MAGA-ish Congressman Byron Donalds doesn't appreciate part of Florida's new African-American history curriculum, specifically the new standard which says that middle schoolers in the state must learn "how slaves developed skills which, in some instances, could be applied for their personal benefit."

“Slavery was terrible in our country,” Donalds told WINK News. “It was terrible for Black people coming to America, and it was just flat out wrong, no doubt about that.”

That didn't go down well on Twitter with conservatives, including Gov. Ron DeSantis spokesperson Christina Pushaw.

Saying that slavery is wrong makes you a sellout in MAGAville.

Just gonna throw this out there. Donalds is one of two Black Republicans in the U.S. House, and he has previously said that he doesn't believe systemic racism exists.
