Ted Cruz is trying to keep his campaign hopes alive by attacking President Obama as if they're six-year-olds on a playground. Since the Paris attacks, Republicans have indeed acted like frightened children in fearmongering the Syrian refugee crisis here at home. So what has turned Cruz into a whiny pre- adolescent youngster?

At a press conference in Manila Tuesday night, the president called out all the scaredy-cat governors and 2016 candidates:

"Apparently they are scared of widows and orphans coming into the United States of America," Obama said of Republicans. "At first, they were too scared of the press being too tough on them in the debates. Now they are scared of three-year-old orphans. That doesn’t seem so tough to me."

He also took aim at other truly offensive comments made about the refugees, saying, "We are not well served when, in response to a terrorist attack, we descend into fear and panic. We don't make good decisions if its based on hysteria or an exaggeration of risks."

And here was one lobbed right at Jeb Bush, Ted Cruz, and Rupert Murdoch. "When individuals say we should have a religious test and that only Christians, proven Christians should be admitted, that's offensive."

The president was actually attacking all the GOP candidates, but in Cruz's narcissism and for his campaign, he tried to make it appear as if he was the real person being singled by Obama. So Ted Cruz made believe he was truly insulted and played the bully game.

President Obama has now chosen to attack me directly two days in a row. He called me offensive, the day before he called me unAmerican. he chose to make both of those insults on foreign soil while he was abroad, attacking me...

it is utterly unfitting of a President to be engaging in those kinds of insults and personal attacks

The president is overseas so of course he would give his opinion on the matter in foreign soil, Ted. Sorry he doesn't live by your schedule or time frame. Now here's where he goes full-on pubescent.

Cruz: He talked about how belittling the Republican field is scared, well let me suggest something Mr. President. If you want to insult me, you can do it overseas, you can do it in Turkey, you can do it in foreign countries. But I would encourage you, Mr. President, come back and insult me to my face.

Let's have a debate on Syrian refugees, right now. We can do it anywhere you want. I would prefer it in the United States and not overseas, We'll do it on any station. I prefer it in the United States and not overseas, where you’re making the insults. It’s easy to toss a cheap insult when no one can respond.

Hahaha. He's trying to say that the president is too scared to criticize Cruz in America so he's making those remarks in Turkey with the hope that maybe Cruz wouldn't hear about them. Please, make it stop!

Of course, since we live in the modern world with the intertubes and all, Ted was able to respond immediately.

I'm just shocked Ted didn't challenge Bmaz to a duel at sunrise.
