt, was never officially US territory. Constitution requires that the president be a "natural born citizen" which one is if both parents are US citizens regardless where the birth takes place.
So a REPUBLICAN fucks things up....and now these douchebags want to see a Democrat get stuck trying to clean up the mess???
What a pathetic group of shitheads.
Ronin Tetsuro @ 35:
Same here, never heard of him. I barely have time to channel surf to listen to these people. I've never heard of most of them till coming on here and I've never taken the chance to tune in and listen.
Hopefully everyone else is too busy as well and can use their own common sense to make the best choices instead of listening to these clowns. I would like to emphasize "common sense" and add to that, informed unbiased research into the candidates.
stop it, nicole. just friggin' stop it, for christ's sake, please. the reason why C&L is still respected amidst all the hysterics is precisely because it hasn't (except for you, apparently) been blatantly biased for--or prejudiced against--either candidate. so please...just stop, okay? you're hurting me and a lot of loyal dems out there.
You know, i think this is another symptom of the mess. I've been saying for years that irrespective, the next presidency is a poisoned chalice. The mess is so great one term, even for a truly great president, won't be long enough to undo the crap caused by Bush.
Most Rethugs I know aren't intellectually honest enough to admit Bush is a f***up and Rethugs have no chance of getting the next presidency even tho they know it to be true.
The best way to 'win' now will be would be to reject the best Rethug candidate & get a democrat up. This way, they can satisfy themselves with a 'Told you they can't fix anything, if only we'd supported Rethug candidate X things would be ok.'
"My gut tells me" that the guy's a fruitcake dingbat. I like the way Glenn Beck slobbers while trying to finish his sentences.
http://movies.crooksandliars.com/beck-nukefree-102507.mov
Maybe they like Hillary because she...represents their interests and values? Sayin'
my god, i'm not even going to vote her and i'm supposed to believe they will. hah.
why is everyone so blind to the real reason these right wing nuts are claiming they'd support hillary if john mccain wins the nomination?
It's not 'cause they want a democrat to inherit bush's leftovers...
And It's certainly not because they think mccain is a liberal or not a real conservative...he's as right wing as they come--anyone who understands anything about politics knows that much...
So why? Simple. By painting McCain as a moderate (or a liberal) they make him seem like a moderate to someone on the fence between him and her or him and him...someone maybe a so-called independent or wavering democrat could get behind. In other words, they're doing this because they see a real shot at winning the white house! Duh. They want to win...they think they have a good chance of winning...and this crap about him being too liberal to vote for only helps him in an election like this where the country is tired of bush/republicans. It makes him seem like a Democrat. In fact, the stories about him nearly jumping ship and becoming a democrat or independent further help him. So we are left with an image of McCain as a moderate rather than the true image--the one where he is literally the spitting image of Bush in almost every way.
My god--how can you all not see this? It is so obvious! If there was one election where being a republican is as close to a death sentence as one could imagine--this is it. By painting McCain as the moderate/democrat in sheep's clothing...he is able to have the best of both worlds--present an image to democrats/independents as a moderate war hero and someone worth consideration and to the rest...well the rest know who they would really vote for if it came down to mccain and hillary or obama. Get serious.
At least the douche bags admit they screwed the whole country up and now are trying weasel out from under it.
So is anyone but us listening to this admission of guilt?
Beck = blithering idiot.
Boy, these neo-con jerks are getting desperate...when they'd vote for Hillary over McCain, you know they are truly fucked up.
He should be wearing his helmet.
Make no mistake about it. Having a Democratic president, especially Hillary Clinton, would GREAT for business for these conservative howler monkeys. Or course the likes of Coulter, Limbaugh, and Beck are rooting against McCain! Their fortunes hinge on whipping up their mean-spirited minions into a frenzy of Demo-hate and what better way to do that than to have another Clinton to blame for everything!
I expect coulter, limbaugh and beck are all having a great evening watching McCain more or less sweep. their strategies are not working out too well for them!
and let me add this...you ask yourself--who is a male democrat going to vote for? hillary clinton or a republican war hero hated by rush, coulter etc... ? men are really simple, stupid beasts at heart, and given the choice between a woman leading this country and a man (who apparently isn't really liked by republicans anyway)...guess who they're going to support? If obama proves anything--it's that most basic male instinct...
don't you get it? we are on the verge of another 4 years of republican war mongering... wake up. or don't. doesn't really matter...rovian-like tactics are evil-ing their way into the hearts and minds of americans once again
archmunster @ 60:

archmunster @ 67:
Are you f*cking kidding me? I think it's pretty clear who the simple, stupid beast is.
This idea that the next President will really be hamstrung by the mess left him/her is wide-spread and often leaves Repugs chuckling in joy - especially if they don't want a Repug to be in power then (i.e., those that hate McCain). In any case, the one candidate still around who could rebound real well from a loss, be it in the primary or general, it's Obama. If McCain wins, he'll be even older and less resilient in 4 years, there'll be even a
larger young vote, and Obama will have 4 more years of legislative experience under his belt. Really good news? If it's McCain/Huckabee ticket, they have nobody else in the wings, and Huckabee can't win nationally in 2012, if McCain turns out to be voluntarily a one term candidate. Fun, fun, fun.
All I hear is, "PAY ATTENTION TO ME!!! PAY ATTENTION TO ME!!!" I also see that Beck sees the success of being loud-mouthed, shocking and drastic, a quality that's been making Coulter and Limbaugh money for years!
Well, for Beck and Coulter, a vote for Clinton is just a sound career decision.
Archmunster has it right, sadly.
These knobs think McCain isn't conservative!?!? Aaaaaand yet they think Bush is?!?!?!?! Crap maybe someone needs to remind these uber-dorks of Bush’s unprecedented profuse spending.
Limbaugh, Coulter and Beck are not unique in their attitude. I think most liberals would rather cross party lines and vote for John McCain than a scum sucking traitor like Senator Joe Lieberman.
Of course Rush, Ann, Glenn and their type want Hillary over McCain, it will keep them employed. Who would listen to them if McCain were elected---they would get so much flak from within the Republican Party if they railed against a "President McCain".
Limp-paw knows deep down in that toilet bowl where his heart is, that the Repubs are taking a big thumping because the Nation is very impatient with the Republican rule into the ground. And with all the Republicans NOT running for re election they are going to take another beating. But Rush wants the Dems to take over to get the blame for Bush and his republican rule of many years. And they have run this Country into a clogged toilet.
That there is no ceiling to the cost of Iraq, a country the size of California. And no end with victory.
matter of fact, Lush Limp-paw is very aware that Bush and theConservatives have destroyed most of this country and placed it on the brink of bankruptcy. All to profit his friends and family. To hell with the rest of Americans.
Then idiot boy (Glenn Beck) must think that Reagan wasn't conservative either?
Beck wants one party rule and rule like his daddy ruled him. And he must have been abusive to Beck.
McCain/Fiengold bill etc etc,. Beck must think that if republicans are the majority then a democratic representative has no right what so ever to represent his district that elected him/her to office.?
But then Glennie will scream " bipartisanship" when his party is in the minority. Does Glenna know how many filabusters the reppublicans have inflicted since being in the minority? Especially since the Repubs were the ones that decried up or down vote?
Does Beck really have a viewership? Can that be investigated?
J.C. @ 68:
Would someone please piss in JC's ear and put the fire out in his brain...
Your comment was a nice attempt at dismissing mine...a nice try...a valiant try...but ultimately a failure. Kinda like you.
Tune in to Rush today and listen to him spin. Yesterdays results proved one thing - Limbaugh, Hannity, Ingrahm, Beck, etc are through being the major influences that they have been for the past 10 years. They will continue to wrap themselves in the "true conservative" flag but the fact is that even Republican's are tired of their shit. Can't wait to see Coulter out campaigning for Clinton.
I think Beck should give Suicide another crack, what is CNN thinking I mean this guy is such a TOTAL MORON who the hell watchs his show. And as far as advertisers, the people that do watch can not make a lot of $$$ with such a low mentality.
goatsage @ 23:
"Liberals condone torture"????!!!!!????? In what UNIVERSE?
No surprise that the noecons are coming out for Hillary - the neocons love their own.
>>Nicole: You know, I was thinking about this last night. Considering the next president inherits a country trashed and divided, what better way to gripe about how Democrats are ineffective than to have one in office that has to clean up after the Bush/Cheney travesty?
>No offense, but you only thought of this last night?
I’m amazed anyone wants to attempt to clean up what we’ve been through.
Exactly. I've always suspected they are paving the way for Jeb '12 ...
watch out!
Whither goest colter's withers?
Paul @ 81:
Oh PLEASE...you think suddenly the tons of neo-cons who tried to tear the Clintons down in the 90's are suddenly having a change of heart for people they try to nail to the wall day and night?
The 'neocons in support of Hillary' first of all are just headline grabbing media suckups, who want to make Hillary look just like YOU'RE INTERPRETING, my God man...
I wish you Hillary haters could think for yourselves; man you buy everything the media sells you, hook, line and sinker.
let me tell you what:
Obama's voting record is identical to Hillary's; so much for "change."
Obama is not on the record as supporting the military, except for voting for funding for a war he keeps trumpeting he was "against from the start" all while he had the luxury of 1)not being nationally visible, 2)Not in a position to VOTE ON THE RECORD, 3) representing the biggest Democrat stronghold in the MIDWEST...OF COURSE he's not going to voice support for a war he's not even able to vote against! DUH!
Obama sought Hillary out during his first term, just 3 years ago, for mentoring...Ohhh, nice identical voting record there buddy....
Which begs the question: Would someone who has an identical voting record to Hillary suddenly veer during a national crisis even despite the controversy that might cost him votes eventually, and vote in the opposite direction as the established Senator?
PLEASE...that's what Bill Clinton was referring to when he said "fairy tale." But most of you politically correct dumb ones bought the media's out of context, twisted, lies and linked it to race!!
Hillary did what she thought was best, when the IR was going to place weapons inspectors BACK into Iraq...McCain CANNOT come back and call Hillary weak on anything!!, Screw Obama's suggestion Hillary would be weak with "well YOU voted for the war too!"
As for the energy policy, don't worry...Obama will build nuclear facilities faster than you can blink.
Truth? Obama's winning by black votes, by and large..and HINT HERE: There aren't MANY BLACKS IN THE REPUBLICAN PARTY!
Truth? Obama divided by race when his campaign secretly "leaked" a memo outlining those 4 famous comments by Hillary/Bill, even though he knew there were taken out of context...the result? 85% of blacks voting for him where it counts, to keep him alive and give him a push...

Obama? N-Obama!
What a "richard" Glenn Beck is. He's scored a meteoric rise on my "big, flaming a**h*** " list since he got his own format on CNN. Why do they do that?
goatsage @ 23:
No, liberals ABHOR torture.
Except when it's a good looking blond in black leather corsets, and fishnet stockings.
archmunster @ 60:
My take on this is in line with Archmuster, but I have a slightly different take. My sense is that Limbuagh, Beck, and Coulters choice of candidate is Romney. The Right wing conservatives, like the Religious zealots are a small but vocal minority that carry a disproportionate amount of weight in the Republican party.
It looks to me like they are trying to scare moderate Republicans who are backing McCain into thinking they are going to lose the general election by having McCain as their candidate. Not only will they not support a Republican, but they will Vote democrat, and inflict twice the damage on the Republican party.
Dobson said he would not vote for the first for president if it is McCain, that is not as strong as Beck saying they would vote Democrat (inflict double damage)
This is a scare tactic used by the conservative Republican on air blow hards. Fear is what these guys sell and fear is what their listening audience buys.
Its primary season, and these conservatives are saying they are going to vote for Hillary or Barrack over McCain in November? That is just a lot of BS. Its a lame tactic. After McCain gets the nomination, they will go back to bashing Democrats, don't you worry.
Quite frankly I think Romney is the weaker of the two Republican candidates, so I think I would like to see him get the nomination. But thats just me.
two years of misery????
we've had eight years of misery with YOUR guy
It's pretty obvious that everyone, even the right, has stopped listening to all these right wing radio blowhards. They are having absolutely no effect on McCain's campaign. So bring them on, who cares what they are talking about.
"Goest" is second person singular; e.g. "thou goest."
How about "Whither Limbaugh and Coulter go, so goeth Glenn Beck"?
I read somewhere in the last few days that NPR had a quote of Boygeorge saying something to the effect that, "It's worse than you think and will be very bad" or some damed thing. I wonder if this, Limpdong and Speck 'voting' for Hillary, isn't some kind of warning that repukes should bail and let a Dem 'win' because it is so bad, there will be no way to fix it? I assume they mean the economy.
archmunster @ 77:
Since I'm such a simple, stupid beast and I do all my thinking with my dick and balls, I'm not capable of anything more. Sorry. I'm just an idiot mule who is only concerned with drinking, eating, and fucking. Me no like lady president. Me only vote for man. Aaaarggh! Thump, thump!
Fucking idiot.
Amused that all the liberals are defending McCain; and are angry that more conservative people like me are probably now going to NOTE vote for him because we are sick of McCain and Bush and don't mind letting the Republican party burn for a while. Don't think you don't need our votes to win, you certainly aren't a majority. Arrogant bastards.
