Bernie Sanders apologized to Hillary Clinton and also to his supporters for the data breach that has been the topic of hot discussion for the past 36 hours.

He also vowed to fire anyone else he might find responsible or culpable in the data access.

For her part, Secretary Clinton accepted his apology and said she believed Americans have many other things on their minds besides who accessed what campaign data.

It was a statesmanlike moment from both of them, and ought to end this particular issue, at least as it pertains to the two campaigns.
