This song, especially at the end, might be one of the most repetitive that I've ever heard. However, the magic of James Brown is that he makes it work. He pretty much shouts please at the end ad infinitum, but, man, does he sell it. It's safe to say that he had some of the best stage presence you could ask for and was one of the first performers to be considered the "frontman" of a band (in contemporary terms). It also helped that he also had a great band that was as talented as it was disciplined.

Got any favorite frontmen?
