The <i>not based in reality</i> Bush Iraq speech

icon Download | play icon Download | play

I can't even watch this gibberish anymore. I started editing down the clip to find the most ridiculous statements Bush made on the war, but it's all ridiculous.

Here's the speech. Al-Qaeda is everywhere, but we're winning. Blah, blah, blah...

dday:

As if on cue, news came out that two Americans had been killed in rocket attacks inside the Green Zone, the city of Baghdad is under a weekend curfew, per MSNBC all Green Zone personnel has been told to stay inside fortified areas, and the Iraqi Army may have "faltered" in Basra...

My God, he looks like a man a decade older than he actually is.

Good. I hope the fucker has a stroke in the next week.

Isssh he drunk?

Good. I hope the fucker has a stroke in the next week.

I also wish for his demise, but then I have to wish also for the demise of Dick cheney since he's second in line.

This douchebag is more full of shit than if the top 3 fertilizer producers merged and built 1 airplane-hangar-sized plant.............

€Punk @ 2:

Isssh he drunk?

Can't you tell by the rougeish colour of his nose and cheeks and his overall leathery disposition?

Chimpeach!

Once again, I'll take your word for it that Chimpy is completely full of shit. I simply can't look at that douchebag's face or listen to that redneck drawl of his. The mere sight or sound of him makes me want to puke.

Anyway, looks like McCain will have to do some serious backpeddling on this issue. Just a day ago, he was insisting that Iraq was in better shape. Ahhhh, yeah. Now, even the "secure" Green Zone is up for grabs.

Just another reminder for the US to get the f*ck out of the Middle East.

Real douches serve an important function...President Bush, on the other hand, is a walking tumour.

Speeches like today's make me yearn for Billmon's wry commentary. From 7/06 Bush's speech:
"Today's actions in the Middle East remind us that the US and its friends and allies must work for sustainable peace, particularly for the children"

From Billmon: "Whenever Bush says these things all I can hear is the Devil, laughing at his own little joke."

Adolf Hitler and Eva Braun were both found "winning" in their bunker too.

Their demise at one point could have saved the lives of countless thousands of innocent people. I don't know how much good their demise would bring today other than to be able to chalk it off to karma.

Smug fuck!

non-reality based speech

why start now.
Put this monster in prison already.

Why is he being applauded?

Aaaaggghhh! He makes me crazy!

I would BET THE FARM that this bush administration is totally behind the instability that has erupted recently. Think about it. Without instability, then there is nothing to back the GOP rhetoric that our military MUST stay to help the poor Iraqis... and without the military, there is nobody to maintain the ONLY RUNNING RESOURCE IN IRAQ... the oil industry. And besides that, Chevron is in the midst of striking a deal for some o dat black gold as I write this.

Elsewhere, BO beat up Hillary on financial institution reform, although neither go nearly far enough. Meanwhile, McNutJob wants shred the last bit of regulation remaining.

Finished watching "bush's War" on PBS last night via Internet, and I can't even stand to see this lying son-of-a-bitch any longer. All lies, and all bullshit that his brain dead right clicks their heels to. Such a sad state of affairs.
Where to start? "the surge is working", "when stand up, we'll stand down", "no cut and run"....all these dog chants that the weak of mind keep repeating. I'm so sick of it. We really are a nation of idiots. Do they NOT realize he lied us into this war? Do they NOT realize everything we have been told...EVERYTHING...has turned out to be a lie?
Now the latest one, "the surge is working" is the mantra for this sick ass administration. They'll hang over our heads this "there will be a slaughter" when we leave crap, and we'll buy it for about another 2000 American military lives. Then, eventually, we'll leave and the slaughter will still be there waiting for them.
It's a sad day in American history, but I hope that another page in our history will be how we held these criminals accountable...or the world did. How history will reflect the truth and not a litany of bullshit. It's going to take us a lifetime to recover from this mad man and his spawn.

Reasonstein @ 14:

Why is he being applauded?

The same old story ... handpicked audience, applause signs and blackwater guards in the background to make sure it happens.

And don't forget those personal "coffers" that need replenished beginning in January 2009. Continued instability in the Middle East and sky high oil prices will do just that.

Try adding a laugh track. That should improve the video.

You know, I think Baghdad Bush is gonna stick.

If you don't lie your not a republican.

i'm so grateful to see this! you sure can't find a negative comment on the cable networks. why is it no one wants to talk seriously about the war? do they honestly think we care more about what obama and hillary said about one another today? we expect bush to be stupid, but when he makes a speech this idiotic on the very eve of what appears to be a major reversal in the conflict, when even our precious green zone is under deadly fire, isn't it time some commentator stepped up and faced things squarely?

Bush...reality...sounds familiar...oh yeah--2004:

The Bush aide said this “reality-based community” consists of people who “believe that solutions emerge from your judicious study of discernible reality.” Suskind nodded in agreement and muttered something favorable about the principles of the Enlightenment, only to be cut off by the aide.

“That’s not the way the world really works anymore,” the Bush aide told the journalist. “We’re an empire now, and when we act, we create our own reality. And while you’re studying that reality – judiciously, as you will – we’ll act again, creating other new realities, which you can study too, and that’s how things will sort out. We’re history’s actors … and you, all of you, will be left to study what we do.”

It should be obvious that the best way to deter more attacks from happening is for Bush's and Cheney's daughters to be rushed into boot camp and then sent to Iraq. Why have Bush and Cheney not realized that the best way to inflict more pain and misery upon the Iraqi people is for their daughters to lend their presence in that grief stricken and war torn country?

OK, fuck it, I tried but I couldn't finish watching it... Some kind of bullshit thank you going on at the Wright/Patterson air museum in Dayton I guess... Whatever.. I can't stand to watch or listen to that sonofabitch anymore... If I say anymore than this.. Nevermind the site monitor, the freakin NSA will be out to get me.....God I just wish he would leave power today and take that psycho VP with him... But, I guess, given the totally gutless nature of this congress and house, we're all just going to have to slog thru and put up with his shit for another 10 months or so.... Man, I think I need a doubleshot of aged bourbon.............JD

I just wonder if anybody can HONESTLY tell me anything GOOD that has come out of the Iraq War, the "surge," or Bush's entire presidency in general. No B.S., no spin, just an honest, VERIFIABLE fact of something GOOD (as in "not destructive to life, liberty, or the pursuit of happiness" at the very least).

Anyone? Anyone?

Unless Congress impeaches Bush and Cheney (won't happen), this will be the only administration in my lifetime of which it can be said, "Nothing good ever came from Bush."

Hagel called it another Alice in Wonderland moment.

Too bad he did not call for their resignations.

They get a free pass.

I want to laugh at bush, but then I think he's laughing at us for all the crap he's dumped on us. Nine more months, sheesh!! Can't we put him into early retirement.

I'm not fooled by Bush's cautions anymore. I now believe them to be threats to the American people.

Dick Cheney trusts the polls in Iraq, but says "SO" to the American public.

F-em'.....F-em' both. Traitors

"The not based in reality Bush Iraq speech"

Really, when was a Bush speech *ever* based in reality? You're giving him far too much credit.

I was unable to watch more than a few minutes of his babbling nonsense.

And yes, he looks like he's thrown all pretense of self-control to the wind and is probably drinking like a fish.

He's realized he's the empty suit President, the last Republican for a long time, if ever (and I hope it's ever just to teach the stupid bastards who put him there a lesson), and one of the most hated people on the planet.

What else to do but drink? And pretend he's legitimately the President for another 10 months.

Mike Malloy's gonna have a field day with this tonight - I'll try to listen to it then. I just can't stand the sound of this freak's voice anymore. Hell, I even tried to read the entire transcript and I can't. It's all total bullshit - at least 70% of this country knows that, but that won't stop the trained chimpanzee newsbabblers from hailing this speech as if some new, monumental revelations had emerged. Same old shit, delivered in the same old coccoon - this time an Air Force museum, in front of the same old handpicked stooges who would applaud even if this scumbag just announced he was about to take a shit on all their mothers. Enough of this fucking charade!

John,
When bush says, "we are winning," he's absolutely telling the 100%, God's honest truth.

Your mistake is assuming that you, me, and anyone not on the board of directors of Halliburton is included in "we."

Here's proof of the fact that someone, is indeed, winning in Iraq.

Numbers don't lie.

Peace.

They can't win either way.

Either the surge worked, and OUR TROOPS CAN COME HOME, or the surge is a failure, and OUR TROOPS MUST COME HOME.

Cheaper Gas?

The only reason violence WAS down was because St Patreaus bought off the sunni insurgency and is now backing them, the other reason is because Al Sadr called a cease fire, which is now coming to an end, thus violence is back up, had nothing to do with Bush's troops escalation.

Watch Wolfie the Beards interview with Chuck Hagel today Chuckie basically called out Bush on all Chimps bullshit. I think the words "arrogance" and "incompetence" came up numerous times.Still an understatement but getting closer.

RW Says:
"I would BET THE FARM that this bush administration is totally behind the instability that has erupted recently. Think about it..."

The 'Savings and Loan Debachle', Profiting from arms for hostiges, BCCI, ENRON...

Just a little more debt for the tax payers - No big deal.
I'm getting $600.00 back!!! I'm stimulated and stable!!

Don't forget the billions unacountable - Evedence and story destroyed by 911...

You know, whenever he starts telling terrible stories about ooga-booga terrorists or the former Saddam Hussein regime in Iraq, he sounds more like he is trying to to tell a scary campfire story and not actually addressing a room full of adults concerning grave topics.

[tosses up hands]

Bush does have some super duper highspeed Teflon in his suits...You have to give him that.
Treason, War Crimes, High Crimes and Mistomeaners...
Even his Tour of Duty over Oklahoma...
No buddy ever got anything on Bushy Boy!

That's conections!

Chuck Hagel all but called Bush a loon today in CNN interview. And when you contrast Hagel's combat record with the years McCain spent in tortured incarceration, it's easy to understand why he possesses a grip on reality that eludes the Man From Arizona. Or the birdbrain from Crawford, for that matter.

"And when you ask them how much do they want,
All they answer is more and more and more..".

Oh wow. Siegelman's been released? Did I read that right? Where are theblogs on this?

Why does the WarPig even bother? Doesn't he realize every time he opens his pie hole on national t.v., people are wishing he would just simply drop dead? Does everyone else tend to change the channel when he speaks? The only intelligent thing he said was to thank those who wear the uniform. Then the lies... something about winning, and accomplishments and progress the Iraqi Government has made. Bush$Co is proof that if you repeat a lie often enough you believe it's the truth. How is it these criminals are allowed to get away with it for so very long. What's happening to our country that buffoons such as these are allowed to govern?

Yes I agree, he sounded like he'd been swilling down the sauce.....again.

"Citizens who were once hostile to the coalition have switched sides and are now joining with us."

dumbass they're still hostile

The American forces responsible for overseeing "volunteer" militias like Osama's have no illusions about their loyalty. "The only reason anything works or anybody deals with us is because we give them money," says a young Army intelligence officer.

http://www.rollingstone.com/politics/story/18722376/the_myth_of_the_surge

Stole his elections.
Did 911.
Had war against Iraq planned out, lets see when were those secret Chenny meatings...

We been played people and he is getting away clean as a whistle.

There are some reports which suggest the paid off ex sunni insurgents, noww called "the awakening councils" or "concerned local citizens" are getting pissed off now as well, possibly ready to go on strike.

"How is it these criminals are allowed to get away with it for so very long. What’s happening to our country that buffoons such as these are allowed to govern?"

I saw the whole thing!!!
First they stole Florida and used the Supreme court to stop our democratic proccess. Then they flew 2 really big planes into...

Lets see, What part did you miss?

Would love to see this war criminal brought to justice.

> I also wish for his demise, but then I have to wish also for the demise of Dick cheney since he’s second in line.

That's letting 'em off too easy. I wish them both a long, long, long, long life. A long one. In what Donald Rumsfeld called 'beautiful, sunny Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.'

I don't want to be selfish but what about me, what about us, Americans. This guy would make a great president of Iraq. Does he even know we are here? When this guy leaves office it will be the end of an error.

Worry about your own people sir.

Impeach 1st hang 2nd
BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE!!!

Yes, Dick too of course!

"I can’t even watch this gibberish anymore. I started editing down the clip to find the most ridiculous statements Bush made on the war, but it’s all ridiculous."

This is EXACTLY what I was thinking this morning when the MSM announced he was going to give "A major speech." And, I thought I would catch hell for saying so. Nontheless, I haven't watched much of anything he has said in the past 5 years because most of what he says IS pure gibberish. When has Bush ever made a speech worth remembering let alone cogent?

how does anyone have the patience to even listen this moron anymore. HE IS AN ABSOLUTE FAILURE!!!!!

I find it ironic that he mentioned elections that were shams.

This man should not be president of anything. Even his old idol, Regan, thought he was an idiot.

Bush should be in prison... or worse.

Didn't war criminals used to be tried and executed?

How many generations of Bush family are going betray this country? How many are going to escape punishment?

Helluva video. Who was that stupid son-of-a-bitch anyway?

As much as I would love to sit here and watch our president in this meaningful speech, I must go. I watched the first minute, then felt a sharp pain in my ass. Do you think the two could be connected?

This man has been, is, and always will be a complete embarrassment. How in the hell did half the country feel compelled to elect this moron, fraud notwithstanding?

Any time you mix the military-industrial complex,
And an Right wing Evangelical Fascism.

This is what happens we all saw it coming and did
nothing so who is to blame for where we stand now.

The United States Congress did nothing to stop it,
Anyone that stood up and said hey something is wrong here,
Was mocked and called Unpatriotic.

Just look back at all the Generals that have Retired,
And when Ambassador Wilson stood up and said something is
not right here what happened Robert Novak disclosed
Wilson’s wife’s classified covert CIA identity as “Valerie Plame”
in his syndicated Washington Post column.
An overt act of TREASON and yet nothing is done about it,

Tell me how that went over down at CIA headquarters you got
the picture don’t speak you mind or else we will out you.

Freedom is not free and The President of the United States,

exploiting effective propaganda and who then pursued an aggressive
foreign policy, with the goal of seizing control of the world.

There is an old saying remember history or you ard doomed to repeat it.

Reasonstein @ 14:

Why is he being applauded?

Hell they applauded somebody because she was the great grand niece of one of Wright brothers (might have the details wrong but I couldn't stand watching the clip again to check). Obviously this hand picked audience would applaud anything they were told to applaud. Freakin' mindless drones.

What Bush meant to say was:

"It was only eight years ago that America became one of the most brutal dictatorships on earth, totalian.....ttttto...totalitarian nightmare where any election is a sham and dissenters often found themselves arrested and imprisoned on trumped up charges."

the smirk this dickhead gets on his face everytime he mentions bombs or war makes me sick. I can't stand to listen to him anymore, it really bothers me that that there is even ONE person that still supports this ass clown. the fact that he still has nothing better to talk about than his fucking war in iraq as our country gets served up to the tidy bowl man is beyond my ability to grasp.

Economy...real estate....unemployment...corporate outsourcing...why is diesel $4 a gallon...THE VALUE OF A DOLLAR. Damn, talk about reality.

Thanks but no thanks. Some you took it for the team, and I get the idea.
..same old bush-it.

“The battle to reclaim democracy is going to be a difficult one. It is a battle that must range across continents and countries. It must not acknowledge national boundaries but, if it is to succeed, it has to begin here. In America. The only institution more powerful than the U.S. government is American civil society. Hundreds of thousands of you have survived the relentless propaganda you have been subjected to, and are actively fighting your own government. In the ultra-patriotic climate that prevails in the United States, that's as brave as any Iraqi or Afghan or Palestinian fighting for his or her homeland. I hate to disagree with your president. Yours is by no means a great nation. But you could be a great people.”----Arundhati Roy’s Speech, ‘Instant-Mix Imperial Democracy’ at Riverside Church, Harlem, NY; May 13, 2003

The crux of the matter is the legality of US and few other states war of aggression against Iraq. All other diverging qualifications of subsequent failures are nil, e.g. working or nonworking surge are only empty words if the war was illegal to start with. What can be legal about invading an independent country? It couldn’t be only using euphemisms like preemptive or preventive for a textbook war of aggression. Right?

It is all blah blah blah at this point. Has been for a long time. You can almost mouth the words along with him as he speaks. He says the same bullshit every time. God, he is such a dick.

Drunk people shouldn't try to say "Orville and Wilbur"

The more Bush talks the further down the toilet McCain goes.

What about those daring pilots of the Texas National Guard who failed to report for duty?

Um, has anyone else noticed that all the news stories on the "troubles" in Basra and Baghdad seem to be bending over backwards to mention that the "Shiite extremists" are being supported by Iran?

It's like "Violence Iran broke out today Iran in Basra Iran where extremists Iran Iran Iran targeted civilians Iran in the Green Iran Zone Iran."

The surge HAS worked. Perfectly. The surge, as Bush said, had two goals:

1) silence any calls in the US for an end to the war
2) create the pretext for the next war on the basis of the surge's overwhelming "success."

And John McCain will be popping up to tell us how we have to go into Iran now to "secure the successes" of the surge in

"My friends..."

I couldnt listen to more than half of it. I'm sure the half I skipped was no different than what I listened to.

This is a measure of their desperation, this continual drumbeat of Al Qaeda this, Al Qaeda that. They have increased their steady tempo of scaring the sheep into submission as their many war crimes increase, now the lies spout faster than ever.

What percentage of the Deciders speeches contain reference to Al Qaeda or the military since 9/11?

The sole focus of this idiots comments since 9/11 have been Iraq, Al Qaeda or 9/11 ( and occassionally) Afghanistan . When Bush toured a flooded New Orleans, did he say how grateful he was Al Qaeda was on the run in Iraq?

If the fact that THEY are fighting US is a sign of desperation on their part, what does the fact that WE are fighting THEM suggest?

He reminds me of a 5th grader trying to act like an adult.
(no offense to any 5th graders out there).

Nice to see another "this moment in history" moment!

When the history of this era is written, it will show that the Air Force -- and all of Americans' Armed Forces -- performed with unfailing skill and courage blah dee blah dee blah

Keep 'em coming, Mr. President!

“In his unstoppable commentary about himself, Bush has become as certain of his exalted place in history as he is of his policy’s rightness. He projects his image into the future, willing his enshrinement as a great president. History has become a magical incantation for him, a kind of prayerful refuge where he is safe from having to think in the present. For Bush, history is supernatural, a deus ex machina, nothing less than a kind of divine intervention enabling him to enter presidential Valhalla. Through his fantasy about history as afterlife — the stairway to paradise — he rationalizes his current course.” - Sidney Blumenthal

JasonS, it suggests to me they have Democracy on the run, as well as those super scary Al Qaeda types.

He's slurring. The only time slur is when I am drunk.

Of course, I've never sent thousands off to die for a lie. Does that make you shlurr?

God won't bless America, sorry but that's the truth.

Bush painted such a rosy picture of Iraq that I found myself wondering why he wasn't announcing the troop withdrawals he promised.

St. None The Less @ 82:

God won't bless America, sorry but that's the truth.

Well said and yet Obama was so quick [ because of political expediency?] to distance himself from Rev. Wright because his pastor had the temerity to utter uncomfortable truths about the U.S. Apparently the last thing a politician will do is admit the many evils that the United States has committed against other countries, perhaps realizing that he will not receive many votes by acknowledging that the United States is not quite the beacon of truth and justice that the mass media wishes it to be.

someone please give bush a gun and tell
him he can raise his IQ with just one shot to
his temple.

did he really say that the "dissenters" would "find themselves in a mass grave"? Unless Saddam has some secret zombie farm going, i don't think that one can "find themselves in a mass grave", you know, being dead and all.

"I can’t even watch this gibberish anymore."

Man, you lasted much longer than I did. I haven't been able to watch one of his 'speesches' [sic, or should I say 'hic'] since about 2004. I get the low-lights from here or the Daily Show.

Yes Georgie...it took two, 500 lb bombs to kill a 170 man. You have 300,000 troops, all kinds of 4 & 5 star generals, multitudes of CIA & Blaclkwater contractors over there with no shortage of firepower but yes George...it took 2 500 lb bombs. Is that suppose to impress us or just show how ineffective the Leaders, leading all those "boots on the ground" are?
Your fighting 60,000 guys in sandals and makeshift, weaponry, found through scavenging. Walk proud Georgie....I know I feel really safe. What would be the chances if China or North Korea just said...fuck it and dropped in on us?
With leadership and fatcat attitude (a hungry dog fights with the most tenacity) I'm kida scared to tell you the truth.
But like the last 7 1/2 years of this state of denial you've lived in...I can see why you're just about ready to get that "mission accomplished" banner up again.
And this is from the mouth of the leader of the free world.....voted in by intelligent people....

Can I hear a hmmmmmmmmm....

Bush and his master Dick Cheney indeed comprise the worst and most harmful executive administration in American history.

In my opinion all the souls of those people killed on American soil on September 11, 2001 in New York, Pennsylvania, and Washington are glaring at Bush and Cheney with disgust and with a mind to cursing their souls.

If a hell really exists, an especially hot corner of it has been created to receive the souls of Geo W Bush and Dick Cheney.

bush is The Destroyer, plain and simple.

I'll pay attention once this War Criminal is behind bars.

...

Like Hulk@18 I just finished watching "Bush's War" so there is no way I can watch this clip of him once again talking out of his ass.

The thing about "Bush's War" is that we knew pretty much everything that was presented in it. When it comes at you bambambam though you're just left even more speechless as to how utterly clueless most of these people are as well as the petty infighting for power that has scared so many lives. At least our thoughts that Bush's plan for the last two years has been to run out the clock and turn it over to some other sucker to clean up have been confirmed. Just like every other mess he's ever created in sad pathetic silverspooned life someone else is left to pick up the pieces and make things right.

In the end though I was left the saddest by the fact that the Democratic controlled Congress that was elected to address this war haven't done anything to get us out of this fiasco. We shouldn't be surprised by the actions of Bush, Cheney, the Republicans in Congress, and the rest of the NeoCon faithful. What needs to be answered is why have the Democrats been so helpful to BushCo in continuing this illegal war?

Seriously... I can't stand to hear this burbling halfwit attempt to speak ever again. It's become such a tragic spectacle, I almost, ALMOST feel sorry for him.

I can't even stand the sight of this little fucker. He looks just like his mother whose picture you see on the one dollar bill!

" A totalian terror nightmare" and "his elections were a sham"...was this idiot talking about himself?

murderer

Here check this out and you will see why Afghanistan is on the back burnner.
CONSPIRACY THEORIES

http://www.cbc.ca/fifth/conspiracytheories/speculation.html

Hey, so here is what the neoclowns just don't get. Americans voted BUSH in (sorta)! Does anyone think a Reverend will keep Obama out of the White House, if a presidency based on lies got Bush a 2nd term????

He sure has a lotta balls to stand up there and spew this crap.
i cant even listen to more then 20 seconds or so before i turn it off.
i wonder if he even believes what he's saying anymore?

The stress of being a war criminal and all-around dumbass loser has gotten to Chimpy. He looks and sounds totally out of it. If he makes it through his last nine months without having a stroke or heart attack I will be surprised.

I'd like to thank all those who kissed my ass and worshiped my stupidity allowing me to stand up on this stage and pat myself on the back for being the worst US president in this nations history.

Quite aside from the bullshit in the speech, listen to how he hijacks the opening of a museum for the purposes of congratulating himself.

"That's enough about you, let's talk about me!"

So what else is new ? Sheeesh , it's Bush , should we expect anything else but bullshit and gross stupidity from the chimp ? 99 it's not having a lot of balls , it's an exhibition of the gross stupidity of a low life silver spoon fed bum who in fact isn't qualified to manage the local pizza parlor .

War is just so joyous; george; is it not? Many would love to applaud you but they no longer have hands.

Canada tells it like it is.

The Lies that Led to War

Now, as the White House warns about the latest threat in the region,
this time from Iran,
Examine the deception, suspect intelligence, even lies
that convinced the world of the rightness of targeting
Saddam Hussein.

What are these 'esch-tree-mishsts' he keeps talking about? I don't understand!

This guy is a living nightmare

He is based insomething and it isn't reality that is for sure.

We seen how proud HW Bush is.

Jeb must be proud of his brother as well.

..."There´s nothing wrong with having famous relatives, he, he..."

Agree - but it's pathetic to have such a moron for president - not only WHAT he's saying, but HOW he manages to say it and (sometimes) complete a sentence.

If one had slept over the past 8 years one could think this is an extremely talanted impersonation of a drunk maniac.

I wish him a long, long live. Another 50 years would be great.

So he could witness, for himself, how "kindly" history treats him. How he's gonna be enshrined in his rightful place of being the worst democratically (sort of) elected s.o.b. in the history of the modern world.

He should have to sit there, being 90, being 100 years, and weep about the history books. Lonely, in his little sorry excuse for a presidential library...

That - or in jail, of course. We can always hope.

Who'd a ever thunk the 29%'ers could be this strong! And soon,.......McLame to step up to the plate! *sigh*

The fact is, Americans were fed up after 4 years, this arses popularity rating was very low AND HE STILL GOT IN. What does that tell you?
Now, 4 years later and the country really pissed off at the Republicans....McCain/Obama/Clinton are all tied in popularity. What does that tell you.
If Ilived below the 49th I'd be scared as hell that after all this, my country very much looks like it is willing to go through 4 more years of this.
And.......what does that say.
There'd be no chance an administration who screwed up this badly would remain in power, here in Canada.
Christ, we call for an election because of boating contracts. But when Canadians are pissed, we show it at the next election.

Aren't there bullets in those military people supposedly sworn to protect the United States? Use one. Right there. The big, fat, empty, vacuous, melon. Please we beg you.

His arrogance can be seen right in his facial countenance. The dipping of the upper lip in a closed mouth fashion. He finds it disgusting to have to speak, and even speak in front of these "entities" that do not deserve his presence. It is as clear as the smirk on his face.

Oh sweet god, I think I just died a little more inside. That stupid smirk and that infuriating head twitch! All while spouting complete and utter bullshit. This ass hat insist on talking to the American people like they are children(am I giving America too much credit?). I think my left arm went numb from watching that.

Couldn't watch it. Takes away too much precious time from playing Russian Roulette with myself.

I tried reading the transcript...what a bunch of BS...I made it about 3 paragraphs.

99Lufballons @ 114

No! First cheney, THEN bush...and then all the rest.

The Islamic Republic of Iraq thanks you, President Bush, for fighting a war in their country so there won't be war in America instead.

Gibbets for gibberish!

Bush: "...and I'm proud to be sending you to your needless death so I can continue to enjoy the title of War President."

Bush is Ossama @ 53:

"How is it these criminals are allowed to get away with it for so very long. What’s happening to our country that buffoons such as these are allowed to govern?"

I saw the whole thing!!!
First they stole Florida and used the Supreme court to stop our democratic proccess. Then they flew 2 really big planes into...

Lets see, What part did you miss?

Yeah.....what he said

I can't bear to listen to this rediculous speech. I'll save myself the misery. Everytime he makes speeches like this I hear "kachink!" the sound of money going into the pockets of the oil companies and war profiteers. I am a Christian and this man is NOT a Christian. Thou shalt not kill.... Bush is taking showers with blood everyday. And what gets me most is that he still smiles.

Jeez, John Amato, you got more perserverance than I got to watch this asshole. Kudos to you for being able to sit through this without reaching for a barf bag. I just can't do it anymore.

When will you chickenshit assholes storm the white house and [Deleted. We DO NOT advocate violence at C&L and we DO NOT tolerate such advocacy in the comments section. Please refrain from advocating violence in future comments. Site Monitor]?

Someone replied to this statement by saying, "We're civilized...we don't act like that..."

Oh my mistake...you only act like that in other people countries...and as long as YOUR life is good...who cares how many innocents your terrorists in uniform kill.

4000 dead terrorists and counting.

I left the IZ this past Sat for camp Victory, which so far has been compleatly peaceful. I personaly think the Iraqis are trying to show jr how "successful" his surge really is, I hear the palace embassy caught on fire again.

"From the Great War, the aces of WWII, Vietnam, and the last 6 years"
Hmmm, he forgot to mention the Korean War and the first Iraq war- Maybe it's like "Oh, so many wars and only so many digits on ones paw..
