2. The religious right needed to get everyone all riled up about the 'decline of American Television' so they could get the FCC to fine the hell out of people and bring back state sponsored censorship.

What if the Religious right paid Janet Jackson some $$$ to do the whole wardrobe malfunction bit so they could energize their base, really make a non-story a big story, and go on their moral crusade that has really thrown fear into the networks? Sort of like indecencies own September 11th?

I am not looking at one side of the issue. I swear to God i wish that the Palestinians had adopted a stance of non violent resistance back in the 1950's. This matter would have been resolved by now.
