It really is a wonder to observe how the TV show Rolodexes work.
Republican campaign shakeup? GOP nominee destroying the party?
Call up.... Bill Kristol??
This is the guy who thought Sarah Palin was going to be an awesome Hail Mary pick for John McCain. The wrongest wrong pundit on the planet. The guy who, as Slate pointed out, has predicted Trump's demise at least ten times this campaign cycle.
And he also believes "Hillary Clinton is the candidate of the status quo."
He's still anti-Trump.
Here's the deal, @Reince: You get to stay as RNC chair only if you help persuade @realDonaldTrump to step down as the Republican nominee.

Last night on CNN I noted how creepy the conversation at a Trump-Manafort-Ailes meeting would be. Add Bannon. Ever lower into the gutter.

Joe Scarborough this morning brought up that Breitbart News called Bill Kristol a "renegade Jew" for daring to oppose Trump, and Kristol was all too happy to name-call back:
I hate the fact that it’s called Breitbart News. It’s unfortunate we’re all sitting around talking about "Breitbart." It’s a disservice to Andrew’s memory. I knew Andrew well, and he was a trouble-maker but he was a good-hearted person. I honestly think if they change the name and call it, you know, "right-wing intolerant mean-spirited news," that would be fine.
Kristol also had words for Steven Bannon, formerly of Breitbart and now Chief Executive of the Trump campaign:
Mr. Bannon has run his website, I guess it’s been pretty successful from a business point of view, but someone should go look at all the things they’ve said.
At which point Irony curled up into a fetal-position ball and died.
I’m not a big ‘oh, it’s terrible anti-Semitism’ kind of guy, but that’s a little creepy. Why was I a renegade Jew? Because I don’t support Donald Trump. Really?
Washington Post reporter Bob Costa pointed out that Breitbart is the source of "Trumpism." Remember, though, that it can't be called "Trumpism" when the Republican primary electorate selected him as their nominee, and RNC chairman Reince Priebus gave Trump his blessing again just last week in front of a Republican Presidential Rally.
Kristol said he would be voting for 'Independent Republican" Evan McMullin in November.
That's real nice for you there, Bill Kristol. Just remember, no rebranding for Republicans. Your party made Trump. You own him.
