Tomorrow is the third-year blogiversary of one of the best writers (and Photoshoppers) on the internet. And this classic from his blog is quite timely, given Zell/Lieberman's appearance today.
Happy Blogiversary, Driftglass. P.S. Steve Gilliard would be very proud.

AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH Hide the fucking kids OMFG!!!!!1111!!!11
yeah! that's about right.
That is some scary photoshop...or is that his real face =/
Isn't it amazing how Photoshop can make an ugly loser look near-human?
thats the look he gets everytime Cheney jams his arm up his ass so he can control his lips.
It really puzzles me that Democrats couldn't see through this bum a long time ago.
Back in '06, Holy Joe threatened to convert not only to 'Republicanism,' but to Christianity as well.
Holy Shit...that scared the hell outa me!
Please do it again and happy blogiversity Driftglass.
Bush was a guest at "Presidents Day" as the Nationals played the Braves, and was interviewed in the booth. Even with the announcers playing with kid gloves and tossing up nice little softballs to expound upon, Bush sounded utterly clueless.
He'd surely be the worst salesman on the lot, but Daddy owns the franchise, so just put him in charge of it.
"For years the rumors had circulated...but there was never any proof...and then an actual photo of The LieberBeast surfaced."
Holy crap!!! Ummm...just remembered that Holy Joe LIEberBush is already full of just that.
OK, that's just fuckin' creepy, man. I will not be getting much sleep tonight, I assure you!
Happy Blogiversary, Mr. Glass. I just want to say that I never knew anybody who could write with pure, unadulterated nitroglycerine before I started reading you.
I remain a sincere admirer and a true fan...
I won't be able to sleep tonight! I'll be wondering if that's under my bed!
That pic is plain out freaky.
Maybe with his real picture should go his real name, Lie-vermin?
Unicorn chaser... PLEASE!
Who replaced Lieberputz's sedatives with pcp?
Move ovr Evil Dick - Evil Joe is seeking your place
Finally a picture comes out that actually depicts the true nature of these ghouls.
Shit! That picture scared the crap out of me.
On Sunday, Senator Lindsay Graham (R-SC) showed once again that President Bush, John McCain and their conservative amen corner can't tell the players in Iraq even with a scorecard. Even as Graham proclaimed of the fighting in Basra, "the militias that we are fighting are backed by Iran," President Bush and Vice President Bush continue to embrace the largest Iranian-backed political force in Iraq, the Supreme Islamic Iraqi Council led by Abdul Aziz al-Hakim.
For the details, see:

Oooooooh - I like that . . . .
*
I agree with others who say that the picture is really scary.
But then when you look at it - and give yourself the mental image of LIEberman's normal expression - it's very funny.
*
Ron @ 26:
I almost always start it. It was funny that we got busted when you started it for once. That's why I told the SM, "They were molesting me this time". Speaking of squealing, I got scolded at the same time for trying to link warthog lovin and a pile of dead pigs to Rove being frog marched... I didn't realize that crossed the violent intent line, and I heard about it from the SM in no uncertain terms, so we all got spanked a little last nite. I like the name of our little bunch of retards, though - "The Lockeroom Boys Club", lol. We can still have fun, just gotta keep it more G rated, bro...let's have a code for Don't Go There (dgt), whatayasay?

Ron @ 30:
And I thank the cool SM's. I have a feeling that if it was just us LRB's lookin at the thread, the SM'd be right there slingin it with us, haha - so we'll try ta make it easier on them from now on...

That almost disturbed me as much as his real picture does.

Not. Sleeping. Tonight. Very scary!
Can we talk about how LIEberman was twisting the facts today, like him saying the democrats have moved to the far left?

The Independent: Mobile phones 'more dangerous than smoking'
Brain expert warns of huge rise in tumours and calls on industry to take immediate steps to reduce radiation
Mobile phones could kill far more people than smoking or asbestos, a study by an award-winning cancer expert has concluded. He says people should avoid using them wherever possible and that governments and the mobile phone industry must take "immediate steps" to reduce exposure to their radiation.
The study, by Dr Vini Khurana, is the most devastating indictment yet published of the health risks.
It draws on growing evidence – exclusively reported in the IoS in October – that using handsets for 10 years or more can double the risk of brain cancer. Cancers take at least a decade to develop, invalidating official safety assurances based on earlier studies which included few, if any, people who had used the phones for that long.
Earlier this year, the French government warned against the use of mobile phones, especially by children. Germany also advises its people to minimise handset use, and the European Environment Agency has called for exposures to be reduced.

Ron, watch this segment and marvel at the supposed superior technology protecting us by the like's of Michael Chertoff. Gosh, what should we beleive?
From Logan Murphy's comment and the link to Olbermann's worst person in the world. How much our we paying these assholes and to do what exactly?
Olbermann relates a story from a recent appearance Chertoff made in Washington where the citizens in attendance learned that a DHS agent stopped a car because it set off a sensor triggering a nuclear alert. When they stopped the car they found a CAT with a tumor who had been treated with radiation three days earlier.

Were the fine residents of Connecticut deceived? Or, were they duped!? Lieberman is soooo well established in Washington that he reeks of Bush santorum. He's the republican love bomb sent in to do all us democrats in! I know better, maybe because I'm not in the swill that is politics out east. Did you ever think that he is democrat!? For shame.
Another big week coming up and Dad got all rested up yesterday. He and Mom spent the day going through some old photo albums. Funny how the war left his memory blank until he married Mom.
We got the whole show down to the event this morning not without some fussing about which tie to wear. We went with the lucky star pattern.
Once in the limo and moving across an integrated part of town Dad leaned forward and asked the secret service driver which one was Obama. In his well practiced reassuring tone the driver replied he was keeping his eyes out. That seemed to reassure Dad as he rested his hand on his sidearm hip. I could tell he was on his game.
After lunch we swing around the condo one more time to try to get mom up while Dad waits downstairs. So I get in there and she’s yelling at the top of her lungs at some Vicky women then goes silent before closing her eyes and falling asleep again. I tidy up a bit but the lock on the medicine cabinet will have to wait for repair tomorrow.
Going to be one of those days. Gotta run.
You know, I was pondering Al Sadr's order to his militias to cease fire and pull back after fighting U.S. forces and its Iraqi Government stooges. I think he did this for several reasons. 1. To prove a point that the so called "surge" that Cheney and the others keep touting is in fact nothing more than an illusion. 2. To see just which of his militias will not obey his orders. 3. To show that the Iraqi Government remains incapable to act on its own without U.S. help. 4. To lure U.S. and Iraqi forces away from a specific area (I.E. areas in Baghdad) that he wishes to weaken.

Finnaly a picture of LIE-bermans true self. A picture for STEPHIEN KING to use in his next book.
Tonight, Japanese time, evidence came forth that is pretty damning in a murder case that happened in Yokosuka, Japan.
A 61 year old taxi driver was murdered and at this time, all evidence leads to a member of the U.S. Navy being the murderer.
I have lived in Yokosuka, Japan for almost 2 decades and in all that time, the city has suffered through a total of 3 murders total. All committed by people associated with the U.S. Navy and all in the last 3 years (I exclude the Lucy Blackman case because she was killed in Tokyo and buried here).
When we talk about the war on terror and America's reputation suffering abroad, mostly we are talking about our reputation regarding the lies told in the run-up and the blatant profiteering that is occurring.
However, what I am now listening to on the news as I type is another unfortunate side effect of the bush legacy.
We are dangerously close to being thrown out of Japan in my opinion. Not only are we dealing with this case, but a young Sailor in Yokosuka also confessed last week to stabbing two women in his apartment late last year. We also had a 38 year old Marine arrested and subsequently released (the family refused to file charges because of the psychological damage the trial would put their daughter through) for allegedly raping a 14 year old girl.
Our military is spread so thin that we are turning a blind eye to a reduction of recruiting standards. The overseas screening process is laughable, at best. The only way I know to be disqualified is due to debt.
Also, I recently read from an Airman in Okinawa that many of the Marines that are returning from Iraq are coming back with serious mental problems.
The military's response is to lock down the bases, which does nothing but raise already dangerously high stress levels in these kids.
Imagine being away from home for 6 months at a time, unable to get internet access, limited email access that can be taken away at a whim. 7 day work weeks and living conditions that would be considered inhumane for prisoners.
Deal with that for 6 months and then when you finally return home, HOME (and I cannot stress that word enough), you are treated as a criminal. If you are E-4 or below, you are likely not to be able to own a car, must be back on the base by midnight, must always be with another "shipmate."
Our military bases in Japan are a powder keg.
When I came here back in '91, they were considered some of the best duty in all the military. Now, people are searched as the enter and exit the base.
And if they are lucky enough to get shore duty, they will be working with a lot of civil servants who get paid double the amount that the service members do (for those hired stateside) and work half as much.
Yet for every sign that says this system isn't working (such as MURDERS), there is a new and more creative curtailing of freedoms.
Our troops deserve better.
The Japanese, one of our closest allies deserve better.
Fuck, as a locally hired civil servant, I deserve better.
This is a real problem people. Please, spread the word. Our servicemembers have no one else to turn to.
Sorry for the rant.
That pic is even more scay than a pic of James Carville. Shit!
that is the best picture I ever saw of holy joe!

Peak Oil? Bring it on! Solving the climate problem will solve the peak oil problem, too - http://gristmill.grist.org/story/2008/3/28/122423/523
We are at or near the peak of cheap conventional oil production. There is no realistic prospect that the conventional oil supply can keep up with current projected demand for much longer.
Many people are expecting unconventional oil -- such as the tar sands and liquid coal -- to make up the supply shortage. That would be a climate catastrophe, and I (optimistically) believe humanity is wise enough not to let that happen. More supply is not the answer to either our oil or climate problem.
We have the two primary solutions to peak oil at hand: fuel efficiency and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles run on zero-carbon electricity. The only question is whether con-servatives will let progressives accelerate those solutions into the marketplace before it is too late to prevent a devastating oil shock or, for that matter, devastating climate change.

Algae is considered one of the most promising options for future biofuel production. Yielding 30 times more energy per acre than its closest biofuel competitors, algae require neither fresh water nor arable land for cultivation. It is estimated that if all of the fuel in the USA were replaced with algae biofuels, an area no larger than the state of Maryland would be required to produce it - making algae a much more efficient user of land than corn or soy ethanol, for example.

with all they have invested in her campaign, time and money, its understandable that they might truly believe they can sweep those states and get ahead in the popular vote
ohio progressive (typical non-typical white person) @ 137:

tyree @ 142:

And just whom lists Joe as his mentor?
And just whom flew out to appear on stage with Joe in his primary battle against Ned Lamont?
Hmmm, would it be Barry Obama?
Yes, it would be.
Jim @ 147:
do a little research.....
the party made a decision to support joe, even after he lost his marbles....and they still treat him like a human being, but look at that picture...they see what we see, but the majority is so thin, they need to pretend he still seems normal...
the mentor thing is a myth-- its a custom in the senate to pair up rookies with veterans...obama happened to get paired up with lieberman
witness too Obama's mocking of and vote against the Lieberman Kyl Iran resolution....
so tying Obama to Lieberman is about as silly as anything....
especially, too, if you're doing so in the context of a clinton comparison-– Clinton was just as supportive of Lieberman in the primary (bill clinton went to campaign up there), and Sen Clinton supported Kyl Lieberman which Obama mocks and rejects...
There was an article in the Hartford Courant this morning in which Sore Loserman was repeating his tiresome rant about excessive "partisanship" on the part of Democrats.
I'd love to run into him some day, so I could grab him by the lapels, and say (with as much spittle flying as possible), "Hey Joe - did you ever hear of the freakin' K STREET PROJECT???"
Asswipe.
