This sort of performance is what made Ruth unique. It was in the way she got her entire body into her performance that set her apart from a lot of her contemporaries. Not just in her movements, but in the way she would shift from singing to shrieks and back again. And not only was it entertaining, but it sounded different, which made her interesting to listen to as well as watch.

Know of any interesting performance styles?
